For not regarding my notices and guidance that I gave commonly to you before, omitting things from articles for no specific reason, and in addition constantly engaging in edit wars, you are banned for 2 weeks.
If you continue with your actions when you return, you will receive a longer ban.
During this time, please read the rules and regulations for this wiki and make sure you follow them. Thank you.
As I mentioned in the past, stop randomly removing things such as images, quotes, templates and article information from pages. That is considered vandalism. A lot of your edits are made in good faith and are very helpful but however at the same time, a lot of your edits consists of removing things without a legitimate reason. I'm suspecting you're trying to balance your edits to avoid a vandalism warning. Stop doing that or otherwise, you will receive a ban from the administrators. Take this as a warning.
If you don't know how to correctly hide your spoilers, this explanation will help. We need to hide the spoilers until the episodes officially premiere in the US, as this wiki is based on the US version. Thank you!
Hi. I noticed that you removed the table on "Gabriel Agreste/Designs" page and you vandalized it twice. Fortunately, I rollbacked your edits so it restored the original version of the page before you edited it. Can I ask why you did that please?
The format on these design pages are very sensitive so in the event that you expel the table or undo someone else's edit on the table, it can harm the coding. Kindly don't do these type of actions again. And please do not vandalize any articles in general such as removing images or deleting the table on design pages. Thank you!
Also, please refrain from randomly removing things, such as templates, images, quotes and other things from articles without a clear explanation on why you did that. Those edits get immediately reverted and can be considered vandalism. Thank you.
Greetings! Thank you for working on the character quotes pages, but there's a few things I need to let you know for future reference.
First, some quotes aren't notable enough to be put in the Quotes section. "Happy Birthday, X" "Seize the Miraculous," "Let's go find X," and other quotes akin to those are vey generic and can be easily said by any character, or they can be said so much that they aren't special. Please avoid adding quotes that aren't worth noting so that the quotes pages can be full of strong quotes. Notables quotes explain something, strongly reflect a character's thought on someone/something/themselves, or are unique to the character themselves. After all, the Quotes pages aren't meant to include every quote by the character or even all of the notable quotes by the character; they're meant to include some of the notable quotes that people can recognize and appreciate outside of watching the episode.
Second, if quotes don't make sense on their own, they either need a pronoun replaced with a noun in brackets, or it shouldn't be added. For example, "I've met him, and I'm way more personal," if the viewer hasn't seen the episode where the quote is talked about, it doesn't make any sense. To fix this, we replace the "it" with a bracketed name of the referenced thing: "I've met [the genie in the lamp], and I'm way more personal." This goes for characters, objects, and places being referenced but never formally introduced within a quote. If it has been referenced (e.g. "My scarf is missing, and I wish I hadn't taken it off), there's no need. However, if there isn't any way to put in the name in brackets, the quote should just be left off of the quotes page.
A few spelling things. Whenever writing it, remember that we spell Cat Noir's name the Engish way on this wiki, not the French way (Chat Noir). Also, we capitalize Miraculous when we're referencing to the magical jewels.
Some of this stuff is things I realized I need to fix from my own additions, so this isn't in any way trying to undermine your work. I appreciate that you're checking over and adding things to Quote pages, and these reminders are meant to be helpful. Thank you!
I noticed you re-added quotes I removed. I removed them for the same upper two reasons I told you above. Next time, please message me and ask why me (or another editor in a different case) why an edit or info was removed instead of adding it back, or else it starts an editing war, which are not permitted or needed on this wiki. Thanks!
