  • We know from Plagg that just because a Kwami is there to help you doesn't mean they're above having personal vices. I mean, we have Tikki for the perfect "by-the-book" Kwami, so I wouldn't want the new duo to be exactly like her. But exactly how will they act?

For Pollen, I can't help but love Valory Pierce's portrayal of the little bee as a bit of a spoiled pet herself, flaunting her vanity and enjoying the lap of luxury that she fell into with Chloe (at her partial expense). For Trixx, I'm not really sure, but given a fox's reputation as a trickster, she could be a small-time prankster that Alya is frequently trying to keep under control.

    • I could see both of those happening by the way Im new to this wiki hi.

    • I'm not sure about Pollen's personality, but for Trixx, I think she's very sly and loves to explore the school, meaning it's very risky that someone sees her. Despite being a pain to Alya sometimes, Trixx still has a good heart and whenever Alya feels down, she's always there to cheer her up.

    • Both Plagg and Tikki seem to be there to balance Mari and Adrien's personalities. Tikki is calm and a bit mother like, good for girl who listens her emotions more often than logic and has some doupts about her worth. Plagg on the other hand is more like "live a little, dude" and mischievous personality, this way helping Adrien to break out of the role of the perfect son and express some negative emotions time to time.

It's possible that Pollen and Trixx will follow the similar paths. Chloe is in shallow nature so Pollen will probably be more caring, taking the role of Jiminy Cricket in Chloe's life.

Trixx... Well Alya is a bit workaholic and ready to do almost anything to get material for her blog, so Trixx will probably be more chill, often trying her best to distract Alya when she is workig too hard for her own good.

    • I agree with Granaatti that kwamis often have contrasting personalities with their human partners. Even Wayzz is more nervous, cautious, and down-to-earth in comparison to Master Fu, who is more willing to take risks.

For Pollen, she will most likely have to contrast Chloé, a selfish character who will probably have remnants of that after hitting her redemption stage. I'd like to think Pollen as a strict nanny in a way, having a good heart but not taking any excuses or lousy behavior from her partner. She probably also loves beauty and regalness, but she expects the best out of Chloé and never holds back on putting her in her place. However, she does have a soft side, and she really cares about Chloé, even if she annoys, frustrates, and disappoints her depending on particular situations. Chloé seems to lack good discipline from André if not both of her parents, so I feel like Pollen will become that stern yet well-intentioned life coach teacher she could really benefit from.

Trixx is being paired with Alya, a girl who strives for honesty and dedication with her work and search for answers. I expect, in opposition, that Trixx will be less interested in serious matters and more interested in having fun and causing mischief. Foxes are known to be tricksters, and I could see her being quite a handful as a prankster and joker. She could be sassy and risk-taking too, willing to put her secrecy on the line if it means she can cause an amusing situation for others, like misunderstandings and tricks. Alya could learn a bit to loosen up and not feel every question needs an answer, but at the least, I'd love to see the dilemmas she could end up with when it comes to Trixx's rambunctious nature.

    • I think Trix would bea dutiful superhero kwami.Alya is all about her blog and likes and views, she is a typical teenaged fangirl.I can see Alya try to keep up her blog and be a superhero and Trix trying to get her to be responsible and pay more attention to superheroing.

    • I'm thinking of Trixx as mischevious and fun-loving.
If she's a prankster, I would hope she's more of the funny kind then the malicious kind.
Like moving Foxgirl's pencil 2cm to the right so if she reaches out to pick it up, it's not there.
Or answering Foxgirl's phone, making the caller wonder who exactly is answering and why they are have her phone:

Trixx: Hi, I'm Foxgirl's digital assistant, how can I assist you today?
Foxgirl: Gimme the phone, nobody will believe you!
Caller: I want to leave a recorded message.
      Trixx looks smug.
Foxgirl: Not one word out of you!

Pollen I've been imagining as a practical down2earth Kwami, focussed, goal oriented and not afraid to speak up when Beegirl is going AlphaBratDiva.

Basically, Trixx is a complementary match for Foxgirl, but Pollen is a counterbalance.

Of course, these are just my speculations, they could end up being completely different.
But just looking at Trixx, you know she's going to have a sneaky side!

Fair enough, but I still like the idea of Pollen having a bit of a vanity problem. Enough that she can rustle Chloe's feathers with things like swiping and using up her makeup or ordering beauty aids on her Euro, but still being a Kwami that's trying to look out for her egotistical charge and will put her foot down as needed.

    • I agree with this seemingly unanimous idea of Trixx living up to her name and being a flippant prankster. Since I associate the Fox Miraculous with the Chinese Fire Element, she could have a dramatic side too.

Pollen, who I associate with Earth, I would like to be the "Mommy Kwami;" She wants to take care of everybody, and give them all soup and kisses no matter the protests. Her mouth runs a mile a minute about sweetness and goodwill so much that she can annoy her comb's user into doing the selfless thing until it becomes habit.

    • I do love the idea of a prankster/happy-go-lucky/risk-taking Trixx, but at the same time she doesn't seem to contrast Alya in the way that Tikki contrasts Marinette and Plagg contrasts Adrien - although Alya is extremely dedicated to her blog, she's not the dutiful girl that advocates of the "playful-Trixx" idea seem to be pushing. She's pretty much willing to do anything for footage. It follows that maybe Trixx would be more dutiful, but I don't like that.

This is half-cooked and I'm sorta theorising as I go along, so bear with me.

I feel like Alya would still want to get footage of Ladybug and Cat Noir - she doesn't want to let her blog down. And it would be a lot easier for her now she's Foxgirl/whatever name because I hate "Foxgirl", but at the same time I bet that she or Trixx would realise that pretty much everyone knows that Alya is the girl who films the superheroes - so she'd have to still film them as Alya, not film them while she's with them as "Foxgirl" - because otherwise, RIP secret identity.

So maybe Trixx is always reminding her to drop the blog and do superhero stuff like she needs to? I'll finish this later because I have to go.

    • I think they'll act as their own personal Jiminy Cricket, like the other Kwami.

I think Trixx will have a suave personality, but like Alya, have a strong sense of duty. Alya has one to her blog, but Trixx's will be to her job of protecting the world. Trixx will probably let Alya work on her blog- if she doesn't, she puts her identity at stake, but when things look grim, she'll insist that it's time to transform. She may be a bit of a trickster, but I'm not sure how she could compliment Alya's personality as a trickster. Trixx may be sensible but adventurous, more than happy to help Alya pursue stories for the Ladyblog, but also implore Alya to adhere to her duty as a superhero. Which, as a fan of superheroes, Alya will do. I kind of see Trixx as kinda... meeting Tikki and Plagg in the middle somewhere. She's got her sense of duty, but she also likes to have fun and be adventurous and things. And because Foxgirl sounds lame, I just call her Vixen.

With Pollen, because Sabrina is the meek one who takes Chloe's nonsense, Pollen could be regal and elegant. Firm. Stubborn. Probably a little playful and social (or as social as she can be) based on her character art. Kind. She might have her Chloe-like traits, like haughtiness and arrogance, but I don't think she'd be a second Chloe, nor as submissive as Sabrina. Pollen is firm about what Chloe needs to be doing and slowly but surely changes Chloe for the better. I think Pollen must be stubborn at the absolute least.

    • I am completely behind trickster Trixx. Name and species stereotype aside, someone mentioned that Alya likes to know the truth about everything; that's kinda what led her to being Lady WiFi. It'll be funny to see Trixx sneaking around and speaking through half-truths (I doubt she'll outright lie) to her holder. She strikes me as someone who'll set a lot of booby traps. When I think of Trixx, this "future scene" pops into my head: Alya and Marinette are walking to school, post-reveal, chatting about stuff, Alya reaches down into her bag to get something; BOOM! Her face is covered in mayonnaise (don't ask). Both girls give the kwami the death glare and she just giggles.

As for Pollen, I'm pretty in-between the mother figure and Chloe's kwami clone. I can easily see it going both ways, though the mother figure would make the most sense with the "opposite-personalities" theory. Also, we know that Chloe's mother is absent from her life, by will or otherwise, so having Pollen there will be a good guide for her.

    • Yep, this is a great thread, and I think there are some really great ideas floating around here.

For Trixx, I agree with the fiery trickster thing. While Alya is energetic and outgoing, she is a devoted friend to Marinette. Even though I feel like they might have bumps in their relationship, I feel like Trixx would be a good fit for Alya and constantly make her laugh, though sometimes annoy her with pranks and stuff like that.

For Pollen, I would like to also say I'm kind of at a midpoint between motherly, responsible, and vain, spoiled, but I definitely can see her being like a more confident Sabrina, a fashionista who is daring and not afraid to be strict on Chloé and serve as a voice of rationality. So while I feel like she could be vain, she could still be motherly and responsible,

Now that we're talking about Kwami having contrasting personalities, I actually haven't heard many people talk about what Nino and Wayzz's dynamic will be like. For me, since we already know both characters, I can already sort of envision it. Nino is sorta boisterous, a modern DJ, and a risk taker, and  Wayzz has always been shown to be vigilant and cautious. I honestly think he'll be really confused at Nino's interests, kind of like when your Mom or Dad is confused about technology or pop culture. That thought just makes me laugh.

    • I like the idea of a trickster Trixx who figures out who Ladybug and Cat Noir is but doesn't tell Alya and is even like, "Don't try finding out who they are just yet, let them tell you." Basically she'd be like the older sister who plays around with Alya while also helping her with things like her blog and being a hero.

Pollen should contrast with Chloe's mom, we can be pretty sure that her mom's someone who isn't around much, maybe like an adult Chloe only worse

    • We've all heard the phrase "Busy as a Bee"

For Pollen, I'm imagining her to be much more strict and hard on Chloe, keeping her in line. Duty-based and driven, I can imagine Pollen playing the Busy Bee role - emphasizing getting work done first. Having someone who will stubbornly keep Chloe in line would be good.
