  • So, not trying to act rush-y here, but why is the Troublemaker episode taking so many days to air? Is it some kind of technical difficulty? Did Thomas Astruc post anything about it?

      Loading editor
    • I think Troublemaker won't be the next episode... Maybe The Black Owl or Gigantitan will come out first (November 26)

    • Well, it's not the finale, because the Heroe's Day is. So maybe soon? We have a lot of episodes to go, though.

        Loading editor
    • The Heroes' Day is a Season 3 arc, not the Season 2 finale. That being said, there is no hint as to the official airing order of the episodes, so we just need to have patience.

    • Troublemaker will be out SOON. Very soon. It was just released that in Latin America, starting May 27th an episode will be aired every day (or week, that seems more plausible aha) until the season is over. So Troblemaker will be one of those!

Oh, thank you for correcting me! I don't know why I thought that was the finale aha

Honest? Cause that would be awesome. They kept us waiting so long with all these delays and sudden changes in schedule. This could be a way to compensate us.

    • One of the sources I looked at said that in Latin America, they haven't started showing season 2 yet. So the "new" episodes might only be the episodes from the first half of season 2. :/ Does anyone know if this is true?

I get miraculous information from a youtube channel called ThePowers3000. I don't think it's official, so I'm always just a litttle tiny bit skeptical of the information they release - but usually they get information from official sources.

Apparently, they just said that troublemaker, and a new episode - Reverser, are going to be coming out on the 26th and 27th in Portugal, but also that they might be delayed again.

It was just released, it will be out on the 27th, the day after Reverser is released! Unfortunately, it will most likely be in Spanish though c:

I know that youtube channel! I subscribed to that channel as a way to get latest info on any upcoming episodes on Season 2 and they did say that Troublemaker and Reverser might come out this weekend in Portugal but it's not official. :(

Do you know when they're delayed to? (And also, where did you find it said it was delayed? We should have expected this....)

    • People from Portugal went ahead the TV guide to see what episodes will play, and neither Reverser or Troublemaker will air in the days they were supposed to. For now, their air dates are unknown, and unless Thomas confirms their airing time or people pay attention to their TV schedule, we won't know.

I'm not surprised they delayed it. They have delayed episodes from the original date they were supposed to air how many times now? -_-

    • Pretty sure ThePowers3000 counts as an "illegal" source, though I may be wrong. Honestly, at this point, I don't trust videos claiming to have "spoilers" or "release dates" any more, as they're all too often either wrong, made up, or delayed once the actual date arrives.

Yes, you're wrong. The fact you saw a couple of YouTube channels posting fake news doesn't mean that the whole YouTube community wanna be like this and post the same fakes.

Speaking of me, I'm always checking all the soursces and the official TV schedules.  The TV channel is the one to blame for delaying the world premiere, not me or anyone else who shared this information. We all know that most countries translate and dub the S2 episodes while their animation isn't even finished. Responsible persons from Disney Channel Portugal and UK put the episodes in the TV schedule just because they thought their production is already finished. You know why? Because no other normal show is dubbed at the earlier development stages of its episodes. This is it.

Cool it, bud. The wiki staff is very careful about emphasizing that most YouTube "Miraculous Ladybug" channels do not count as acceptable "official" sources either for episodes or for "spoiler" claims, and I hadn't seen any comments from them lately that happened to whitelist you as a source. That doesn't mean they've never said anything to that effect, but it does mean that I've never seen you confirmed as an acceptable source. I never said you absolutely couldn't be a valid source either (it's why I said "I could be wrong" in the first place). If the wiki staff accept you as an official source, that's fine by me, and I have no issues with that, so watch your tone, please. As it is, I do tend to go to your channel to watch the episodes on YouTube, so it's actually a relief to know that you're counted as a valid source that I can cite without breaking a rule.

Also, either you're naive or you're deliberately downplaying the number of minor YouTube channels out there that post videos with clickbait titles or fake spoilers. Yes, most of them are small channels with no credibility, but I've seen plenty out there. Plus, I included the fact that the TV channels delay the episode, when I said "either wrong, made up, or delayed once the actual date arrives." Kudos to you for checking official sources, but not everyone out there does, and not everyone out there updates or removes videos with information that has been proven wrong. Just because some channels, like yours, actually filter out "fake news" (which is a bad choice of words to use when talking to an American, by the way, with today's sociopolitical situation in the U.S.) doesn't mean that plenty of other channels either don't care about spreading fake news or aren't smart enough to check their facts before signal boosting "spoilers" and rumors that end up being false.

That is historically the normal practice with sound animation. They record the voice parts, then animate the characters' mouth movements to match the spoken words. I've heard/read that Miraculous Ladybug is animated to the English voice track, so other languages just have to "make do". I have seen one small thing that contradicts this, however: In "Princess Fragrance", when the three people are evacuating the hotel room by sliding down Cat Noir's staff, in the French dub all three — Chloé, Prince Ali, and his chaperone — make anxious squealing sounds as they slide down, whereas in the English, Ali makes a gleeful "Whee!" sound instead — he finds the novel experience fun and exciting! The visuals of them sliding down go too fast to make out their facial expressions, but if you freeze on Ali, you see that he shows the same anxious expression as Chloé and the chaperone, matching the French audio. But apart from this, it does seem as if mouth movements match the English audio.

Oh whoops...in the process of replying to you, Lulu, I finally read the preceding posts carefully and saw that Alexiel actually listed it as an unofficial source. Thanks for the heads-up; I missed that comment and had only ThePowers3000's own words to go off of. (Incidentally, I'm assuming at this point "unofficial" and "illegal" are being used interchangeably.)

    • This trailer reveals something that was already expected. Like in "The Dark Owl" after one of Ladybug's earrings is being taken off she starts to detransform. So from all we know and from what we've seen so far this is gonna be an interesting episode. Troublemaker will be indeed a villain that won't be easy to defeat.
