A free preview version of this issue was released on Free Comic Book Day 2018 in the event's Silver lineup.[1] The full issue was first released digitally on June 20, 2018, and later the physical version was released on July 18, 2018.[2]

Trivia[]
- This issue along with Issue 1 are the only ones that contain comic adaptations of the Miraculous: Tales from Paris webisodes.
- This is the only issue in the entire Miraculous Adventures series that solely contain adaptations of existing webisodes and not original stories.
- This issue has five different comic variations:
- Cover A, the New York Comic Con 2018 cover, and the Free Comic Book Day 2018 cover were all drawn by Brian Hess.
- Cover B was drawn by Trevor Grace.
- The SDCC cover was drawn by Angie Nasca.
- On May 8, 2018, Hess uploaded textless version of all three covers he drew on his official website.[4]
- Prior to the release of this issue, a different synopsis was used for the issue on several websites which reads: "Ladybug and Cat Noir are back in Paris, but who akumatized that father in New York? Does Hawk Moth have a cousin in the United States? Can the superheroes of Paris save New York City and the rest of the world if it happens again?".
- Based on this synopsis, it implies that the issue was originally going to be a continuation of "The Trash Krakken - Part 3". However, because the series has been canceled, this likely resulted in the issue being reworked to contain comic adaptations of the webisodes instead.
- The previous synopsis was similar to the unreleased second compilation volume of Miraculous Adventures.
- This issue was originally planned to be a part of the second compilation volume for the series.[5] But because issues 6-8 are unreleased due to the cancellation of Miraculous Adventures, it caused this issue to be the only one that isn't in any compilation volume.
