Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng

Marinette hugs her parents.

Whenever with her parents, Marinette is shown to love and support them, just like they do for her. Sometimes, she helps them in the bakery, like finishing an order or designing a logo for their business. When the Bubbler's bubbles took her parents away, Marinette desperately wanted to save them and all of the parents. She often plays video games, such as Ultimate Mecha Strike III, with her father.

Marinette mentions in "Despair Bear" that she likes it when her father comes to school to give her class cooking lessons. In "Troublemaker", she convinced them to have the TV crew film their bakery on the show Fill My Shoes as an attempt to increase business, noting she liked the idea of her dad becoming an instant celebrity. Marinette receives their support in "Queen Wasp" when she has the chance to go to New York. One of her Instagram pages shows she also enjoys practicing morning meditation with her mother.

Upon wanting to go to China, Marinette was surprised that her parents had been saving money for the trip ever since she was born. In Shanghai, Marinette learns more about her mother's side of the family, such as her mother's original name was Xia Bing before she moved to France and that she has other family members.

In "Tikki (webisode)", Marinette says that she would love to introduce Tikki to her parents knowing they would love Tikki as much as she does but understands that her kwami must be kept a secret.

After dealing with Gigantitan in "Weredad", she becomes shocked when her father hears her say that she "loved" Cat Noir and is annoyed that he invites him over for breakfast. However, when the hero mentions being in love with Ladybug, Marinette puts on a convincing act that she is sad (but is actually happy.) However, she becomes horrified when she is imprisoned by thorn vines due to her father's akumatization and does what she can to save to him. After Tom is deakumatized, Marinette is embraced by him, but seeing him still angry at Cat Noir for breaking her heart, she calmed him down accepting the hero's love of Ladybug. When Tom and Sabine hear Cat Noir thinks that Marinette is a fan of his, they are happy for their friendship. When Tom extends an offer for Cat Noir to come by and help him make croissants for Ladybug, Marinette becomes annoyed with him. During Tom's birthday in "Bakerix", Marinette had made it a tradition to make her father a birthday sweater, and as the best gift of all, this year she'll help him make up with his father, Rolland.

With her mother, Marinette admires her for being her opposite in "Qilin", being cool, calm and well organized. Realizing she was late for Mother's Day, she had to pick up a gift for her on their day out, but accidentally took the bus tickets that led to a misunderstanding and Sabine's akumatization. Knowing that it was partially her fault for her mother's condition as Ladybug, Marinette was determined to save her. With her mother's reasoning still there and all she wanted was the handcuffs off, the heroine took a more diplomatic approach by keeping her promise her mother rejected the akuma. After she was deakumatized, Marinette apologized to her for the incident and gave her flowers as gift and promised that someday she'll figure how to organize everything.

In "Dearest Family", after Gina arrives at the bakery with a motorcycle for Marinette, thinking it was her birthday, both parents and grandparents went into a big argument about the proper way to raise her, with Tom believing she needs to be protected and Sabine believing her daughter is responsible enough to take her own decisions and that she only needs her mother. When they were akumatized again into their previous akumatized forms, they fought with each other, together with Bakerix and Béfana, to prove who is best to raise Marinette after they were all deakumatized they all apologized to her.

Later on like in "Cat Blanc", Marinette received her parents support about having a relationship with Adrien.

Tom and Sabine are unaware of Marinette's double life as Ladybug. She feels bad about making up excuses to them when she has to be her alter ego and is upset when they ground her for missing classes even though she knows they mean well. Marinette officially meets them as Ladybug in "Animan" but loses her cool when she believes they found her out. She is relieved they didn't. On the other hand, Marinette keeps her cool and thanks them for their help in saving Kim. She is also thankful for their help in the Paris Rebellion during "Heroes' Day".

During her attempt to stop Gigantitan in "Weredad", Marinette nearly says her father's name as Ladybug. In "Oni-Chan", as Ladybug, she thanks Tom for his help in discovering the villain's weakness. As her responsibilities continue to grow, Marinette becomes heartbroken that she couldn't tell anyone her secrets, even to her own parents.

During galette day, as Ladybug, Marinette was surprised that Shadow Moth akumatized her whole family despite giving half of them Magical Charms. By breaking the akumatized object she and Cat Noir discovered that Shadow Moth made them the first victims of his Megakumas regardless gave her family a new set of charms. In "Destruction", like everyone else as Ladybug, she continues to receive their support.

Gina Bianchi

Marinette hugs her grandmother.

Marinette loves her grandmother, but because she rarely sees her, she tries her best to please her when she visits, like pretending to like the candies that Gina gives to her. Gina's view of Marinette as a younger girl is exasperating to her, but she feels bad when she realizes that she upset her grandmother by leaving her for her surprise birthday. As she later tells Gina, while pleased that she is recognizing her as having grown up, she legitimately enjoys hanging out with her, knowing anytime with them together is memorable.

In "Dearest Family", after Gina arrives at the bakery with a motorcycle for Marinette, thinking it was her birthday, both parents and grandparents enter in a big argument about the proper way to raise Marinette, with Tom believing she needs to be protected and Sabine believing her daughter is responsible enough to take her own decisions and that she only needs her mother. In "Heroes' Day", as Ladybug, she sees her grandmother offer her support in the Paris rebellion by telling her that everyone in Paris is on the side of the heroes.

Roland Dupain

Marinette brings Rolland back to the family.

Rolland is Marinette's paternal grandfather, but they have never met in person. The first contact was in "Bakerix", where she wants to give her father a special birthday present, trying to convince her grandfather to make peace with her son Tom, after a disagreement that occurred years ago. At first, their first date didn't go very well, with Rolland completely ignoring Marinette and not letting her into his house. Marinette ends up having to disguise herself as a flour delivery girl to be able to enter the house and have better communication with her grandfather, realizing that Rolland is incredibly traditionalist and hates modernity. When Rolland discovers that Marinette is his granddaughter, he is shocked at first, but then becomes outraged and angrily throws her out. After his deakumatization, he realized that he left the bread in the oven and panics because his granddaughter is there and the oven could catch fire, showing that he cares about Marinette's well-being. He ends up making peace with her and even commenting that Marinette is not a traditional granddaughter, but he likes her anyway, much to Marinette's delight. In the end, Marinette gets her grandfather to make peace with his son Tom.

In "Simpleman", Marinette leaves the children she babysat (Manon, Chris and the Césaire twins) in the care of her grandfather, while he goes to help Adrien with his costume. Upon returning, she reflects on how difficult simplicity is, but is surprised to see her grandfather having fun with the not-so-simple, but "complex" cartoon that the children were watching.

In "Dearest Family" Rolland was against the idea of ​​giving Marinette a motorcycle and began to fight with the relatives over what was best for Marinette. During his second akumatization as Bakerix, he was determined to raise Marinette with the rules and discipline he believed she needed. When he is deakumatized he apologizes as does the rest of the family.

Rolland doesn't seem to care much about French superheroes, and is unaware that Ladybug is his granddaughter. But in "Simpleman" he seems to get excited about superheroes while watching the cartoon with the children and his granddaughter.

Wang Cheng

Marinette can't communicate very well with her great-uncle.

Marinette meets her great-uncle before the World's Greatest Chef contest. She tries to use a Chinese pronunciation app to help communicate with Wang Cheng, but fails after some errors. Still, she treats him with kindness and hospitality. She gives him a bouquet of flowers, which he uses in the soup, but ends up being sabotaged by Chloé, causing him to lose the contest, which got him to be akumatized, As Ladybug she did all she could to save him, after saving Chloé, she complains that Ladybug took too long to rescue her and threatens to tell everyone. Ladybug roughly drops her with a sarcastic "Oops!" as payback for sabotaging the Celestial soup and getting her great uncle akumatized.

After the battle, he remakes the soup, naming it after his great-niece.

In "Miraculous Shanghai", Marinette goes to Shanghai to visit her great-uncle for his 60th birthday and discovery that he has learned some of his great-niece's language to communicate with her better. On the way to Wang Cheng's restaurant, he tells him a few things about the Cheng family. He also introduces her to Bastille, the Cheng family parrot, and reveals some family photos to her. He decides to prepare food for his great-niece, to which Marinette responds that she would like to go for a walk alone, though fearing for her safety, Wang reluctantly agrees. Marinette ends up getting lost and not returning to the restaurant, to the consternation of her great-uncle who notifies the local authorities about her disappearance. In the end, Marinette celebrates her great-uncle's birthday and gives him the birthday gift Sabine sent her. Reflecting some things about her trip, she says she is grateful to have an incredible uncle.

Wang Cheng seemed unaware of Ladybug's existence before her trip to France for the cooking competition and is also unaware that she is actually her great-niece. In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Wang's help in defeating the Miraculized army.

Shu Yin Cheng

From what is implied, due to Shu Yin's unpleasant personality, Marinette appears to dislike her maternal aunt, not wanting to visit her. During their visit to their aunt in London, Marinette and Tom played some pranks on Shu Yin, such as locking her in the Tower of London.

Romances

Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir

Marinette first meets Adrien as their alter egos in "Ladybug & Cat Noir". She occasionally gets frustrated with him, like when he carelessly uses his Cataclysm, but likes him as a partner and works well with him. In "Stoneheart" when she admits her mistake for not purifying the akuma the first time, she is both surprised and grateful for Cat Noir's encouragement. After saving the day, she doesn't react to his flirting and bids him farewell.

In the same episodes, she first hears about Adrien from Chloé, but doesn't know who he is. The next day, she meets him at school, but quickly becomes disgusted with him thinking he put a piece of gum on her chair, unaware that Chloé had placed it there and he was simply trying to remove it. She recognized him as the son of Gabriel Agreste, her favorite fashion designer, but it didn't change her opinion of him. After school the following day, though, he finds her stuck at the school's entrance because of the rain. He explained the situation with the gum and gives her his umbrella. She then realizes he is nothing like Chloé seeing his gentle, caring side and befriends him.

After that, Marinette develops a "secret" crush on Adrien. Decorating her room walls and several photo frames with pictures of him from various magazines. She often daydreams about him and longs to win his heart, but her awkwardness around him makes it a great challenge for her. However, Marinette has prioritized Adrien's happiness over her own. On his birthday in "The Bubbler", she accepts the fact that he thinks her gift is from his father because he is so pleased to receive such a wonderful gift from him. During "Dark Cupid", Marinette finds Adrien's love poem written for her alter ego and decides to write her own, admitting her true feelings for him but, she forgets to sign it. Gradually, in later episodes, such as "Kung Food" and "Gamer", Marinette became more comfortable and confident around him, speaking normally with him and express herself. But still freezes up around him often, while building their friendship and still having feelings for him, including moments like dancing with him in "Despair Bear" at Chloé's party. In "Gorizilla", she helped him hide from a fan mob and spent some time with him at the movies. In "Troublemaker", Marinette freaks out thinking Adrien is going to know about her crush on him after her multiple pictures of him are shown on live TV. When confronted by Adrien about it the next day, she explains that she is merely a fan who's into fashion and is relieved that he is used to fans having pictures of him. Accepting his offer to go to his next photoshoot. She also briefly spent time with Adrien in "Frightningale" as they posed as their alter egos for Clara Nightingale's video.

Marinette still communicates with him in "Anansi", even when his unable to hang out with their friends due to his father. During "Queen's Battle", she is encouraged by Adrien to be proud about her derby hat design. In "Malediktator", when Marinette happily told Adrien that Chloé was leaving for New York, she is disappointed that he isn't celebrating. Hearing that Chloé was his only friend growing up and expresses his belief that Chloé isn’t useless, she feels bad and later takes his words to heart.

In "Frozer", Adrien asks Marinette for her advice about romance approaches. At first, she believes that he was talking about her, but was mortified to discover that it actually was about Kagami. She unintentionally replies with going to the ice rink and offers to accompany them there. After explaining the situation to her friends, she begins to question her feelings for him. Despite this, watching them skate becomes too much for her, causing her to fall continuously. However, after Kagami told her not hesitate, she runs after Adrien asking if they could return to the ice rink. However, when he asks if it's just them, her usual awkwardness around him makes her propose taking all of their friends instead.

At a picnic after the ordeal with Scarlet Moth's army in "Mayura", Adrien calls her their everyday Ladybug and Super Marinette before leaving. This makes her realize how much she wants him to know about her feelings for him. She attempts a confession in front of the whole class, only to swallow her words and kiss his cheek instead.

Soon they get to explore the world outside of Paris, starting in "Miraculous Shanghai". Discovering that he was going there for an emergency fashion show, Marinette followed him. After the battle against Hawk Moth and YanLuoShi, they enjoyed celebrating Marinette's great-uncle Wang Cheng's 60th birthday and accepted his offer to her learn Chinese.

In "Chameleon", they briefly sit together in the back of the class. When Adrien notices her attempting to expose Lila’s lies, he tells her not to do so, as humiliating Lila wouldn't make her a better person. Though Marinette believes that Lila shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it, she takes Adrien’s advice.

During their trip to the wax museum in "The Puppeteer 2", Marinette is stressed out about being alone with Adrien. She starts to admit her feelings at first believing it was a wax figure of him but actually the "real" him and was upset by his trick. On their way home, she apologizes for overreacting and realizes that they have the same problem, but continue being friends. Marinette is somewhat upset that Adrien has a crush on another girl but doesn't give up yet.

In "Stormy Weather 2", Marinette admits that she has become close friends with Adrien and can talk to him about anything except her feelings. In "Reflekdoll", she hesitates in asking him for help with a photoshoot for her website and faints when he agrees. After the titular villain and sentimonster, are defeated, she and her friends finish the photoshoot. In "Desperada" while love-struck, she recommends that Adrien becomes Jagged's new guitarist. In "Félix" knowing that Adrien was feeling down about missing his mother, Marinette and her friends send him a video care package with her working up the courage to tell Adrien her feelings. Upon seeing him reply with a nasty message, like Nino, she, too, believes he wouldn't say those things, and after receiving a thank you message from him, she replies, "I love you, too". During "Heart Hunter (The Battle of the Miraculous - Part 1)", Marinette spends time with him and Kagami at the Borgeuois wedding anniversary. Seeing Adrien getting along so well with Kagami, she gives up her romantic pursuit of him so he can be happy. After Hawk Moth's and Chloé's respective defeats, she enjoys ice cream with him and their friends.

Following these events in "Miraculous New York", Marinette tries just being friends with Adrien. Starting by removing her posters and stopped taking pictures of him. When she finds out that he isn't coming with them to New York, she convinces his father to let him. However, she is unable keep her cool around him despite that, they enjoy a couple of romantic moments together, such as watching the sunset and when Adrien expresses his thanks for what she did. As their trip continues, her feelings for him grew stronger to where she can't deny them. After a mishap as their alter egos, Marinette sadly watches him head home. With a push from Alya, she desperately tries to get him to stay expressing her true feelings in vain. On their final day, Marinette and her class send a group photo surprise to Adrien.

Without knowing it because of fears, responsibilities, expectations and rules leading to isolation Marinette experienced what Adrien's life was like before he came to her school.

Marinette's denial over her feelings towards Adrien takes a new height in "Mr. Pigeon 72", when Alya told her that he and Kagami broke up. Instead of being happy for having a chance to win his heart, Marinette worries about Kagami believing she is suffering from a broken heart and decides to help get them back together. Refusing to listen to Kagami's claims that she is over him, Marinette keeps trying to do so during his commercial photoshoot. However, all attempts fail miserably, leading to Mr. Ramier's seventy-second akumatization. After the villain's defeat, Kagami helps Marinette realize she is the one having feelings for Adrien and that they are perfect for each other. Meeting him after that, a reflection of their first moment together happens, but this time with him acting clumsily in front of her.

With the help of Harry Clown in "Psycomedian", Marinette tried to express feelings to Adrien by being funny but seeing it not end well she fled. After Harry's deakumatization, she apologized for earlier and admitted she doesn't have a sense of humor until Adrien convinced her otherwise.

In "Queen Banana", she is still on friendly terms with him asking for his help with their class movie project. During Gabriel's party in "Gabriel Agreste", Marinette worked with her friends to help her sneak in so she could tell Adrien her feelings and in "Mega Leech", she briefly held hands with him when supporting their friends. In "Guiltrip", Marinette bumps into him while looking for Juleka and he ends up helping her finding the latter.

In "Optigami", she attends an event hosted by Audrey and continues keeping her distance from Adrien, but eventually gets stuck with him in the elevator. In the midst of calling for help, she is warned about a pair of eyes watching them.

In "Glaciator 2", witnessing Adrien sad after her conversation with Cat Noir, Marinette tries to cheer him up with a gift, but realizes she brought the wrong item and threw it away. She is then seen attending his fencing tournament. During "Wishmaker", she meets him at the Career Expo having the same problem as he is about deciding her future.

In "Hawk Moth's Last Stand", Marinette was devastated that Adrien was leaving for a several month trip around the world for his father's company but knowing he wasn't happy and felt like the only one who saw it due to her love for him. Meeting him at school, she learned the truth however under the effects of Risk, Marinette was shocked to hear him vent his true feelings about modelling and that he didn't want to leave everything and everyone. So she suggested that Adrien speak his mind to his father but seeing him lack in confidence and spoke about something holding him back. Allowed Marinette to relate they briefly hold hands together and tried to once again tell him her feelings but in vain. Knowing of his true feelings, she was determined to bring him back.

Admitting her problems to Adrien

In "Determination", during a return trip to the wax museum and when tricked by Luka and Kagami into being alone with him, Marinette admitted when Adrien tried to romantically pursue her that she was the problem messing up everything when near him. Despite that their friendship continues in "Passion", as she gave him advice about helping someone and is aware that he now has affection for her but tries not to fall for him romantically still finding it sweet.

During "Transmission", believing that her pursuit of love caused her to be a failure at everything Marinette becomes very depressed and held up in her room. When Adrien comes to talk to her and admits his feelings for her she doesn't return them but when she is freed from her hero duties and Adrien returns she takes back what she said earlier and this time accepting each others feelings as they watched their successors handle everything just fine. In "Deflagration", Marinette tries to have a lunch date with Adrien despite Chloe's interventions.

With her feelings towards Adrien blossoming even more in "Perfection", Marinette however continues to run from them about him and through Kagami she discovered why because she feared not being good enough for him. She played along with her classmates story attempts to get them together in "Protection". Feeling uncomfortable she was invited by Adrien to have a picnic with him in his parent's garden. Until it was ruined by an akumatized and convinced Kagami that she was a manipulator and Adrien rushed to her defense then once their friend was deakumatized they cleared things up. After that they takes things slow in their relationship believing they have all the time in the world and she heads home.

Despite having Adrien as a boyfriend, in "Migration", Marinette felt she couldn't be honest with him nor herself because of what she hides but with advice from Luka; she was encouraged to be patient and take her time in figuring it out.

Which came into fruition when they had their first official date at the pool in "Derision", but returning to the place of her first heartbreak made her memories return, suffer terrible panic attacks and a near akumatization. But by reexamining her past Marinette finally understood what really happened and made peace with it preventing it. Then, she goes to tell Adrien unaware that he was told her trauma story by Kim. After Kim's deakumatization, they talked about their fears of ending up being hurt and that if they were together then they control them reaching out his hand to her and she takes it briefly but retracts accepting that she isn't ready yet. And Adrien had no problem waiting for her.

In "Adoration", with help from Zoe, Marinette finally worked up the courage to tell Adrien she loved him and he felt the same just as they were about to share a kiss she found it strange that he backed away but more or less she was happy get her feelings across.

However despite their dream of being a couple finally coming true between then and "Emotion", Marinette finds it disappointing that Adrien rushed off every time they get close. She stopped following Adrien's every move being surprised that he was attending his father's Diamond Dance party and wasn't told. Then she is reminded that Adrien is free from modelling but not his father's expectations or rule. So she sneaks into the party to talk to "him" and admit her feelings but was shocked that Felix was there. Still mad over their last encounter she was furious if Adrien was hurt unknown to her that he was the first to disappear then she follows once she is restored they embrace. The next day, they shared ice cream and when he voices that his father disapproved them being together Marinette suggested having a talk with Gabriel.

During "Pretension", enough with sneaking around, Marinette comes with Adrien to talk to his father and stayed by her side until being told to leave. Despite that she stood her ground impressing him and before leaving she embraced him promising to be there for him. However at the end of their video chat unknown to her that Adrien didn't have the heart to tell her that his father is separating them as the school year ends. After all, the trouble Lila caused as Hoaxer in "Revelation", and hearing Adrien apologize about his choice not to act sooner. She replies that him seeing the kindness in others is what she loved about him and assured him they'd expose her.

Which happened in "Confrontation", when Marinette teamed up with Sabrina to expose Lila and Chloe deceitful natures in front of Adrien, their classmates and school faculty.

Once Ms. Bustier was fired by Chloe in "Collusion", they teamed up with the Resistance to work out a plan to help their former teacher and principal they do so by holding a strike when Chloe rose to power in "Revolution", however because of it they had a hard time communicating. But even with Chloé overthrown, it wasn't a time to celebrate as Marinette got a tearful message from Adrien about him being sent to London and not being worthy of her love. Despite being devastated over it, a determined Marinette chased after him to the airport, reaffirming her promise to always be there for him, and at last, they finally had their first kiss until they were forcibly separated as she watched her lover's plane took off.

Returning to the dance in "Representation", Marinette tried her best to keep a straight face about his departure, but got more than what she bargained for when she learned about Adrien's family history from Félix. She discovered that the two of them were created by the Peacock Miraculous. But despite it, all that didn't change how she felt about him.

Despite learning of Adrien's family history, in "Conformation", Marinette still had a hard time accepting everything even having nightmares about her being the reason why Adrien lost what little family he had left. So she left for his house to negotiate his freedom with Gabriel, but going there transformed was the final straw as she saw that everything from Félix's story was true. And yet, from "Re-creation", Marinette knew that Adrien has made his peace with what happened to his mother and didn't want power, or to be controlled like a puppet or be some eternal icon, let alone throw away everything and everybody to get what he wants, she still fought for his freedom. After the wish was made, honoring the last wishes, Marinette continued her relationship with him, giving him the wedding bands as well as telling him the sacrifice his father had made.

Her feelings for Adrien have caused her issues, such as an inability to stay relaxed and rational around him. She does get upset whenever he can't hang out with their friends but doesn't give up. In "Simon Says" while trying to defend everyone at the Agreste mansion, as Ladybug, Marinette briefly stammers and stutters around Adrien or when talking about him. In "Volpina", she harshly lashes out at Lila and her deceitful nature as Ladybug in front of Adrien due to being jealous that Lila is trying to get his attention. Later, when she and Cat Noir are fighting Lila's akumatized form, Volpina, she nearly gives up her Miraculous believing that Lila took him hostage and plans to drop him off the Eiffel Tower, not realizing that it's an illusion.

Thanks to her confidence as Ladybug, Marinette has become more calm and comfortable around Adrien as herself, keeping her jealously under control while trying to keep him protected in "Riposte" and "Gorizilla". She still stammers and stutters as Adrien thanks her for saving him in "Style Queen".

Right miraculous, wrong holder.

Due to her "troubled heart" in "Desperada", as Ladybug, she gave the Snake Miraculous to Adrien. As Aspik, she finds him humorous and charming. Because of the effects of the jewel's power, Ladybug was shocked when he gave up but convinced him to try again. Until she heard of his actions with the jewel and him powerless to save her; surprised he used it's power 25,913 times to do so. Soon Adrien recommends that she gives it to Luka. Before Adrien hid, Ladybug kissed him as thanks for saving her. Unknowingly, Marinette caused a huge mistake in "Cat Blanc", by delivering her gift to Adrien as her alterego and not leaving sooner. This act led him to discover her identity. To fix her mistake as Ladybug, she erases her name and told him it's from his Brazilian Fan Club instead. In "Miracle Queen", her inability to tell Adrien her feelings decreased as Ladybug, she broke her own rule and gave Kagami the Dragon Miraculous to separate them.

Partially because of it, as Ladybug, she went denial crazy and became distracted in "Gang of Secrets".

Her outburst unknowingly causing her partner's near akumatization.

However unknowingly her outburst as Ladybug in "Glaciator 2", caused Adrien to have an emotional breakdown that it nearly led to him being akumatized.

Because of that and Risk's powers, her determination turned into an obsession to bring Adrien back even using her powers as Ladybug to do so. Which backfired when she returned to find him after Strikeback's defeat, she asked Adrien for the Dog Miraculous back but when he said that she never gave him it and her yo-yo disappears. Ladybug realized she mistook him for his cousin Felix (unknown to her that he was on the train) and gave him the Dog Miraculous allowing him to steal it. She hyperventilated in panic but was calmed down and given by Adrien a place to detransform to save the jewels.

In "Multiplication", after the events of "Strikeback" and retrieving the Rabbit Miraculous. With that being it Marinette decides to give up her pursuit of Adrien as long as she's Ladybug. In "Deflagration", disguised as Ladybug, she thanked Adrien for helping her retrieve her Miraculous. During "Emotion", after being restored as Ladybug, she looked for Felix, but seeing him hounded by an angry Adrien and Kagami worried about her safety she smiled.

Then, after learning the story of Adrien's family history in "Representation", Marinette wanted to talk to Gabriel as her alter-ego to negotiate his freedom in "Conformation", leading to the final battle in "Re-creation".

Ladybug annoyed with Cat Noir.

When it comes to Cat Noir, Ladybug sees him as a worthy partner in fighting crime, caring for him greatly. Seen in the webisode "Cat Noir as seen by Marinette", believing she couldn't defeat all those akumatized villains without him.

Ladybug assures Cat Noir that he's irreplaceable.

In "Timebreaker", she is shocked and horrified when Cat Noir sacrificed himself to save her. In "Lady Wifi", after freeing him from the freezer, she held him close asking if he's okay. And was worried for him when was outnumbered by knights in "Darkblade". In "Zombizou", after he became infected by Zombizou’s minions she refused to leave him behind. Then due to being reversed into a complete coward in "Reverser", she stayed by his side giving him comfort and confidence. She assures him that he's irreplaceable in "Anansi", when asked about it with Carapace. During "Style Queen", she was shocked when told by Plagg that he lost his ring, and after the villain's defeat, she hopes Cat Noir will find his Miraculous.

During the battle in "Miraculous Shanghai" when Hawk Moth akumatized the guardian Mei Shi, Ladybug told him to wait on using his powers on him. When it resulted in his temporary death, she cried, but increased her determination. After his revival she happily embraced him.

Helping her injured partner to his feet.

In "Miraculer", after Ladybug saw that Cat Noir got hurt by his own powers, she promised to heal him. As his injury took its toll on him, she rushed to his side. In "Gamer 2.0", when Ladybug had to fight him to get to Gamer and free everyone, she was horrified that Cat Noir eliminated himself so she could move on. During "Ladybug", as both sides were at a stalemate, she chose to save him after he is thrown off the building by Hawk Moth, valuing his life more than getting her enemies' Miraculouses. In an Instagram photo, cared for Cat Noir when he got sick.

She showed great concern when he got feathered in "Mr. Pigeon 72". When affected by the titular sentimonster's bubbles in "Guiltrip", she stopped Cat Noir from using Cataclysm on himself. To help him fight against his negativity, she told him, even though not enough, he is the greatest partner she could ask for and that things would be boring without him. During "Sentibubbler", she worried for Cat Noir again when she warned him of Shadow Moth's incoming attack and was used for ransom.

After dealing with Moolak and Su-Han's dilemma in "Ephemeral", her attachment to Cat Noir, is so strong where she refuses to have him replaced even at the cost of discovering his identity. Ladybug's care for him became so great she called him her favorite partner and kissed him on the cheek in "Risk".

After waking up from their shared dream in "Jubilation", Ladybug was worried about Cat Noir when he attacked the Darker Owl so aggressively and gave him a warning shout seeing him attempting to use his powers on the titular villain in rage.

While he constantly flirts with her, Ladybug mostly sidesteps his romantic gestures and often gets annoyed with him if the moment is inappropriate (like when they're fighting a villain), though she does display a little bit of affection towards him occasionally. During "Animan", she compliments Cat Noir by scratching his chin for thinking ahead. In "Antibug" and "Gigantitan", complimenting his cleverness in dealing with the titular villain. Sometimes after patrols, she enjoys hanging out and taking photos with him, seen in Alya's Instagram photos. Despite their teasing relationship, they are a great team; having a lot of faith and trust in the other, greatly support the other, are willing to risk their lives for their partner, and assure each other when doubtful. In "The Collector", seeing him distressed about the possibility of Gabriel Agreste being Hawk Moth, Ladybug stays with him to the end. She trusts him not to look when they detransform in "The Dark Owl". Then in "Gorizilla", she trusts Cat Noir to arrive when she needs him. She knows that he wants to know her secret identity but thinks it is better if no one knows for the sake of protecting humanity and each other, at least until Hawk Moth is defeated, said in "Troublemaker".

Ladybug feels bad about keeping secrets from Cat Noir.

In "Syren" when Cat Noir expresses frustration at Ladybug for keeping secrets, she felt bad, telling him that it's not easy for her and promises him that he'll know everything when the time is right and is at ease when Wang Fu takes care of it. In "Sandboy" when she sees that his nightmare is an evil version of herself and worriedly asks him if he really thinks she’s as awful as his nightmare, Cat Noir assures her the opposite, calling her the girl of his dreams, which made Ladybug smile brightly.

During "Heroes' Day" when expressing doubt about how to defeat Hawk Moth, she is encouraged by Cat Noir to keep fighting to keep hope alive despite being outnumbered. Due to her closeness to him, she has become more comfortable around him, asking for his advice on personal things, as seen in "Gamer 2.0", "The Puppeteer 2" and "Wishmaker".

The ultimate moment of Ladybug's trust in Cat Noir was when she entrusted him to look after Paris while she was in New York for the French-American Friendship Week. However, when she found out that he was there, too, she was angry that he left their home unguarded and wasn't sure she could trust him during their fight against Technolizer. This led to Cat Noir accidentally using his powers on Uncanny Valley, leaving the young heroes horrified. Despite repairing her, they were scolded by Knightowl about the consequences of their actions.

Being told to keep faith in herself by her partner.

In "Furious Fu", expressing doubt about their inability to defeat Shadow Moth, Cat Noir reminded her despite being kids about Master Fu's trust and faith in them when he gave them their jewels and him feeling the same only relinquishing his ring to her seeing Ladybug as the real guardian. She was sad that she missed a chance to end Shadow Moth in "Sentibubbler", but was assured by her partner she did right thing by saving Alya's loved ones and him.

In "Evolution", after Monarch stole the Miraculouses and hastily used the Rabbit Miraculous to steal their jewels in the past. To stop him but not make the same mistake again after Bunnyx's version of the watch is safe Ladybug trusted it to Cat Noir remembering that they are a team. After the plan had failed both were down on themselves in "Miraculous Paris", especially Ladybug regardless she still had Cat Noir's support even if she didn't have faith in herself. Realizing the damage holding secrets did as Ladybug, Marinette became even more trustful and open with him even admitting her feelings towards him in "Determination" and the power of her kwagatama in "Reunion". After Cat Noir tells her the situation in "Passion" and they become Lady Noire and Mister Bug again, she followed his lead in defeating Safari.

Another degree of trust came between them in "The Last Day", when Cat Noir trusted her with his Miraculous as he was incapacitated.

Ladybug as Lady Noir.

Even though she gets annoyed with Cat Noir's jokes and humor at times, she finds it useful, like when trying to figure out her lucky charms in various episodes or when figuring out a way to defeat the villain in "Silencer". In "Reflekdoll", she experiences what it's like to be Cat Noir as Lady Noir when their miraculouses get swapped. Teaching her partner about being more cautious, observant and using his head with her powers. She also became more humorous, stealing his lines. After the titular villain's and sentimonster's defeat, she had a better understanding of Cat Noir and his humor. When under the effects of Lighteye in "Truth", she actually admired him for his courage, confidence and especially his humor.

During the series, Ladybug had to keep an eye on him at times, stopping Cat Noir from doing hasty things like a cautious older sibling, sometimes saving him from Hawk Moth's villains, Mayura and their deception, especially in "Ladybug", "Jubilation" and "Derision". Most of the time she is calm and confident around Cat Noir, rarely breaking down in the front of him, she did in "The Battle of the Miraculous", where her greatest mistake yet led to Hawk Moth kidnapping their friends, Master Fu and obtaining the Miracle Box. Even calling herself "the worst Ladybug ever" but is comforted by him, being reminded that everyone makes mistakes and to focus on saving everyone. Touched she hugs him, grateful to always have him by her side, even when she was affected by Hawk Moth's taunting.

Thankful to have him.

Despite their loving relationship in the alternate future of "Cat Blanc", it doesn't affect their teamwork. They manage to corner Hawk Moth, but upon discovering his identity and reason for his actions, she was shocked to see Cat Noir use his powers angrily against his father. Aware of the price, she reminded him of the consequences of using such power but is horrified to see him akumatized. Still, she encourages him to fight his father's influence but with him so hurt and confused, she felt great sorrow for her partner as she is cataclysmed.

As the current Ladybug enters the future, she was surprised to see Cat Noir acting strange, aggressive and trying to take her earrings. After he explains, she realized that he was akumatized, she tried to reason with him and search for his akuma, but he doesn't make it easy and was shocked that he knew her identity. With his anger reach a critical point, she pretends to surrender knowing he'll always be Cat Noir to her, and with his guard down, she deakumatizes him. But is disappointed that he still knew who she is and how pointless it is for her to use her restoration powers. When Bunnyx returns, Ladybug shares a quick hug with him promising to fix everything before leaving. Due to changing the past, these events were erased. After all that, they share a peaceful moment.

Happy to be reunited.

During their adventures in New York, still reeling from the sadness and shock of what happened to Uncanny Valley, Ladybug was devastated to discover that Paris is wrecked and there was nothing she could do. Hearing Cat Noir take full responsibility for everything, she was tearfully shocked when he renounced his ring and left. When the trouble in New York escalated, Marinette hesitated, believing she couldn't be her alter ego without him. Seeing him return, she embraced her partner happily, scolded him, and wiped away tears of joy while he promised to be more honest with her.

Under the effects of the titular villain's sentimonster in "Truth", she finds out that Cat Noir is fine with her being the guardian. When affected by "Psycomedian", she becomes aggressive towards him needing to be watched but she still managed to work with him.

By gathering more allies, being haunted by Cat Blanc, Su-Han's strictness and Hawk Moth's obsession. Ladybug kept her distance from Cat Noir to protect him such as not trusting him to help with her guardian duties and more.

Blaming herself for how she treated Cat Noir.

However Ladybug realized her treatment of him was wrong starting in "Kuro Neko", being reminded of his sensitive side as her actions made him feel left out and leave. Then, she hastily tried to pick a new Cat holder but found it impossible. Despite having and being cordial with Cat Walker she couldn't get Cat Noir out of her mind. At first, hastily believing he was akumatized hurt over renouncing his ring and being replaced. Not wanting to repeat herself she tried to include Cat Walker but it didn't go so well. Accepting it was a sentimonster, she berated herself for not understanding him or doing nothing when he left calling herself "the worst guardian ever".

But was comforted by him believing that Cat Noir was being too sensitive and because of it he shouldn't have forced her to give him attention and reminded as the leader that she takes care of everyone and he was here for her. However, she realized Cat Walker was the problem being "too perfect" and distracting her, she apologized for excluding him but was surprised that he wasn't upset being aware of the mission. After the sentimonster's defeat, they reunite but understood that Cat Noir is her true partner. With a chance to talk she accepted his apology about earlier nudging his shoulder, telling him even though she doesn't always need him doesn't mean she never goes reminding him about being irreplaceable.

Then, it's full extent in "Shadow Moth's Final Attack", when they argued during a fight against the titular villain and sentimonster. Cat Noir berates her about not trusting him with anything until Ladybug retorts saying she was afraid of him being akumatized to which he felt awestruck saying he never be but she says otherwise. Devastated by her distrust in him and attempts to control everything about the Miraculous, Ladybug broke down crying on a rooftop over the lost until Cat Noir arrives she tearfully wanted him to abandon her for being the worse guardian ever and her behavior towards him. But, was surprised he refused and comforts her, always remaining by her side and so were the people's support embracing him promising that they'll get all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses back one by one encouraging her to continue fighting.

Thankful for Cat Noir's support

In "Evolution", she thanked him for his continuous support despite her failure. After noticing Monarch hastily use all the jewels especially the Rabbit. Ladybug was distressed at their inability to track their nemesis through time until Rabbit Noir calmed and told her to slow down. With only Fluff saved, Monarch gets away with others leaving her more distraught with Cat Noir assuring her that they will save them causing her to smile at him.

As a precaution in "Destruction", she told Cat Noir of a plan to retrieve the kwamis if they were stolen or missing. So she asked him to keep a message in his bell saying "halfwit" at first he was offended until she clarified it was for Shadow Moth. But the plan ended with no kwamis freed and just like their adventures in New York no damage repaired either with Monarch as the first victim unaware that her partner cataclysmed her boyfriend's father.

With the team depowered in "Determination", and traumatized by the events she still receives Cat Noir's support with him being left Ladybug sees him in a new light. Now the tables have flipped and she takes after his flirty behavior with it coming at the wrong time in "Passion" so much so that it left her paralyzed. After becoming de-paralyzed by detransforming in the sewers, she was shocked that her earrings were gone but was relieved that Cat Noir had them informing her about their situation with the magic bolts marking them if they retransform. So they swap Miraculouses again but before they do, she hears Cat Noir express his desire to use the Ultimate power to fix everything but she sadly recites their former master's words and thanks him when he only agrees to the swap. She continues her flirty manner even asking herself what's wrong with her and when Nathalie was deakumatized they switch back.

After their latest mission in "Elation", a lovesick Ladybug planned a victory date for them despite Cat Noir finding it sweet they didn't have time. Aware of what she was trying to do thinking it was a test he said that they were partners and friends reminding her the less they know the better following up Ladybug admits that he passed. During Glaciator's fourth rampage when she asked Cat Noir if his feelings towards her has changed and that he was in love with Marinette, the hero was unsure agreeing it was complicated but nonetheless they continue remaining friends.

With a close call in "Deflagration", together at their annual rooftop despite Ladybug and Cat Noir discovering that Monarch reforged the jewels they also found out that they are the only ones who can defeat him. And yet, today they also realized that they weren't the only ones who fought against him praising the resistance and their kwamis for their bravery.

Resuming their hero duties in "Perfection", Ladybug is happy to hear that Cat Noir has a girlfriend and expresses the same in having a boyfriend agreeing that it remains secret and they're happy they can talk about it freely as friends.

After Dark Humor's deakumatizion in "Derision", Cat Noir apologized for his behavior but Ladybug didn't take it too hard as if one of them becomes lost then the other will always be there to bring them back.

They continue their friendship always talking to each other on the rooftops in "Intuition", as they both found it strange that Monarch hadn't used the Snake Miraculous yet but counted their blessings he hadn't.

From "Confrontation", after revealing Chloe's and Lila's deception, sharing another rooftop moment she was informed by Cat Noir of the true power of her magical charm.

After Chloe's rise to power and tyranny in "Revolution", she was encouraged by him to fight against her sooner but didn't want to throw away their moral code. However she find out that Cat Noir was right by waiting too long it was already too late for them to do anything about it and ended with them trapped in cages and detransforming believing this to be it they did one final "pound it" knowing it was an honor to fight alongside him but seeing Paris' people stand up and fight she and Cat Noir retaliated by back by unlocking their powers. And yet, due to the duo not knowing each other's identities, Ladybug wasn't only separated from her lover but partner as well.

Fully realizing it in the "Last Day", when she was brought his ring by Plagg knowing she have to fight for both boys freedom. After Monarch's defeat, wish, reclaiming the jewels back, Ladybug sent her partner's ring back to him and was happy to be reunited with him unaware that due to her boyfriend and partner being the same person that Cat Noir was sentimonster too.

Marinette annoyed with Cat Noir.

In "The Evillustrator" when Cat Noir arrives to discuss stopping the villain with Marinette, he introduces himself in a flirty manner, and she mocks him by "mouthing" words with her hands as he shows off. She does smile and giggle to herself after he leaves. In the webisode "Cat Noir as seen by Marinette", Marinette says that she might see Cat Noir differently if Adrien did not exist, though she immediately dismisses it because she doesn't want to think of a world without Adrien, unaware that he and Cat Noir are the same person. She is aware that he has a crush on her. Before transforming in "Befana", he comes to take her somewhere safe, commenting on how she must be a nice girl to have such loyal friends and wishes her a happy birthday (although he already did earlier, but as Adrien). During "Glaciator" after they both discuss their issues in their romantic endeavors, Marinette notices Cat Noir's affectionate and sensitive side; realizing that his feelings for Ladybug are genuine. However, she doesn't want to disappoint him nor play with his feelings, she earnestly tells him as Ladybug that she views him as more than just her partner but as a close friend. Subsequently, she sympathetically declines his romantic endeavors as it would interfere with their superhero obligations. Also telling him that she has her heart set on someone else but won't say who he is, as revealing personal information about each other would cause problems to their personal lives.

Marinette and Cat Noir talk about their love problems.

After Ladybug makes him understand why keeping certain secrets are important, Cat Noir agrees with her and accepts her friendship. He kisses her on the cheek as a sign of amiability, making her become somewhat flushed as she accepts his rose.

Ladybug sadly rejects Cat Noir, reminding him that she loves someone else.

In "Frozer", she sadly rejects Cat Noir's romantic advances on her, reminding him she is in love with someone else. When they meet again, she sees that he is still angry about earlier, but they still manage to come together as a team, despite having different ideas.

In "Miraculous Shanghai", when Ladybug found out that Hawk Moth was in Shanghai, she instantly called Cat Noir only to find that he was already here and looking for her alter ego, which she finds sweet.

During "Weredad" when Marinette hastily believes that Cat Noir discovered her identity, she told the hero of loving him to dissuade him, even though she knew that he was in love with her alter ego to the point of being determined and stubborn. They spend a breakfast date together set up by her father, but when he admits his love for Ladybug, she pretends to be sad (but was actually happy). After Tom’s akumatization, Marinette assures Cat Noir that she isn’t heartbroken, and the two decide to be friends.

Marinette briefly discovers that Adrien is Cat Noir in "Oblivio" after the duo has their memories erased. However, after the villain is defeated and Ladybug uses Miraculous Ladybug, this knowledge is erased from her mind.

Due to Tikki and Plagg being seen by Mrs. Mendeleiev at school in "Kwamibuster", Marinette suspects that Cat Noir must be one of the boys at her school and is more surprised that they might know each others' civilian forms. As Multimouse, she works with him to rescue their kwamis, temporarily receiving his ring, and with the power of Mirage, she convinced her partner that her alter ego is someone else. After the titular villain's defeat, she was led to believe that Cat Noir does not attend the school.

Discovering her boyfriend is her partner.

In the alternate future in "Cat Blanc" after Marinette delivers her gift, she is approached by him, and noticing that Adrien has the same feelings, share a kiss, become an official couple and have a happy life together but, thanks to Gabriel's manipulation, she tearfully breaks up with him. Hearing his warning shout, she finds out Cat Noir's identity and that he knew hers. With that, they embrace with a promise that things will be better. Due to Ladybug fixing her mistake, the future of their relationship is erased.

However, in "Sentibubbler", despite changing the future she still has nightmares of him as Cat Blanc. Implying that him discovering her identity caused his akumatization but actually it was Gabriel's doing. And yet, seeing him head to Alya's house she includes him on Rena's plan by telling him that she saw everything from above.

In "Hack-San", returning from London, Marinette, following Alya's advice, goes to meet Cat Noir. As Ladybug, she apologized for not telling him about lending her Miraculous to another, thinking she hurt his feelings. But the hero confessed he was upset at the fact of him of not seeing her again if she stopped being Ladybug, but she promised that she would never abandon him.

Talking about their love endeavors.

With Cat Noir's flirting and them being called a couple by everyone during another fight with Glaciator. Fed up, after titular villain's first defeat, she angrily told him again that they aren't a couple. Getting the message, Ladybug learns that his love impulses are hard to control but when Cat Noir says he'll stop she was confident he could. In her own love endeavors after taking Kagami's advice about practicing with a partner Marinette asked him if he could role-play her lover doing so she admitted that "he" goes under the alias Buttercup. When they switch places and hearing his attempt she believes it isn't working. Relaxing at the movie theater Marinette admits having a hard time with guys is because with important ones she worries about messing up then spirals into fantasies hiding herself.

When Cat Noir admits having the opposite problem with finding her alterego so amazing that he's afraid of disappointing and being hated by Ladybug but Marinette retorts she doesn't. Returning home, they rehearsed again but were interrupted by Glaciator, transforming back into her alterego she sees Cat Noir trying hard to improve but was still fine with him calling her "M'Lady". After André is deakumatized, she praised her partner's effort, once again home she tried again; speaking from the heart he found her speech beautiful and they wished each other luck in their love endeavors.

Discovering her partner is her lover "again".

After Su-Han's forcefulness in "Ephemeral", as Ladybug, Marinette convinced Cat Noir to reveal himself. At first, she laughed hearing that he's Adrien Agreste but was shocked when he detransformed. When it was her turn she hesitated and fled then had a hard time accepting both as the same person. Until receiving advice, Ladybug gained the courage to reveal herself; at first she thought he was disappointed but hearing Adrien accept her completely she embraced him. But like "Cat Blanc", their relationship didn't last because they accidentally revealed themselves to their archenemy. At the cinema she was shocked that Adrien was akumatized and that Shadow Moth had his ring despite that she tried to call for him. With little time left thanks to a lucky charm and Sass' power the reality was erased.

In "Kuro Neko" after Cat Noir leaves and in her inability to pick a new holder she angrily asked a picture of him out of the girls why did he love her.

As Ladybug in "Jubilation", through the power of Gift, Marinette's greatest desire, was after getting all the Miraculous back from Monarch she begins a romantic relationship with him finally becoming a couple. At their wedding both were dressed in white implying that just like their identities she finally told Cat her complete fear of his akumatization but instead it symbolized their freedom. Further in their dream they have a family but hearing and seeing alarm clocks everywhere, she tearfully realized that it wasn't real. Cat Noir was devastated as they finally had everything they desired and didn't want to lose it and she agreed; sharing a tearful kiss as they woke up. Afterwards at their usual rooftop spot, they both agreed that their dream was crazy.

After their latest escapade in "Determination", Marinette tearfully begins to develop feelings for Cat Noir. In second her escapade as Lady Noire, she found him amazing as Mister Bug even more so with herself as she didn't stutter around him becoming more relaxed and open with him.

Marinette finally receives her answer about romantic possibilities with Cat Noir in "Reunion", but it's bittersweet as they can be together but may have to surrender their Miraculouses.

A lovesick Marinette and Cat Noir cross paths again on her balcony in "Elation", as they couldn't stop thinking about each other and overwhelmed with love they go out for ice cream but the moment is short lived when her crush is revealed by Andre to him which she confirms. Once alone they agreed that their romantic pursuit of each other brought out the worst in them. When Marinette mentioned that he still had his fans the hero remained unsure believing they wouldn't be there if he was unmasked but retorted that she would and soon they exchanged kisses turning into a passionate one.

However when Cat Noir realized he couldn't love her back, tired of her love failures and lonely Marinette sadly breaks down about her inability to love anyone and was nearly akumatized by Monarch. Despite the hero encouraging her to fight his influence she nearly gave in until he kissed her again that made things more awkward but realized a relationship between them wouldn't work. And with Glaciator on the rampage she was hidden somewhere safe and after Andre's deakumatization they reunite on the balcony and apologized to each other but Cat Noir didn't take it too hard as he understood for someone mistaking idolization for love and yet agreed that Marinette had the desire to love whom ever she wanted with them bidding each other goodnight.

Ladybug found it strange that Cat Noir was being so aggressive against the titular villain in "Derision", unknown to her, he was trying to avenge her alterego. She helps him deakumatize Lila in "Revelation", by convincing her to release the akuma.

In "Representation", Marinette didn't know that Adrien returned to Paris as his alter ego to look for her as well as tell her his identity so they could be together and that she left him to fight to an akumatized villain on his own. As Ladybug, Marinette found an akuma in a jar and message from her partner that even if they were apart they were still a team.

After finding out as Ladybug, that Felix's story and her suspicions from "The Collector", were true. Marinette's nightmares about her akumatized partner in "Cat Blanc" made more sense. As their love didn't destroy the world and what she thought before was totally wrong. And yet, it wasn't confirmed or denied if Marinette used this information to figure out that Cat Noir was her boyfriend.

Luka Couffaine/Viperion

Marinette listens to Luka playing the guitar.

Marinette and Luka first meet in "Captain Hardrock". At first, Marinette is startled by him and stutters when she speaks to him, but warms up to him as she listens to him play the guitar. She also spends time with him at the ice rink in "Frozer". She gives him a thank you kiss for his support and is encouraged by him to talk with Adrien.

In "Silencer", she works with Luka to promote their band and comes across Bob Roth looking for new talent. While working on a music video, Marinette can't help but blush every time he looks at her. When the band discovers that Bob has stolen their ideas to give to XY, she and Luka sneak into the TVi studio and confront Bob and XY. Eventually, after Bob threatens Marinette, Luka gets akumatized into Silencer, much to her shock. When he says that justice will be restore, Marinette tells him that he's doing the opposite, but Silencer doesn't listen. However, she is shocked when he makes a declaration of love towards her before taking off. After Silencer's defeat, Marinette asks Luka if he really meant what he said when akumatized. Though he doesn't remember, he makes another declaration using the exact words he said as Silencer, causing Marinette to blush.

In "Desperada" she spends more time with Luka as he teaches her how to play his guitar. Her lessons with him continue in an Instagram page.

During "The Battle of the Miraculous", she comes across Luka again, who informs her that he is working on "matching her song" and easily accepts his offer for a ride to Le Grand Paris Hotel. Upon meeting him again, due to her terrible mistake as Ladybug, Marinette breaks down in front him, crying that she can't be herself around anyone. She is comforted by Luka saying that she could be herself around him as well as talking to him about anything. Then, she is saved by Luka, who takes a sting from Miracle Queen's hornets for her, and after the villain's defeat, Marinette sits next to Luka along with the rest of her friends at Seine listening to his song.

During their New York adventures, she asks Luka for a ride to catch her bus, Luka commented to her that this trip could give her clarity.

In "Truth", it's revealed that Marinette and Luka are dating. However, because of her double duty as both Ladybug and the Miraculous Guardian, she ends up interrupting their dates multiple times, leaving him upset. After a concert of Kitty Section that Marinette barely is able to attend to, Luka asks her to tell him her secret, whatever it is. But replies that the truth is the only thing she can't tell him, Luka gets vulnerable to akumatization and amokization from Shadow Moth. However, his love for Marinette and his conviction for patience at first made Luka resist him. Nevertheless, eventually, Luka is akuamtized, but not before telling Marinette to run. After being deakumatized, Luka and Marinette have a talk, where she tells him it's for the best they break up as she doesn't want to lie to him. Luka reacts by giving her a hug and telling her he will be there when she is ready. Marinette's breakup with Luka is the catalyst of her emotional breakdown in "Gang of Secrets".

During "Crocoduel", Marinette has been avoiding Luka as much as possible since their breakup, not going to Kitty Section's performances anymore, which left him very sad. Alya and the others make a plan to save their friendship, deciding to have his and Juleka's birthday party on the boat. To escape, Marinette, tries to convince Juleka to not make Luka come to the party. To her surprise, she finds him there, as Juleka was not able to tell him, taking refuge in the cabinet. After Anarka and Jagged are deakumatized, Marinette and Luka have a sincere talk and they are able to make up and continue to be friends.

She spends time with him and Adrien during the Career expo in "Wishmaker", and takes his advice about what to do for the future.

Her confused state doesn't get past Luka when she is asked out on a date by Adrien in "Determination", Marinette admits to him that she can't be in love with him because when she is everything gets messed up describing a past incident. Explaining despite being school mates with Adrien she hasn't made any real progress even feeling uncomfortable but Luka calmly mentioned that she was in the step of transitioning between what's real and fake. But refusing to go alone she asked him to come with her but Marinette was tricked by him and Kagami into being alone in the wax museum with Adrien so that she can admit her feelings.

Marinette like everyone else always came to Luka for advice like in "Migration" for her it's about opening up to herself and Adrien. But upon talking to Luka, Marinette believed she was being cruel because of how they use to be together and yet was told she wasn't and shouldn't be too hard on herself with that insight she hugged him in thanks. However she didn't like it when Luka was tricked by Bob into signing a contract just to fulfill the producer's endless greed and led to his near akumatization as well as being shocked that Luka smashed his prized guitar to stop it.

Ladybug and Cat Noir meet Viperion.

As Ladybug in "Captain Hardrock", she blushes at Luka's compliment about her alter ego being very brave. In "Desperada", she gives him a light scolding but thanks him for saving her. When Adrien believed he wasn't the right choice for the Snake Miraculous, following his recommendation, she gives the miraculous to Luka.

Like Cat Noir, she works well with his alter ego, Viperion, and is open to his ideas and suggestions as well as in "Party Crasher". When he is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save him.

Aware of Wishmaker's abilities as Ladybug, she calls on Luka to become Viperion again to use his power to prevent Hawk Moth from discovering either her's and Cat Noir's identities. But in the scuffle unknown to her he discovered her identity but decided to keep the secret to himself.

Because of Su-Han's ultamine in "Ephemeral", Ladybug called on Viperion to help her discover Cat Noir's identity but informing about the identity rules after the information was relayed to him, he was suppose to use his Second Chance to make her forget. And yet, when the plan commenced Ladybug didn't follow through and when he asked her why she said she wanted to know what was going to happen next. But seeing Marinette confused after discovering her partner's identity she received insight from Luka about looking at him in a new way however it didn't last it. As the events of "Cat Blanc" happened again with little time she made a call to Luka telling him to find Sass and activate his power in doing so the timeline was erased.

In "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", after the battle with Strikeback like the other team members Ladybug made him inactive when she lost the Snake Miraculous.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Viperion is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses him.

In "Migration", as everyone else was hiding from Gold Record, Marinette was separated from the others, after transforming, the heroine had a plan to stop the villain but needed his help. Despite agreeing when Luka emphasized the risks it made Ladybug realize that he really did know her and Cat Noir's identities, to her shock, believing she made a mistake until he told her otherwise. However despite deakumatizing Bob, she heard Luka make his choice to leave to Paris to protect the heroes even though she doesn't agree with his decision Marinette respects it sharing a group hug with him and their friends.

Unknown to her in "Re-creation", to further help her Luka had joined the Order of the Guardians and after Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Sass and his miraculous back to Luka on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Lê Chiến Kim/King Monkey

Marinette and Kim are friends, having known each other since at least the previous year of school. In "Animan", he asks her if she'd like to join him and Max at the zoo, but she politely declines since she came with Alya and is waiting for Nino and Adrien. He is surprised at her skills in "Gamer", as she was able to beat Max's score. She also encourages him to give his crush his gift in "Dark Cupid", which he appreciates, although she is unaware his crush is Chloé.

She shows great concern for him whenever he is in danger, such as in "Befana" when he gets turned into a coal statue after sacrificing himself to save her, or in "Syren" when he is taken away by the titular villain.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Kim and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

From "Derision", before Adrien, Marinette had a crush on Kim the year before treating him similar to Adrien. However when she thought she knew him well enough, she popped the question to him about being a couple but unknown to her thanks to Kim listening to Chloe, she was traumatized by him with a prank that left her heartbroken setting Marinette on her path of caution so she doesn't end up hurt again. Because of Kim, the trauma was still there but by reexamining the past and making peace with it she forgave him and accepted his apology after his deakumatization.

Like everyone else in "Revelation", through the alliance ring was tricked by Hoaxer.

In "Revolution", Kim was indirectly mentioned when Marinette confront Chloé, most likely getting justice for him for getting rejected by her and being forced to part of her plan of humiliated her last year.

In "Party Crasher", Ladybug meets Kim's alter ego King Monkey after she and the other heroes are set free and work well together defeating the party villain. However, it is currently unknown if Ladybug knows King Monkey's identity. When he is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save him. Like the other team members Ladybug continues to call on him for various missions until she loses the Monkey Miraculous making him inactive.

In "Multiplication", with her permission as her alterego through Alix's father he was informed about Alix's fate as Bunnyx. In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and King Monkey is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her in "Determination" reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses him.

While fighting Monarch, as a disguised and depowered Ladybug, she was surprised to see Kim come to her defense along with the other Resistance members and after both heroes jewels have been retrieved she thanked him and the Resistance for their help in "Deflagration".

In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Kim's help in defeating the Miraculized army. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Xuppu and his miraculous back to Kim on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Friends/Allies

Tikki

Meeting for Tikki the first time.

Marinette's kwami, Tikki, allows her to transform into Ladybug. When they meet for the first time in "Ladybug & Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)", she is terrified, thinking Tikki is a "bug-mouse" throwing several things at her, trying to scare her off. Eventually, Marinette listens to Tikki's information and reluctantly transforms with her for the first time. After defeating Stone heart, she learns that she failed to purify the Akuma and made the situation worse, and despite Tikki encouraging her to keep going, Marinette apologized to her and puts her away with the Miraculous. It isn't until Stoneheart's next attack that Marinette decides to be Ladybug, donning the Miraculous again, telling a delighted Tikki that she won't sit back and do nothing when others are in trouble.

Since then they have a good relationship as partners and friends, often nuzzling each other warmly and even playing on occasion. Marinette appreciates Tikki's attempts to cheer her up after she has "failed" with Adrien or displayed "incompetence" as Ladybug. Tikki also helps her when she doesn't feel confident in herself, or when she gets off track, often giving her advice. In "Princess Fragrance" when Tikki gets sick and is taken by Chloé, Marinette was desperate to find and take her to the healer. Finding her, Marinette rejects her suggestion that they transform to stop the titular villain, saying she won't make the same mistake twice and goes to see the healer right away. After Tikki is healed Marinette told her she is more than a kwami to her. In "Befana", though finding it a bit strange, Marinette cherished the kwagatama Tikki gives her for her birthday.

During their adventure in Shanghai, Marinette is surprised that Tikki can speak Chinese understanding that as a kwami, her owner will always be a mystery. Noticing that her stuff was missing, Marinette became extremely worried searching the entire city for her. With Fei's help, she was relieved that her kwami and earrings were in Cash's shop. Reuniting, she promised to get out of there which she does.

Even after Marinette became the guardian, she continued to receive Tikki's constant support. Returning home after "Evolution" to an empty room she still received Tikki's support knowing they'll save her kwami siblings.

Returning home from the failed plan and with Alya kamikotized into Ubiquity, as well as alternate world Miraculous holders appearing in her room, Marinette learned more surprising things about Tikki. One that she and her kind knew about parallel universes, two: they live in all of them simulataneously, three: why the Miraculouses should never be used for evil especially by younger holders with Tikki explaining when the jewels are used in this condition the safety lock is removed allowing said holders to access to their full power but at the cost of their vital energy being drained away. But when Marinette asked why she wasn't told sooner Tikki replied there wasn't enough time too explain everything and chose to stick to the basics making of the time they do have.

While in the Lourve Museum in "Reunion", she asked Tikki if any of her previous owners were able to have a romantic relationship their Cat Noirs. And when the kwami speaks of a duo just like that but didn't have an evil Monarch after them, Marinette is shown by Tikki that her kwagatama when combined with the Ladybug statue can help her seek the wisdom of her former owners.

Soon a depressed Marinette was approached by a saddened Tikki in "Transmission". Listening with great seriousness as she received great praise from the kwami of creation calling her an exemplary holder of the Ladybug miraculous as she used her powers for the greater good. But was sadly told that her mission was over despite voicing concerns Tikki told her she'll be succeed by someone else. And to look at the bright side as she could be free to be with Adrien. Giving the earrings back they share one last glance with each other knowing they'll see each other again. But it was short-lived in "Deflagration", noticing waves of Tikki and Plagg's powers rippling everywhere and ending up with her lucky charm realizing Tikki's in danger donning her own costume and with the help of the Resistance, Marinette saved her and Plagg. Aware of what truly worked they stayed together.

After being heartbroken about Adrien's departure in "Representation", Marinette asked an equally saddened Tikki if there was a way to stop herself from crying but all Tikki could reply if there was she used it herself. The next day, in "Conformation", when Marinette suggested going to the Agreste Mansion as Ladybug to talk to Nathalie and Gabriel at first she was reminded by Tikki what happens every-time she did that bur Marinette assured her she would remain cool, calm and only negotiate Adrien's freedom nothing more with that Tikki agrees and they transform.

Marinette is very trusting of Tikki's intentions and judgment, as in "Sandboy" when she let Tikki go out on her own to contact Nooroo on his birthday in an attempt to find him. After the villain's defeat, Marinette understands she meant well and comforts her when Tikki thought she failed.

She also takes Tikki's encouragement to heart in "Chameleon" when Lila threatens to take Marinette's friends away from her and uses her advice to drive the akuma away. When Marinette lost her memory in "Oblivio", she calls Tikki a bug-mouse but was sympathetic towards her when she couldn't remember anything. When Tikki sees how well the two avoid Oblivio, she calls them an effective couple with Marinette agreeing.

Marinette's trust in Tikki extends to the point where she feels comfortable talking about her double life to her, claiming that she knew her better than anyone and hid no secrets. In "Kwamibuster", however, when she heard that Tikki had been spotted on the news, she scolded her kwami for not telling her. After she was captured by the titular villain, Marinette takes a great risk to save her, and afterwards, she forgives Tikki for her mistake and reaffirms their trust for each other.

Discovering Tikki's darkside.

In "Dearest Family", Marinette discovered a new side to Tikki which proved to be much darker than she ever expected: her kwami's immense hunger and lack of control, leading to disaster. At first, she thought little of it when Tikki ate the galette pieces meant for the other kwamis. Despite being warned by Sass, Marinette trusted her, but that was a fatal mistake when she tried to greedily eat the galette that was meant for her family. Experiencing Tikki's hunger after transforming and witnessing her kwami using her power to satisfy it, she finally believes what the other kwamis warned her about. When asking Tikki why she didn't tell her, ashamed, the kwami confesses, that she feared Marinette would like her less after knowing her other side. Comforting towards her, Marinette told Tikki she would always love her, regardless, and help control her hunger.

However in "Recreation", after Gabriel was defeated, Marinette didn't listen to Tikki's nor Plagg's judgement about trusting him which led to her downfall and the kwamis being taken from her. After Venom effects wore off when the Bee Miraculous was surrendered, Marinette saw Tikki in her true form after the wish was made the kwami of creation was returned to her.

Alya Césaire/Rena Rouge

Marinette and Alya meeting and becoming friends.

Marinette first met Alya when she was forced by Chloé to sit next to her on the first day of school in "Ladybug & Cat Noir", but seeing Alya stand up for her, they become friends. When she decides to not be Ladybug in "Stoneheart", she "chose" Alya by slipping the Ladybug Miraculous into her bag at school. Noticing her bag she took it to Alya after she left to watch the fight, but seeing her pinned to a wall by a car and crying out for help Marinette was determined to save her and uses the Miraculous again. The next day at school, hearing Alya's plans to find out Ladybug's secret identity, Marinette knowingly tells her, "Good luck with that."

Marinette enjoys spending time with Alya, her best friend. They get along very well, tolerating each others' flaws, like her ditziness and Alya's pushiness. Although often frozen with fear whenever Alya assists her with doing something with or for Adrien, she is thankful for her pushing her forward. Alya's desire to find out more about her alterego has caused many problems for Marinette, who wants to tell Alya that she is Ladybug but can't. Such as panicking when Alya finds the history book she dropped as Ladybug in "The Pharaoh", and she is utterly astounded when Alya left her a note saying she knows who Ladybug is in "Lady Wifi". Alya's attempts to find the truth about Ladybug can be exasperating for Marinette, but she does her best to conceal her identity from her. Both find Chloé awful, and both support each other in any way that they can.

In "Friends", Marinette calls Alya her strategic coach, and revealing that she was the one that helped her become better friends with Adrien. In "Tikki (webisode)", Marinette would love to introduce Tikki to her knowing Alya would love Tikki as much as she does but understands that her kwami must be kept a secret.

In "Chameleon", Marinette tries to tell Alya that Lila's stories aren't true, but Alya doesn't believe her. Despite not having the same feelings about Lila, she is happy when they sit beside each other in class. However, she can be annoyed with Alya at times, as seen in "The Puppeteer 2" when she thought Alya told Nino about her crush on Adrien or when she planned to leave Marinette alone with him.

During "Ladybug", she thanked Alya for believing in her, her support and help in trying to prove her innocence. Sometime prior to "Feast", she was glad that Alya had given up looking for the identity of her alter ego. But showed concern for Alya when she tried to unmask Hawk Moth. Marinette was more shocked when Alya discovered the secret order of the guardians, posting it on her blog, even believing she shouldn't have trusted Alya with a Miraculous after all. In "Cat Blanc", Marinette believes that Alya would never reveal her identity jeopardizing her best friend.

After becoming the Guardian, Marinette finds herself lying and isolating herself from everyone, even Alya, in such a way that she didn't even tell her about breaking up with Luka. This causes Alya and her other friends to try and show her she can trust them by making a beaded bracelet to connect their secrets. In an attempt to conceal the Miracle Box from them, Marinette ended their friendship sending them away, leading to their akumatization into the Gang of Secrets. After they were deakumatized and they made up, Marinette talked alone with Alya about her still having secrets and seeing that she won't pressure her to tell nor she'll try to uncover them, but will be there if she needs to talk. This causes Marinette, who is under a great pressure because of the weight of her responsibilities, to admit her actions. Eventually, she ends up telling Alya she is Ladybug.

Despite being told her identity some things don't change as she still receives Alya's support in her romantic pursuit of Adrien. After foiling Shadow Moth's plans in "Optigami", she comforted Alya about her mistake reminding of the important things about learning from her mistakes.

During "Shadow Moth's Final Attack", she was still surprised that Alya believed in Lila's stories but didn't believe her when Marinette told her about Adrien's true feelings about his big trip. Then, was informed not to mess with their friend's life as this was his big chance to have freedom but knowing what Adrien truly wants, trying to save him from his father and Risk's power she decides to pursue her goal without Alya's help unaware that both were right.

Despite losing her jewel she continues to receive her best friend's support about her mistake in "Multiplication". During their continued sleepover in "Destruction", Marinette told Alya that she created a plan to save the kwamis in advance if they were captured but it ends in failure. She received great praise from her for coming up with the greatest plan ever, showing self control and was encouraged to have hope and was told that Alya was looking for a way to help without her powers, Marinette replied she was helping by being a supportive friend.

In "Miraculous Paris", she continues to receive Alya's support until Marinette shocked seeing her best friend kamikotized into Ubquity and another mysterious Miraculous holder appear in her room. They both learn that the mysterious holder is named Betterfly but before they could learn anything more the friends were separated once at the Effiel Tower Marinette further explained the situation to Alya and asked her to keep her parents away from her room until it was repaired. After Monarch was defeaated, Shadybug and Claw Noire reform and return home with Betterfly, Marinette lamented how lucky she was to have friends and wondered how much her live would be if she didn't.

Like Nino and the rest of their classmates, Alya was also apart of the Resistance set up in "Illusion". She figured out that Marinette tells Alya that she as given up her romantic pursuit of Adrien for Cat Noir in instead in "Passion". When exploring the Louvre, she even told her the secret of her kwagatama and of the bittersweet answer to her romance question in "Reunion". During "Elation", she keeps getting reminded by Alya why she can't pursue Cat Noir romantically and similar to him in "Rocketear", Marinette got a little angry towards her as she found a way to be together with Nino while they couldn't and was called out by her for running away from her feelings towards Adrien.

Marinette received great joy from Alya about her and Adrien finally being a couple in "Perfection", however when she mentions being unable to say "I love you" to Adrien, Alya suggest that she gets help from her friends.

As Ladybug, Marinette can find it difficult keep Alya out of harm's way, due to her obsession with tracking and interacting with Ladybug, which has gotten her caught by akumatized villains before (such as in "The Pharaoh"). Regardless, she describes Alya to Cat Noir as "bossy, feisty, and bold" and expressing that she is always thankful for Alya's help. She doesn't mind being filmed for her Ladyblog website while giving her comments in interviews. Both as alter egos, they get along well.

In "Sapotis", Master Fu allows Marinette to choose a Miraculous to give to a trustworthy candidate via her Lucky Charm telling her that she and Cat Noir cannot win the fight without aid. Accordingly, Ladybug selects Alya and gave her the Fox Miraculous to temporarily assist them to defeat Sapotis. While working with her, Ladybug notices that Rena Rouge becomes easily wrapped up in the excitement, reminding her to stay on track. Despite this, Ladybug likes working with Rena Rouge, and understands how much Alya enjoys being a superhero. Nonetheless, in obedience to Master Fu's requirements, she pressures Alya to keep her promise to return the Fox Miraculous and gets exasperated when she is initially reluctant to give it back. Trusting Alya to make the right choice due to her own imminent detransformation, Marinette expresses relief that Alya does.

In "Syren", Marinette convinced Master Fu to allow Alya to continue occasionally being Rena Rouge, though she must still return the Miraculous at the end of each mission that she is conscripted for. In the "Heroes' Day" finale, Marinette, as Ladybug, calls on Alya to become Rena Rouge once again to help fight against Scarlet Moth's akumatized army and apologizes for revealing her identity to Nino. When the heroine sees her get struck with Dark Cupid's arrows, she encourages Rena Rouge to not give into negative emotions. They continue to work together in later episodes as well. When she is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save her.

In "Gang of Secrets", when Alya and her friends are akumatized into their previous supervillain forms, Ladybug, in an attempt to find out where the akumatized object is, she captures Lady Wifi and incentivizes her to fight against Shadow Moth's akumatization. After reminding her about her identity as Rena Rouge and totally trusting her, Ladybug was very impressed that she did the one thing no one else could: deakumatize and free herself from Shadow Moth's control. After defeating the supervillains and Alya returning the Fox Miraculous, Ladybug confesses to her she is lucky to have a friend like her.

She possesses an absolute trust in Alya in "Mr. Pigeon 72", after revealing her secret identity, even letting her know the code to access the Miracle Box inside her art supplies box. Alya is shown to be worthy of that trust, as she helps Ladybug understand the extent of her powers, allowing the latter to create magical charms that prevent reakumatizations, and even helps her without hesitation when she is in great need. Especially in "Optigami", when she needed her help in defeating Style Queen upon seeing that Rena Rouge also gave the Turtle Miraculous to Nino she was briefly angry but decided they could his help. However even after defeating the titular villain through Alya's actions she knew of Shadow Moth's real plan warning her that the Nino they had was a fake and their enemies were using the knowledge they gained against them. After discovering that Shadow Moth had gotten sneakier and more dangerous in his attempts to get their powers, Ladybug decides to make Alya a full team member and in the event if something happens her possible successor.

Despite having full trust in Alya and knowing she would never betray her, Marinette feared for her safety (as Shadow Moth knew her identity as Rena Rouge), getting paranoid with nightmares about Alya betraying her and telling the villain who she was. After being captured by Sentibubbler and becoming unable to transform at the risk of revealing her identity, Marinette is left with no other choice but to trust Alya to solve everything, which she does. After neutralizing Shadow Moth's plan and even with Rena Rouge convincing him that Ladybug would never give her the Fox Miraculous again, Marinette's trust in her was renewed now she is certain she did the right thing giving her the Fox Miraculous permanently.

Another sign of Marinette's total trust towards Alya is entrusting her best friend with her own Miraculous, giving her the role as Ladybug, when she needs to get out of Paris, in case something that happens in "Hack-San".

With Rena Rouge "out of the picture", Ladybug is aware that Alya is continuing her adventures as Rena Furtive however in "Rocketear", she heard Alya having a hard time staying in the shadows and it led to misunderstanding between her and Nino leading to his akumatization and after he was deakumatized Marinette apologized for the trouble she caused. She also trusted Alya to deal with the situation unaware that Alya told Nino that she is still active as Rena.

In "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", during the fight against Strikeback Marinette figured out that Rena told Nino her secret. After the sentimonster's defeat she receives the Fox Miraculous from a remorseful yet understanding Alya that she doesn't need superpowers to be a supportive friend.

From "Miraculous Paris", as Ladybug she saw Alya out on the streets calling out to her informing the heroine of Monarch's plan despite being of herself she had her support. And as apart of the plan they would have Alya kamikotized into Ubquity again to distract Monarch and after foiling the real plan, Shadybug and Claw Noir reform, Alya is kamikotized for the final time sending the alternate heroes home.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Rena is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses her as Rena Rouge in "Determination".

In "Transmission", being aware of Scarabella's existence Marinette knows that Tikki chose Alya to be her successor after she surrendered her earrings. Then, she stopped by to see that everything was fine or so she thought seeing the kwamis powers ripple everywhere as well as a paralyzed Alya; Marinette figured out that Monarch had discovered her best friend's identity and stole her Miraculous after both jewels were retrieved Marinette resumed her mantle and asked for her help as Scarabella in "Revelation".

In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Alya's help in defeating the Miraculized army. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Trixx and his miraculous back to Alya on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with her and the whole team.

Sabrina Raincomprix/Miss Hound

Marinette isn't close to Sabrina, but she feels bad that Chloé abuses her so unfairly. That said, she appears to dislike her presence due to the latter's attempts to nurture a dependence off of her. In "The Evillustrator" when she stands up for Sabrina, she is surprised that Sabrina immediately tries to befriend her, including doing her geography homework for her, much to her discomfort. Since she agrees to go to a party with the Evillustrator in order to defeat him, she sadly tells Sabrina that working on the presentation later at night won't work, which greatly upsets Sabrina, and she is hurt when Sabrina accuses her of being just like Chloé. After that, Sabrina usually follows Chloé in bullying Marinette, which upsets her. On occasion, Marinette does show kindness to Sabrina, such as when she frees her hand from the magic box in "Darkblade" and in "Santa Claws" when she gives her a Christmas log.

In "Queen Banana", Marinette sees that Chloé's attitude towards everyone has gotten even more sour even towards Sabrina. In "Penalteam", Marinette discovers Sabrina's love for soccer and allows her to play the game.

In "Confrontation", Sabrina warns Marinette about Chloé and Lila are planning to falsify her classmates' files and blame it on her. Working together they devise a plan to reveal their deceitful nature to their friends and school faculty.

As Ladybug, Marinette is less annoyed with protecting her than Chloé, and she is thankful for Sabrina's help at times. In "Catalyst" after Sabrina is deakumatized, she hugs Ladybug, relieved she was still around. When Sabrina says she will spread the word about what really happened, Ladybug thanks her.

In "Penalteam", as Ladybug, she gives Sabrina the Dog Miraculous but seeing her hesitate about fighting her best friend the heroine explained that Chloé was buried underneath the titular villain and that she would be fighting to save her.

Like the other team members she made Miss Hound inactive after losing the Dog Miraculous.

In "Multiplication", with her permission as her alter ego through Alix's father she was informed about Alix's fate as Bunnyx. In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Miss Hound is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her in "Determination" reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses her.

As Ladybug, she saw that Chloe was responsible for Sabrina's akumatization again in "Adoration", this time sinking to a whole new low when she was forced by Chloe to surrender her morals and beliefs in the law just to save their "friendship". Once she was deakumatized the heroine harbored no ill will towards her giving a magical charm to always remind her of her beliefs.

In "Recreation", after Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Barkk and her miraculous back to Sabrina on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with her and the whole team.

Nino Lahiffe/Carapace

Marinette and Nino get along well as friends. She never realized he had a crush on her in "Animan" until he admits it after it's gone, but when they're at the zoo and he lied needing help getting together with Alya, she is excited and eager to bring him and her best friend together. In "Simon Says", she is invited to see him perform on The Challenge, but she is grounded by her parents. On occasion, she can get a bit annoyed with him, like with his filming enthusiasm in "Horrificator". In "Anansi", Marinette sees that Nino and Alya get along so well to where she admits that those are in perfect sync with each other. In "Cat Blanc", she believes that Nino would never reveal her identity jeopardizing a close friend.

Like her, Nino wasn't fooled by Adrien's cousin Felix's trick in "Felix". When Marinette voiced her concerns about Adrien to Nino in "Risk" like Alya he didn't believe her finding it strange if Adrien didn't want to model why did he talk to him.

In "Illusion", Marinette was asked by Nino to join his resistance group then, to discover how Monarch kept transferring the miraculous powers to his villains. Upon hearing him wanting to cause an akumatization she was hesitant at first then agrees to go with the plan hoping his plan bears fruit unaware that they are being spyed on.

Like everyone else in "Revelation", through the alliance ring was tricked by Hoaxer.

As Ladybug, she is aware of Nino's admiration of her, for saving Paris and how excited he is whenever she and Cat Noir are around. He even invites them as his special guests for The Challenge, saying they wouldn't let him down. In "Zombizou" after Alya becomes infected, Ladybug wanted Nino to come with them and shows great concern for him when he chose to stay behind.

In "Anansi", seeing that Nino would do anything to save Alya, showing great concern that he would get hurt. After saving him from Anansi as Ladybug, she asks for his help stalling the villain until she returns. When he is doubtful, she encourages him by understanding that it's not always strength that saves the day but courage and determination putting total trust in him. Fighting off Anansi with enough time, Ladybug returns and presents him with the Turtle Miraculous and, as Carapace, helps the heroes defeat the titular villain. While working with him, he becomes slightly doubtful of his capabilities but quickly takes to them, although he has a bit of trouble calling the heroine by her proper name. After the mission, he quickly returns the bracelet she praises him for a job well done.

In "Catalyst", Marinette is proud that Nino said Ladybug showed him what cool is really about. In the "Heroes' Day" finale, Marinette, as Ladybug, calls on Nino to become Carapace once again to help fight against Scarlet Moth's akumatized army and apologizes for revealing his identity to Alya. The two continue to work well together in later adventures.

When he is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save him. Just like with Adrien, she was able to tell the real Nino from a sentimonster copy through via her lucky charm in "Sentibubbler".

In "Rocketear", when she hears Carapace's concern about Rena's absence during the latest mission as Ladybug, she said only he was needed. However Marinette sees that pushing Alya's fan worship to Cat Noir resulted in Nino believing that Alya and Cat Noir were a couple then his akumatization. As Ladybug and with Rena Furtive's help, by showing what really happened that night she was able to stop the boys from fighting.

In "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", Ladybug fights beside Carapace for the final time during the scuffle against Strikeback seeing him use his shell-ter to defend Rena, she glared at him knowing that he was told Alya's secret until she loses the Turtle Miraculous making him inactive.

In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Nino's help in defeating the Miraculized army. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Wayzz and his miraculous back to Nino on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Master Wang Fu

Marinette officially meets Master Fu.

When they first meet, Marinette, unaware of Master Wang Fu's importance as the Great Guardian, saves him from oncoming traffic in "Ladybug & Cat Noir". She brushes off dropping a box of macarons in order to rescue him and tells him to have a nice day as she runs to school. Later, when she takes Tikki to him to get healed in "Princess Fragrance", she worries about keeping Tikki's species a secret from him, but she shows immense gratitude to him for healing her, although curious about how he did it.

In awe of Tikki's seriousness about the Great Guardian and his need of the Miraculous Spellbook, Marinette officially meets Wang Fu in "The Collector". Despite understanding his importance and agreeing to help him stop Hawk Moth, she struggled to trust and tell him everything she knows when evidence points to Adrien being Hawk Moth's secret identity. She finally opens up to him after she figures out that neither Adrien nor his father are Hawk Moth -- unaware that Gabriel tricked her -- and she agrees to be honest with him about her feelings and the information she gathers. From there, she continues to visit and view him as her teacher, patiently listening to his knowledge and asking questions whenever confused or curious. His teasing flusters her at times, becoming embarrassed when he guesses her initial unwillingness to tell him about where she found the book is because of someone she loves. Meanwhile, she shares his determination to retrieve the Butterfly Miraculous from Hawk Moth and restore balance to the universe before the Ladybug Miraculous and Cat Miraculous are used to make reality-bending wishes. In "Sapotis", she also is respectful and obedient to Wang's request to be careful with the Miraculous she takes out by making the right choice for a user and getting it back to Wang Fu afterward.

Master Fu allows Marinette to pick another Miraculous holder.

In "Syren" after she returns the Fox Miraculous to him again, he notices she is troubled and lets her speak her mind. She talks about Cat Noir's frustration, and he tells her that there will be a right time to speak. They later work together to find the right ingredient to unlock aquatic powers, Marinette suggesting an actual tear of joy, and so tells Wang Fu jokes to make him laugh. She then tells him she feels it's time to fill in Cat Noir on everything, to which he agrees. After saving Paris, he gives her the vials to unlock all the new powers and to keep them safe.

During "Anansi", she approaches Master Fu telling him that she needs help fighting the villain, as Anansi is about to take Cat Noir's Miraculous. Considering the situation carefully, Marinette asks for his Miraculous, which he allows. During "Style Queen", she approaches Master Fu again who tells her of Cat Noir's fate. In "Malediktator" when Master Wang Fu is still unsure about Chloé wielding the Bee Miraculous, Marinette remains firm with her choice, hoping that being a superhero will give her rival a chance to grow having the guardian's support.

In the "Heroes' Day" finale after successfully defeating Hawk Moth's akumatized army, she is praised by Master Fu for doing a good job.

When she comes to Master Fu's aid in "Backwarder", Marinette is surprised of his alias Mr. Chan and that he chose her to become the next guardian, aware he won't live forever. She is also asked by him to give his letter to Marianne, finding it very sweet that he has a crush on her. After Ladybug gives her the correct letter, she and Tikki watch them from not faraway, aware that Marianne and Wang will declare their feelings for each other someday.

Marinette learns about Fu's past.

She learns of his mistake in "Feast" when his old sentimonster returns, and Wang explains that when he was young, he was unhappy with his life as a guardian. During a training session, he became hungry and angry that his life changed because of it. So Wang used the Peacock Miraculous to create his creature, but the sentimonster fed off of his hunger and resentment and went out of control, causing the temple and everyone to be destroyed as well as losing the book and the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculouses. Realizing what Hawk Moth would do, Marinette expresses no fear towards the creature and asks her master to trust that her and Cat Noir can beat it. However, she receives a letter from Wang saying that he took her Miraculous back in order to protect her from a sentimonster.

Marinette runs to help Master Fu.

Knowing that Wang is in trouble, Marinette rushes to help him. Despite being powerless, she and Cat Noir use their creativity to distract the creature. When he comes to a resolve, Marinette receives her earrings back, and by diving into the belly of the beast, the heroes manage to defeat the sentimonster then is thanked by the Master. With the Order restored, Marinette is surprised that he will pass the role of guardianship to her, finding her more worthy of it than he is. With his shop no longer safe, she is informed that Wang will be undercover but will always be there when she and Cat Noir will need him.

Instead of coming to Master Fu as herself, Marinette, but as her alter ego, she unknowingly led Hawk Moth and Mayura to him in "Heart Hunter". She breaks down about her terrible mistake of not only putting Master Fu in danger but also maybe the whole world noticing that the Miracle box is gone. In "Miracle Queen", she bravely and determinedly tries to fix her mistake, and along with Cat Noir, is able to save the remaining kwamis. However, the same can't be said for Master Fu; during the scuffle, she hears him encourage her to fight on without him believing that she will be greatest hero ever. With that, she is given his title as the new guardian. Afterwards she discovers that when Master Fu passed it on, all of his memories about the miraculouses were erased due to the guardians code, meaning he didn't remember her. With that, she leads him to Marianne and receives a note from him about love, losses and life.

Reuniting with Master Fu.

They meet again in "Furious Fu", where it's revealed that Marinette had arranged a meeting with Wang and Marianne at the train station to have a picnic together. Despite Wang not having his memories, he and Marinette still have a close relationship, as he believes she found him when he lost his memory by accident, and even defended him when Su-Han criticzes him for not following the Guardians' rules and for losing two Miraculouses, with her stating that while Master Fu made some mistakes, he also protected the Miraculouses with his life and also became a great painter.

As Ladybug, she was surprised to find him akumatized and was determined to save him. After was deakumatized, she gave him one of her Magical Charms to protect him from future akumatizations.

When their many time hops land Ladybug and Rabbit Noir in the 1940's they reunite with Master Fu. With her lucky charm the heroes briefly explain that they're his future chosen ones and help him fix his mistakes. Afterwards she and Rabbit Noir took the past Dog Miraculous and after the current Rabbit Miraculous was secured Fu received the past Dog Miraculous back to prevent temporal changes.

Heartbroken about how her love relationships cost her everything, a depressed Marinette believed that Master Fu made the wrong choice in choosing her as a Miraculous holder or guardian in "Transmission". Now she is beginning to understand how Master Fu felt with his mistake of destroying the temple, but is yet to realize the difference between them as Fu's mistake was done by himself where her mistake was at the fault of many.

Rose Lavillant/Pigella

Being friends with Rose since at least the previous school year, Marinette likes hanging out with her, and she encourages and supports her when needed. To cheer Rose up in "The Notebook", she compliments her journal and draws a picture of a rose in her journal.

In "Gigantitan", she is surprised that Rose and the others already know of Marinette's crush on Adrien and approves of it. She appreciates Rose's support during the girls' plans to set up her with Adrien, and as Ladybug, for helping her out of the villain's grip. She enjoys hanging out with her on several occasions seen in "Gorizilla", "Captain Hardrock", "Syren" and "Frightningale".

In "Friends", she writes finding Rose romantic, being the one who always sees the silver lining. However, in "Gang of Secrets", driven by the intense pressure of the responsibilities of the Miraculous Guardian and it costing her love life, Marinette pushed Rose away leaving her vulnerable to akumatization, and after being de-akumatized, she came clean with her, accepting that it's easier being with friends.

In "Guiltrip", she took Rose to the nurse finding it interesting that Rose calls the nurse "Ms. Dora" aware that she had an imaginary friend back in 6th Grade. From Juleka, she learned that Rose had been sick since she was little, and like her friends, Marinette became a bit overprotective of her. After Reflekta and her titular sentimonster's defeat, Marinette returns to treating Rose as normal.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Rose and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

Like everyone else in "Revelation", through the alliance ring was tricked by Hoaxer.

Ladybug and Cat Noir with their newest ally Pigella.

As Ladybug, she does what she can to protect her like everyone else from akumatized victims. When dealing with the titular sentimonster in "Guiltrip", Ladybug realizes that Rose's positivity is what they need and gives her the Pig Miraculous to help save her friend. Together, they defeat the titular villain and her sentimonster. Upon receiving the Pig Miraculous back as Ladybug, she knows that Rose doesn't need a Miraculous to be a hero.

Like the other team members Ladybug continues to call on her for various missions until she loses the Pig Miraculous making her inactive.

Marinette becomes determined to make sure Juleka is in the photo.

Juleka is also one of Marinette's friends since at least the previous school year, and Marinette cares for her, even though she sometimes is hard to understand due to her shyness. In "Reflekta", she is determined to help Juleka get a good photo of herself, driven enough to defy Chloé's and Sabrina's efforts to ruin her chances of being in the class photo.

She is surprised that Juleka reveals she knows about her crush on Adrien in "Gigantitan", but is thankful for Juleka's support and encouragement. She praises her as Ladybug for helping her out of the villain's grip. She enjoys hanging out with her on several occasions, like in "Gorizilla", "Captain Hardrock" and "Frightningale".

During "Reflekdoll", she is shocked when Juleka steps up to model in the photo shoot for her website. When she hears her friend turn down the offer, Marinette takes over modeling with Adrien, but upon seeing it lead to Juleka's akumatization and amokization, she tries to apologize. After Juleka is deakumatized, Marinette gives the position back to her, and they finish it.

However, in "Gang of Secrets", driven by the intense pressure of the responsibilities of the Miraculous Guardian and it costing her her love life, Marinette pushed Juleka away leaving her vulnerable to akumatization, and after being de-akumatized, Marinette came clean with her, accepting that it's easier being with friends.

Learning of Juleka's secret.

In "Guiltrip" when she sees Juleka run off upset, Marinette goes after her to see if she's alright. Upon finding her in the boiler room, she learns that Juleka was upset because Rose has a condition and comforted her along with her other friends. However, their over-protectiveness resulted in Rose briefly snapping at them and Juleka becoming upset once again. Marinette and the others attempted to apologize, but it resulted in her guilt leading into another akumatization. She, as Ladybug, was determined to save her, and after Juleka was deakumatized, everything returned to normal.

In "Crocoduel", she asks for Juleka's help in avoiding Luka and let him not be there at her birthday, relieved that Juleka can help her with that. However, when she sees Luka in the boat, Marinette asks Juleka why he is here, finding that she can't tell her brother, and hugs her to apologize. When Juleka tells her that Jagged Stone is her father, she is surprised. Thinking that Jagged loves Luka more than Juleka, she decides to help her by advicing Juleka to talk to him.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Juleka and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

Ladybug and Cat Noir with Purple Tigress.

As Ladybug, she does what she can to protect her like everyone else from akumatized victims. When dealing with Captain Hardrock and Guitar Villain in "Crocoduel", Ladybug thinks that Juleka is the right choice to help her, giving her the Tiger Miraculous to help save her parents by becoming the superheroine Purple Tigress. Together, she, Purple Tigress and Cat Noir defeat the titular villains. After their defeats, upon receiving the miraculous back as Ladybug, she advises Juleka to not hesitate to say what she thinks very loudly, even without the outfit when she needs to.

Like the other team members Ladybug continues to call on her for various missions until she loses the Tiger Miraculous making her inactive.

Being Mylène's friend and classmate, Marinette enjoys hanging out with her, and she supports her in any way possible, vouching for her role in the movie in "Horrificator". As Ladybug, she also helps her and Ivan become a couple. In "Gigantitan", Marinette is shocked by Mylène's knowledge of her crush on Adrien, but she cherishes Mylène's willingness to help her try to get together with Adrien and, when fighting as Ladybug, helping distract Gigantitan so she can escape. She enjoys hanging out with her on several occasions, like in "Gorizilla" and "Captain Hardrock".

She comments in "Friends" that she finds Mylène expressive with her feelings.

However, in "Gang of Secrets" driven by the intense pressure of the responsibilities of the Miraculous Guardian and it's costing her her love life, Marinette pushed Mylène away leaving her vulnerable to akumatization, and after being de-akumatized, Marinette came clean with her accepting that it's easier being with friends.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Myléne and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

While fighting Monarch, as a disguised and depowered Ladybug, she was surprised to see Mylene come to her defense along with the other Resistance members and after both heroes jewels have been retrieved she thanked her and the Resistance for their help in "Deflagration".

Unlike everyone else in "Revelation", unknown to Marinette due to Myléne not wearing a alliance ring she and Ivan were the only ones along with Adrien who didn't get tricked by Hoaxer.

As Ladybug, she does what she can to protect her like everyone else from akumatized victims. In "Mega Leech", she sees Mylène and Ivan protest against the Mayor's latest environmental project and soon after Marinette and their friends take part in it. When many mini Malediktators attack, aware that Mylène has the best ideas as Ladybug, Marinette tries to give her the Mouse Miraculous but when Mylène refuses out of fear, Ladybug reminds her of what true courage is and was proud to give her the jewel. After the titular villain's defeat she praised her friend for her courage.

Marinette views Alix as a friend, cheering her on during a race against Kim in "Timebreaker" and feeling terrible for her watch getting broken.

Alix knowing about her attraction to Adrien surprises her, but she is grateful for Alix's assistance with Alya's plan to get her and Adrien together. She enjoys hanging out with her on several occasions, like in "Syren" and "Frightningale".

In "Friends", she states that Alix is very brave, being the type who never backs down from a challenge. In "New Heroes", Marinette excitedly waits for the day she can give her the Rabbit Miraculous for the first time.

However, in "Gang of Secrets" driven by the intense pressure of the responsibilities of the Miraculous Guardian and it costing her her love life, Marinette pushed Alix away leaving her vulnerable to akumatization, and after being de-akumatized, she came clean with her, accepting that it's easier being with friends.

During "Multiplication", she still harbored sadness about trapping Alix in the burrow and throughout the timestream.

After Alix is deakumatized, she teaches her about responsibility and is happy that she'll take better care of the watch. As Ladybug, she accepts Alix's help in "Reverser" with stopping the villain because her clumsiness made it difficult to fight.

Meeting Alix's future self and learning of her destiny.

During "Timetagger", as Ladybug, she comes across Alix with a message for her through her family watch. She is shocked to find a mysterious Miraculous holder in an obelisk and that it was Alix's future self who, along with her family, was unknowingly in possession of the Rabbit Miraculous. However, Ladybug is confused as she didn't give either Alixes the miraculous but is assured by Bunnyx she would one day in the future and that she and Cat Noir will form a team of heroes with Bunnyx as one of its members, being the hero of the last resort and tasked to stop a future Hawk Moth with Ladybug's future self as a team leader. After Timetagger's defeat and return home, she assured Alix they'll meet again.

She meets Bunnyx again in "Cat Blanc", but under a dire situation needing her help to change the future. Inside Bunnyx's burrow, she is amazed but is told very little except to do her normal thing: deakumatize the villain. Shocked that Bunnyx isn't staying with her but, instead, stays back to seek other solutions. After the damaged timeline is repaired and seeing the complexity of Bunnyx's powers, Ladybug asks if altering history also alters her memory but is told that what is seen and can't be unseen. She is also informed that she knows her identity but isn't told anything else, except that everything has its time and that its fragile, as well as the reason why Ladybug picked her to wield the Rabbit Miraculous was because she knew how to keep secrets.

Letting her keep the watch.

During "Evolution", noticing a future version of herself, Cat Noir and Monarch then Bunnyx appearing she knew that Monarch couldn't wait and started using the Rabbit Miraculous. During the scuffle in the burrow she was shocked that Bunnyx was paralyzed. After getting the past Dog Miraculous and needing help Ladybug knew that the time was now. Returning to their own time she and Rabbit Noir retrieve Alix, give her the past Dog Miraculous and explain the situation of needing her help in getting the Rabbit Miraculous back. Also she assigned her to keep the Rabbit's watch to protect it but sadly admits that Alix won't be returning until Monarch's defeat. Seeing Alix's father so calm they were informed that he already knew of Alix's destiny as Bunnyx.

As Canigirl, Alix tagged the watch with the ball and using Monarch's greed against him they were able to secure both versions of the Rabbit's Watch. Seeing her return it but being true to her word Ladybug allows her to keep it. Despite freeing Fluff, she was distraught that Alix had to be imprisoned in the burrow until Monarch's defeat.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Bunnyx is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding.

Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses them. In "Reunion", at the Louvre, Marinette and her class discover a letter from Alix about her adventures then after her brother Jalil's akumatization but aware of Monarch's trick, she sought out Bunnyx's help without having her leave the safety of the burrow.

In "The Final Day", Ladybug finally understood what adult Bunnyx (who recruited assistance in the fight against the Miraculized army) meant back in "Cat Blanc". Being aware of her powers, it's likely that Ladybug figured out that she had lied to her, but the for the sake of keeping the timeline in check. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Alix returns to the present and Marinette is happy to be reunited with her and the whole team.

Max Kanté/Pegasus

Generally, Max and Marinette get along nicely. In "Gamer", he becomes upset with Marinette for beating him at Ultimate Mecha Strike III and becoming the second student to go to the tournament, which he tries to hide but fails to over time. After she offers up her place for him, though, he gains a lot more respect for her, and he encourages her when she ends up being his partner. Max appreciates Marinette's bravery and compassion, grateful for her trying to get Markov back for him in "Robostus", and he cares enough about her to team up with other students to try fighting off the titular villain and her minions to protect her in "Befana". During "Gamer 2.0", Max becomes sad that Marinette, like everyone else, is too busy to try out his new game. After he's deakumatized, Max takes up her parents' offer to play his new game with them, and soon, Marinette joins.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Max and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

Like everyone else in "Revelation", through the alliance ring was tricked by Hoaxer.

Max sees Ladybug as a wonderful protector of Paris, and he appreciates her greatly. In "Robostus", he takes her advice that he should forgive Markov because people sometimes struggle to control their emotions.

During "Startrain", Max accepted Ladybug's help request to stop his akumatized mother; when then the temperatures inside the train were getting too dangerous for him, Ladybug offered him the Horse Miraculous, and he accepted it, becoming the hero Pegasus, and he followed Ladybug's instructions and lead faithfully as well as in "Party Crasher". After his mother and friends were saved, he returned the Horse Miraculous to her. When he is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save him.

Like the other team members, Ladybug occasionally continues to call on Max to become Pegasus when needed until she loses the Horse Miraculous making him inactive.

In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Max's help in defeating the Miraculized army. after Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Kaalki and her miraculous back to Max on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Ivan Bruel/Minatourox

In "My Birthday Party", Marinette admits that Ivan is a "bit of an old grump," but he is nice to her, which she appreciates. When she realizes that Ivan has feelings for Mylène that he is scared to act on in "Ladybug & Cat Noir" and "Stoneheart", she encourages him to tell her how he feels, believing the two were made for each other but aren't aware of it yet. She is happy for them after she shares Ivan's song lyrics with Mylène, who responds warmly.

During "Illusion", Marinette learns that Ivan and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

Unlike everyone else in "Revelation" unknown to Marinette due to Ivan not wearing a alliance ring he and Mylene were the only ones along with Adrien who didn't get tricked by Hoaxer.

Giving Ivan the Ox Miraculous.

In "Pentalteam", as Ladybug she gave him the Ox Miraculous but he was hesitant in taking it and yet she assured him it's ok to be careful and that he was on a team of superheroes so no could get hurt. Afterwards, he accepts becoming the strong and gentle in Minatourix and after the fight against Strikeback in "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", like the other team members Ladybug made him inactive when she loses the Ox Miraculous.

In "Multiplication", with her permission as her alterego through Alix's father he was informed about Alix's fate as Bunnyx. In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Minatourox is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses them.

While fighting Monarch, as a disguised and depowered Ladybug, she was surprised to see Ivan come to her defense along with the other Resistance members and after both heroes jewels have been retrieved she thanked him and the Resistance for their help in "Deflagration".

In "Conformation" Ivan fell victim and becomes an Miraculized, thinking she and Cat Noir kidnapped Adrien and Kagami, but is freed with the help of his friends. In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had his help in defeating the Miraculized army. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Stompp and his miraculous back to Ivan on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Nathaniel Kurtberg/Caprikid

Marinette is friends with Nathaniel since at least the previous school year and thinks he is an excellent artist, but she never expected him to have a crush on her until Chloé reveals it to everyone in "The Evillustrator". She agrees with him (while he is Evillustrator) that Chloé is egotistical and mean, and she gets frustrated when he accuses her of being just like Chloé after she teamed up with Cat Noir to stop him. Nathaniel is temporarily upset at her accusing others, including himself, of stealing Chloé's bracelet in "Rogercop", but Marinette did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings. In "My Birthday Party", she does not mention Nathaniel, but he is invited to her birthday party in "Befana" and works with their friends to protect her.

In "Reverser" after seeing that Nathaniel and Marc have a lot in common, she tries to set them up as partners to make a comic strip together. However, through a misunderstanding, Nathaniel becomes upset with her believing she was using Marc to tease him. After everything is cleared up, she is grateful that he forgave her and remains friends with her. She continues to get along with him as they are occasionally paired up for an art project and does drawing contests with him for fun.

Like everyone else in "Revelation", through the alliance ring was tricked by Hoaxer.

Giving Nath the Goat Miraculous.

As Ladybug, she gives him the Goat Miraculous at first he hesitated not wanting to be apart of a team until Ladybug reminded him by working with Marc on their comics he was already apart of a team. He accepts the Goat Miraculous becoming the creative Caprikid until like the other member she loses the Goat Miraculous making him inactive.

Marc Anciel/Rooster Bold

Marc appears to be on good terms with Marinette, but he is shy about showing his writings to her. Regardless, he takes her advice of teaming up with Nathaniel to create a comic book and allows her to give Nathaniel his writing without saying who wrote it. However, after a misunderstanding, Marc believes that Marinette is meddlesome and a liar. After he is deakumatized, though, he is no longer mad at her and, along with Nathaniel, dedicates their first Ladybug comic book to her. He also attends the picnic celebrating her and cheers her on as their "Everyday Ladybug".

In "Penalteam", like Sabrina, Marinette sees that Marc doesn't only have a love for soccer but is skilled in it too.

Marc appears to be a fan of Ladybug and often writes stories inspired by her fights against akumatized villains. Also, in "Frightningale", he wears a Ladybug mask in Clara Nightingale's music video. Despite his timid personality, Ladybug's courage and determination inspires him to join the battle against the army of scarlet akumas.

As Reverser, he targets Marinette, believing (partly correctly) that it is her fault that Nathaniel rejected him. His intent is to reverse her into being hated by everyone. However, he doesn't like her interfering with his plans. His strategic talent leads him to realize that he can force her into a vulnerable situation by targeting innocent bystanders, making her defend them.

Giving Marc the Rooster Miraculous.

As Ladybug, she gives him the Rooster Miraculous and like Sabrina and the boys he too was hestaint in taking the jewel believing he wasn't any good until she told him otherwise. Accepting the jewel he becomes the wildcard Rooster Bold and after the fight against Strikeback in "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", like the other team members Ladybug made him inactive when she loses the Rooster Miraculous.

After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Orikko and his miraculous back to Marc on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with him and the whole team.

Kagami Tsurugi/Ryuko

Marinette's first impression of Kagami.

Marinette immediately recognizes Kagami's talent when she and Adrien start dueling in "Riposte", and she is as surprised as Adrien to find out Kagami is a female. Albeit very minor, she exhibits jealousy about both Kagami's skill and her gender in relation to Adrien when dealing with her akumatization as Riposte. Unsure of her call on Adrien and Kagami's match, she regrets making it as she sees Kagami's defeated reaction. Once Kagami is deakumatized, Ladybug supports Adrien in apologizing to her by giving Kagami's saber to him and bears no ill will toward her.

During "Frozer", Marinette harbors a little grudge against Kagami when she thinks Adrien had a crush on her and secretly calls her "Ice Queen". However, she does take her advice about being less hesitant.

She harbors some jealously towards Kagami, which is be seen both in "Backwarder" and "Animaestro" when she sees her hanging around Adrien. After she finds out that both Adrien and Kagami are going to spend the weekend in London for the royal wedding, Marinette asks her friends for help in order to try to prevent the two of them of becoming even closer during the event. This jealousy is so strong that it even drives her to team up with Chloé to try to separate her from Adrien once they discover that they will sit together during the premiere of the new animated movie of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

In "Ikari Gozen", Marinette is paired up with Kagami for a friendship game where the prize is spending time with Adrien. She dislikes the idea of working with her because they both share the crush on him and tries to sabotage their own game so that Kagami won't be with Adrien. Unknown to Marinette, Kagami is in fact trying to be friends with her and, when they trade cellphones for the game, she discovers that Kagami doesn't have any other contacts except her mother and that she was using an app about how to make friends to try to bond with her. This causes her to give Kagami another chance at being friends and shows it by defending her from the latter's mother and helping her hide once she hears Mrs. Tsurugi being akumatized by Hawk Moth. After Ikari Gozen's defeat, they, despite losing the game, become actual friends and start to spend time together to get to know each other better.

Understanding Kagami's feelings for Adrien, Marinette gives up her pursuit of him so she can be happy. Despite that, the two continue being friends and hang out with each other in "The Battle of the Miraculous" and in some of her Instagram photos.

In "Mr. Pigeon 72", discovering that Adrien and Kagami broke up, Marinette, instead of taking advantage of the situation to win his heart, she decides to console Kagami and help her get back together with Adrien, despite the former's stating she was over him. She drags her to the pool where he was making a commercial and does many attempts to make them fall in love again, but ends miserably, especially because of her unwillingness to get back with Adrien. After the titular villain is defeated, Kagami tells Marinette that everything she had said about what she would feel when falling in love again for Adrien was what the latter was feeling, even adding she was perfect for him.

She takes Kagami's advice about practicing her love attempts with a partner in "Glaciator 2" to help better her attempt in admitting her feelings to Adrien. After the fencing tourament Marinette was dragged by Kagami asking if she admitting her feelings when she said not yet Kagami was disappointed, upon hearing her acting strange Marinette realized she was giving her advice from a manga book. Laughing and aware that books aren't always accurate she convinced Kagami to spend more time with her and their friends.

In "Determination", Marinette was tricked by Kagami and Luka into being alone in the wax museum with Adrien so that she can admit her feelings.

She valued Kagami's hard-work at trying to put her together with Adrien in "Perfection", but seeing they weren't getting anywhere Marinette avoided her unknown that led Lila to make her vulnerable to akumatization. Afterwards, Marinette apologized for avoiding her because she didn't want disappoint her but Kagami retorts with her own disappointment of always having to be perfect so she can be good enough for others and lack of social skills. Realizing that was her problem she embraced her in thanks making Kagami believe they are friends with her emphasizing they are best friends. When worried about that knowing it's Alya's status Marinette also tells her that the love of friends isn't divided but grows and heart-fully accepts her photo of them.

Through friendship Marinette helps Kagami learn another critical lesson in "Protection", as she and Adrien become closer she was unaware of Kagami's mixed feelings. It wasn't until a picnic with him was interrupted by Riposte Prime leaving her shocked more so when she heard her former friend believe she was a manipulator, Marinette tried to reason with her to no avail. Once Kagami is deakumatized, she was sad by her behavior towards her. Marinette asked what happened still believing they were friends and yet was shocked that Kagami was fooled by Lila and dismissed it. Then, after Adrien spoke on her behalf, she was shocked that Kagami broke down in tears admitting that she cared about them both; embracing her. Then Kagami felt ashamed by her clouded judgement believing she was weak. Until Marinette told her that showing her true feelings, trying to understand them and moving on isn't a weakness but strength. Following suit, they heard Kagami admit while embraced that she was happy for them but sad for herself.

Marinette knew that just like Adrien, Kagami was going to the Diamond Dance party in "Emotion", she comes across her. After she admits her feelings to "Adrien" and then leaves but is stopped and as a sign of their friendship Kagami lets her take her place as queen of the ball. After being restored she made her presence known to Kagami and shared a hug, the next she shared some ice cream with her and Adrien; seeing the progress Marinette made in his relationship with Adrien she praised her.

Ladybug encourages Ryuko.

After Kagami is captured by her akumatized mother, Marinette does everything in her power as Ladybug to save her, even giving her the Dragon Miraculous. She is surprised when Ryuko reveals herself to Hawk Moth and goes to fight alone. When the fight ends with Cat Noir being captured, Ryuko blames herself for failing, but she encourages her to try again. With Ryuko now listening, they stop Ikari Gozen, save Cat Noir, and include her in their trademark "pound it". Despite her doing so well, Ladybug becomes upset that she can't let Kagami have the Dragon Miraculous again because Hawk Moth knows her identity, leading to her loved ones being in danger. Before leaving, she gives Kagami advice about friendship, saying it's not about quantity but treasuring the friendships you do have.

As Ladybug, she returns the Dragon Miraculous to Kagami warning her about breaking hearts when taking on the duty of hero. When she is turned into Miracle Queen's servant in "The Battle of the Miraculous", as Ladybug, Marinette is determined to save her.

Like the other team members, Ladybug occasionally continues to call on Kagami to become Ryuko when needed until she loses the Dragon Miraculous making her inactive.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Ryuko is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses them.

In her confusion in "Perfection", she runs away from the situation as Ladybug, finding someone akumatized she cheered in relief but asked why should she be happy about it. Being given a friendship test by Cat Noir, Ladybug was shocked that it was Kagami akumatized again realizing that distancing herself from her caused this she was determined to free her. Understanding that Kagami's belief that she didn't have any friends Ladybug knew what she needed and with the help of many friends, they showed her that she was loved which led her to break free from it.

She praised Kagami for rejecting the akuma and showed that everyone was cheering for her and was gave a magical charm as a reminder of her many friendships. But when she was deakumatized in "Protection", Ladybug tried to give her another one but she refused knowing they didn't work and yet after a heart relieving conversation with her friends she accepts it.

During "Emotion", after being restored as Ladybug, she looked for Felix, but seeing him hounded by an angry Kagami and Adrien worried about her safety she smiled.

In "Pretension", when Kagami is chased by her akumatized mother once again, Ladybug alongside with Cat Noir try to protect her, only for her being taken away by Argos to save her himself. And when confronting the detransformed Félix, Ladybug demanded him to release Kagami, believing her to be his prisoner, only for her to defend him, stating he's not her enemy, much to the heroine's surprise, but still trusted Kagami to help her to deakumatize Tomoe and also let Félix escape with the Peacock Miraculous.

From "Representation", Marinette discovered that Kagami and Felix were in a relationship and through Once A Upon A Time, they sought her help as Ladybug so they could be together and knew of her identity as the heroine.

In "Re-creation", after Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Longg and her miraculous back to Kagami on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with her and the whole team.

Plagg

Officially meeting Plagg.

At first, Marinette didn't know Plagg but was aware that he is Cat Noir's kwami. She officially meets Plagg in "Style Queen", knowing of the situation she doesn't want him to risk using his powers dangerously, but appreciated his help in defeating Style Queen. She is relieved when he reassures her that Cat Noir will be back next time.

After having their memories erased in "Oblivio", Marinette meets Plagg again, but, like Tikki, she is afraid of him.

Becoming Plagg's temporary owner.

In "Reflekdoll", they meet again when he mistakes her for Adrien who was transformed into Reflekta. Then, she bombards him with questions but is told, "It's a long story." Regardless, she transforms into Lady Noir, and after the titular villain's defeat, Marinette bids farewell to Plagg, believing their time together was awesome. During "Kwamibuster", she becomes angry that Plagg's obsession with cheese caused her and Cat Noir's identities to be compromised, advising her partner to make sure this doesn't happen again and that they are a perfect match.

During Mr. Ramier's 72nd akumatization, as Ladybug she has Plagg's help again in deakumatizing him.

After Cat Noir's departure, Marinette got an earful from Plagg about the reason why his owner left was because he felt she was paying more attention to the other holders than him leading to his heart breaking in "Kuro Neko" and aware that they needed to make up Plagg persuaded her to return the ring to his original owner. But Marinette stubbornly refuses, she tries to choose a new owner for him but being aware of the rules it was to no avail, until the kwami convinced her to let him choose his owner unaware she was being tricked into returning the ring to his original owner as he planned.

In "Passion", after being marked by the titular villain; Marinette briefly becomes Plagg's owner leading to the return of Lady Noire until the said villain's defeat.

During "Kwami's Choice", seeing Kitty Noir as Cat Noir's successor Marinette was aware that it wasn't just Tikki that picked a new owner but Plagg too. However the kwamis adventures with Scarabella and Kitty Noire was short lived especially when Plagg and Tikki end up captured by Monarch but not before they use their powers alerting their original owners. As Ladybug along with the Resistance, Marinette rescued Plagg and yet, they were both baffled on how their enemy found them so easy nonetheless he was prepared to find a new owner until his guardian told him to return to Cat Noir to which Plagg agrees to but wished to say goodbye to Kitty Noire before he does which she allows.

Once resuming her mantle as Ladybug she was proud of Plagg for his bravery.

They didn't reunite until the "Last Day", when she saw him appear in her hiding place in the Agreste mansion with Cat Noir's ring sadly informing her that she is on her own. After the battle ended in Monarch's defeat, Marinette didn't listen to Plagg's nor Tikki's judgement about trusting him which led to her downfall and the kwamis being taken from her. After Venom effects wore off when the Bee Miraculous was surrendered. Marinette saw Plagg in his true form as the wish was being granted the kwami of destruction was returned to her then back to Cat Noir.

Jessica Keynes/Sparrow/Eagle

At first, Marinette met Jessica as her first alter ego, the Sparrow, when the American heroes saved the plane they were traveling on for Friendship Week. As things continued, Marinette got along pretty well with her, seen at their rooftop party.

As Ladybug, when she saw that Sparrow needed help during the fight against Techlonizer, the heroine jumped to her rescue. When trouble was escalating in New York because of Hawk Moth akumatizing Techno Pirate again into Miraclonizer, leading to all the adult heroes running wild, she was called upon by the young American heroes for her help. While trying to contain the crisis, Ladybug and Sparrow had realized that Hawk Moth was using the powers of a Miraculous that they had never seen before: the Eagle Miraculous. Through careful planning and by tricking Doorman into helping them, they were able to retrieve the miraculous, and needing to return the heroes to normal, Ladybug tossed it to Sparrow. Now with her changed into Eagle and the effects of Liberation reversed, they were able to defeat Techno Pirate. Afterwards, seeing Eagle attempting to return the miraculous but also seeing Eagle's courage, bravery, determination and noble heart, Ladybug allowed her to keep it, knowing she'll use it well.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Monarch's defeat Eagle is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding.

As of "The Last Day", Ladybug unknowingly had Eagle's help in defeating the Miraculized army.

Aeon/Uncanny Valley

At first, Marinette met Aeon as her first alter ego Uncanny Valley, when the American heroes saved the plane they were traveling on for Friendship Week. As it continued she got along pretty well with her seen at their rooftop party.

As Ladybug, when she saw that Uncanny Valley needed help during the fight against Techlonizer the heroine jumped to her rescue and was horrified she was destroyed but relieved that the robot heroine was repaired. Feeling devastated after the fight, Marinette was surprised that Uncanny Valley came to her figuring out her identity along with asking for help in stopping Hawk Moth and Miraclonizer. But Marinette was hesitant believing she couldn't be her alter ego without Cat Noir, when Uncanny mentions being able to bring him back she trusts her with the hero's Miraculous. After Cat Noir was retrieved, through careful planning and by tricking Doorman into helping them, they were able to retrieve the jewel back and with Eagle reversing the effects of Liberation they were able to defeat Techno Pirate.

Afterwards, when Ladybug voiced concerns about their identities Uncanny saw as no concern because after their conversation she would erase the knowledge from her memory. With that Ladybug was thankful towards Uncanny for bringing her and Cat Noir back together.

Fei Wu/Ladydragon

First meeting Fei.

At first, Marinette unknowingly had her things stolen by Fei. However believing she was being chased by shady characters, Marinette tried to help her. But later when she ends up lost in the city and meets Fei again while trying to outrun the shady characters she saw before, and with her help, they escape. Briefly, she is relieved that she found someone who understands her, and they formally introduce themselves to each other. While bonding, Marinette explains the importance of her earrings, and Fei sympathizes with her. Then they leave for a place where her earrings were found, but a man, named Cash, wanted a hefty price for them. Fei tried to negotiate, but Marinette couldn't understand them. Seeing it end on sour terms, she didn't want to leave until she saw Fei get them back, although not by honest means and lectured her about it. Soon they were chased by Cash's goons but received help from unexpected places.

Shocked by Fei's betrayal.

Losing them, Marinette was brought to Fei's home, seeing that she was on her own as well as going through her own hardships. When found by Cash again, she was crushed to know that Fei was the cause of her "misfortune", even doubting if they were friends. Spotting an akuma, despite not being completely sure of Fei's intentions, Marinette refused to leave her when she needed to transform into Ladybug, telling her that she is one of the good guys. She learns it was Fei's job to protect the Prodigious. Knowing the situation, she tells Fei to hide but thanks her when she comes in as Ladybear and as the new Renren. During the scuffle against Hawk Moth and King Cash, she saw that Fei had trouble unlocking the power of the dragon. Despite the two of them, along with Cat Noir, cornering Hawk Moth, they get bigger problems when Mei Shi becomes akumatized. The trio work together in stopping YanLuoShi from destroying the city.

Forgiving Fei.

This results in Ladybug losing her partner and Fei fleeing in shame. Hearing Fei cry below her, Marinette reunites with her to apologize for not forgiving her, which the latter says she doesn’t deserve it but retorts knowing she did it for a good cause. Hearing Fei mentioning her father's teachings, Marinette guides her in the right direction to fully understanding the dragon's value in which she was saved. By working together, they stopped YanLuoShi. Afterwards, Marinette saw Fei had passed another test, reprimanding Cash for his actions. Later, they celebrate Marinette's great-uncle’s 60th birthday as friends and honorary sisters.

As of "The Last Day", Ladybug unknowingly had Ladydragon's help in defeating the Miraculized army.

Kwamis

At first, Marinette didn't know about the existence of the other kwamis except hers, Cat Noir's and Hawk Moth's until she learns about the rest of them from Master Fu.

In "Sandboy", Marinette is worried for Nooroo and hopes to free him from Hawk Moth's clutches she was really close to freeing him along with his siblings in "Destruction".

Through, the use of Peacock Miraculous, Ladybug discovered in "Heroes Day", that Hawk Moth had Dusuu in his clutches as well.

As for the kwamis inside the Miracle Box, they get along quite well. They allow her to use their respective jewels to defeat the titular villain in "Kwamibuster", and they all live with her as of "Miracle Queen" when she becomes the guardian.

Taking care of one kwami to sixteen.

In "Truth" and "Lies", the kwamis gave Marinette a hard time to due their fascination with the modern world. They become even harder to control in "Furious Fu" when they all beg to see Master Fu again.

However, they do genuinely care for Marinette, as shown in "Gang of Secrets", when they try to help Marinette cope with her sadness. As well as with her Guardian duties such as helping her clean up her room and design work in "Mr. Pigeon 72" and "Queen Banana".

During "Hack-San", when going on vacation in London with her parents Marinette told the kwamis to behave themselves and had Alya temporarily watch over them.

When some of them were found by Manon and her friends in "Simpleman", she agreed with the children calling them kwashies. In "Dearest Family", Marinette attempted to get some galette pieces for them, but discovering they were eaten by Tikki aware of what happened she didn't listen to their warning about Tikki's craving but quickly realized how right they were especially Sass. After Tikki calmed down and Marinette's family was saved, she offered them pieces of galette but seeing them hesitant Marinette assured them that Tikki had her cravings under control and most likely will listen when the kwamis warn her about something.

In "Shadow Moth's Final Attack", her obsession over Adrien (and trickery by Felix) causes her to lose them and their respective jewels to Shadow Moth calling herself the worst guardian ever. But despite it all and giving into brief despair she determined to rescue them all.

Due to Monarch's greed, she saw him hastily overtax the kwamis powers in "Evolution" but using his greed against him she managed to save Fluff but not the others when returning to her room, Marinette began miss them.

Months prior before their capture Marinette trained the kwamis on what to do if they were captured by Monarch and forced to tell him her location. When the plan was put into action in "Destruction", she was briefly reunited with them bearing no ill will at what Monarch forced them to do. But was distraught when the villain escapes with them. In "Jubilation", her greatest desire is to see them free and reunited with their rightful owners.

Through all the kwamis that Monarch used Ladybug realized that Paris wasn't terrorized by sentimonsters anymore making her suspect that Duusu was freed through Felix's trade but was his owner confirming that in "Emotion". Still harboring a grudge against Felix in "Pretension", she intended to get Duusu back too but when backed into a corner not liking it but knowing of Duusu's situation and refusing to let Monarch gain another power she let him escape with Felix.

From "Representation", through Once A Upon A Time, Marinette learned of Duusu's history with the Agreste's and Graham de Vanily families in how they used the kwami's power to create Adrien and Felix but also how their recklessness, fear, greed and naivety put everyone in severe trouble.

It wasn't until the "Last Day", that Marinette discovered that the other kwamis were held as prisoners in the Agreste Mansion. During Bug Noire's duel against Monarch, despite her managing to get Wayzz back she couldn't call on his power. From the mastermind, she horrifyingly learned that their magic was remade so that only he, the Miraculized and Akumatized could use them. Regardless she was determined than ever to free them. Especially Nooroo once he was freed Marinette would choose his owner personally but during the scuffle Nooroo became lost again. After Monarch's defeat, but before his wish was made she saw him relinquish the remaining kwamis and once they were reunited she remade their miraculouses to their proper forms and allowed the kwamis to stay with their owners on a permanent basis making her dream in "Jubliation" real.

Su-Han

Meeting Su-Han.

At first, Marinette was shocked by his appearance in her room in "Furious Fu", after being confirmed by the kwamis that he is the head of the guardians. Their relationship began to sour when she received a harsh scolding from him about her and Cat Noir being too inexperienced and immature to use the Miraculous and asked for them back. But reminded of Master Fu's trust in them she defied him and after saving her akumatized former master, Marinette was starting to gain Su-Han's approval but was warned that he'd keep an eye on her coming for the box if she failed.

She was surprised to see him again in "Ephemeral", criticizing her for handing out 9 Miraculouses to defeat an akumatized villain, when she only needed Cat Noir. Seeing that it was done because she didn't know Cat Noir's identity and hearing him claim that Cat Noir was like Shadow Moth, Ladybug believed his assumptions were farfetched, but despite her reasoning she was forced to find out, and if not, then Su-Han will take his Miraculous and find a new holder. Sorrowfully agreeing to his demands, Ladybug told him her partner's identity satisfying him. But he never learns his identity due to Sass' power and after Ladybug explains that his actions were based on his fears, he accepts this. Before he leaves, they do Ladybug and Cat Noir's "pound-it".

Hearing of the kwamis' capture in "Multiplication", he harshly demanded the heroes explanation. But before he could scold them any further, Ladybug and Cat Noir scolded Su-Han back about the progress they made, finding a lead to Monarch and about him doing nothing to help them. To her surprise the Grandmaster bowed his head in shame as they were right. Hearing him sorrowfully admit, that he failed to watch them properly due to distractions of the modern world. Easily forgiving him, Marinette asked him to help set things right soon after she saw him leave for the temple to get help.

As of "The Last Day", Ladybug unknowingly had Su-Han's help in defeating the Miraculized army.

After Monarch's defeat, redemption, and wish, Marinette informed Su-Han about retrieving the Miraculous back and was watched by the guardian as she remodel them back to their

original form, receiving the celestial guardian's graditude and gave them to her friends to be permanent holders in order to prevent the Miraculous from being stolen again.

Zoé Lee/Vesperia/Kitty Noire

First meeting Zoe.

Marinette gets along well with Zoé. She met Zoé when the latter arrived at Paris and came to the former's family's bakery to try French croissants. Despite meeting after one of Marinette's tumbles, they immediately get along, with Marinette welcoming her warmly, admiring her fashion style and after learning Zoé didn't have any friends, she hasted to give her a lot of baking goods, conquering Zoé's sympathy.

Afterwards, they met each other at school, revealing that Zoé is Chloé's half-sister; Marinette was the first not to judge her, having already met her real self, but when she tried to talk to her, Zoé mistreated her. Marinette didn't let that change her opinion on Zoé, believing she was just trying to please her sister, and convinced her through texting that she didn't have to pretend to be someone she wasn't with her.

After Zoé was akumatized into Sole Crusher, she captured Marinette, but the latter tried to reason with her. Despite being able to reach and get through to her initially, Shadow Moth was able to convince her otherwise. After she was deakumatized, Marinette welcomed her and introduced Zoé to her friends.

During the film making project in "Queen Banana", she encouraged Zoé to stand up for her role when Chloé took over everything. When Chloe's anger and jealously caused her to become akumatized into the titular villain and went on a rampage for Zoé, Marinette led her to safety. After Chloé was deakumatized, seeing that Zoé cunningly convinced her sister to take the charm by claiming it was a gift from their mother, Marinette praised Zoé, believing that she was the good influence Chloé needed.

In "Deflagration", When Chloé tries to humiliate Marinette by trying to ridicule her dream of being Adrien's girlfriend, Zoé, moved by her desire to protect their happiness as a couple, gathers the courage she needed to confront her half-sister and drag her to her seat, Marinette was grateful for what Zoé did for her and Adrien.

From Alya, Marinette found that Zoe was invited to the Diamond Dance along with the rest of her family but knowing that they were meeting at the cinema she talked to her why she wasn't at the party. Until, Zoe explained that she preferred movie brain-eating zombies opposed to real ones describing the party in such a manner. Making her remember of the same parties and people she had to pretend to be friends with back in New York but due to her coming to Paris and finding real friends Zoe was happier being herself. On top of that knowing that half of her a family distaste for her she believed no one would miss her as compared to Adrien and aware of Marinette's desire to talk to Adrien, Zoe let her have her mask invite.

"Adoration", while planning the end of the school year party with Zoe, while asking her stepfather about having the party at the Effiel Tower, Marinette discovered that Zoe compared to her sister has more meaningful relationships with the Hotel staff and grown in confidence. When she was framed by Chloe for stealing which led to expulsion Marinette was shocked that Zoe took the blunt of the blame until by defeating Vanisher the innocence of both girls was proven. Then, although Marinette admired what Zoe did, she allowed her to express her feelings of love to Adrien but Zoe actually reveals that she had a crush on her since "Sole Crusher", Marinette was touched but Zoe accepted her feelings belonged to Adrien.

As Ladybug, in "Sole Crusher", she stopped the titular villain from destroying the city, and after Zoé's deakumatization, she gave her the Magical Charm as a reminder to embrace her true self.

Choosing Zoe as the new Bee Miraculous holder.

When Chloé was akumatized and went on a rampage in "Queen Banana", seeing Zoé's courage in facing her akumatized half-sister, Ladybug asked for Zoé's help in stopping her; but seeing that she was hesitant in taking the Bee Miraculous, afraid of Chloé's ill reaction. The heroine convinced her otherwise and, after Zoé trasformed into Vesperia, the two heroines worked well together; later, Chloé was deakumatized, but still harbored a grudge against the heroine. And yet, Ladybug voiced concerns about Chloé being akumatized again, but then listened to Vesperia's idea on how to get her sister to accept the magical charm, demonstrating her confidence in the new superheroine.

Like the other team members Ladybug continues to call on her for various missions until she loses the Bee Miraculous making her inactive. In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Vesperia is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding. Upon seeing the statues of her allies being used against her reminds Ladybug of her failure and how much she misses them.

In "Kwamis' Choice", Marinette was aware of Kitty Noire's existence as Plagg's new owner but she didn't know that the female cat holder was Zoe but through the news of seeing how well she and Scarabella worked together, Marinette believed the city was good hands. Or so she thought, it wasn't until they all felt the kwamis use their powers alerting they were captured by Monarch making Marinette figure out that Scarabella's and Kitty Noire's identities have been compromised having both Marinette and Cat Noir resume their mantles.

In "Re-creation", Ladybug unknowingly had Zoé's help in defeating the Miraculized army. After Monarch's defeat, wish, as well as reforging the jewels back to their original forms, Marinette gives Pollen and her miraculous back to Zoe on a permanent basis happy to be reunited with her and the whole team.

Jeanne d'Arc

At first, as Ladybug; Marinette briefly meets the real Jeanne through a side effect of Sass' Second Chance in "Ephemeral" even though the former holder perceived her as an enemy before being sent back to her own time.

In "Reunion", after Marinette understands the true power of her kwagatama she summons a memory version of Jeanne at first being stunned at her presence. Then asked her about her romantic life with her Cat Noir only to be voiced the spirit's annoyance about being asked something so trivial but when Marinette wished to talk to another holder Jeanne explained that she could only talk to those who have the Miraculous as them. When Jalil was akumatized into the Pharoah again, Ladybug was surprised to discover that she was still here as the spirit said she didn't end the reunion.

In order to get to Pharoah by answering a question she saw Jeanne's knowledge and during the fight against him they were polar opposites as Jeanne was quick to take action while Marinette was a thinker after convincing Pharoah to use his book to discover the truth leading to his deakumatization. Marinette received great praise from Jeanne and the answer to her question, hearing her story Marinette learned during Jeanne's time, she and her Black Cat, Dark Grimalkin were on opposite sides of the Hundred Years war fighting in the name of their monarchs. But after finding out their Monarch's deception she and Grimalkin ceased their fighting and fell in love but were branded traitors then fled their horrible fates, relinquished their jewels and disappeared. Then, when Marinette asked if she and Grimalkin lived in peace to which the spirit didn't know only retaining her memories as a holder feeling sorry for her she tried to hug her only to be reminded that she is a spirit and share a laugh before ending the reunion.

Socqueline Wang

Marinette and Socqueline have been friends since at least they both were studying at the Collège Françoise Dupont, with their respective mothers being friends with one another.

Despite being friends they were opposites while Socqueline was full of confidence Marinette, lacked it. Because of that, from a flashback in "Derision", she was watched over by her especially when she was bullied by Chloé and more when it came to being careful especially with her crush on Kim. After he played a cruel prank on her, Marinette tearfully admitted to Socquline that she was right. Upon learning that coming to her defense earned Socqueline a two-week suspension due to Chloé threatening Principal Damocles; Socqueline ended up missing the end-of-the-year party and graduation feeling remorseful Marinette attempted to apologize until the latter told her otherwise about not regretting what she had done and inspired her to stand up for herself. Taking her words to heart Marinette modeled her hair like hers.

After Socqueline's graduation from Françoise Dupont, they kind of drifted apart, as they went to study in different schools the next year. However, their friendship remained intact, as seen when they ended up meeting each other again in "Jubilation". Despite Socqueline's initial worry about leaving Marinette to deal with Chloé all by herself, she told her Chloé wasn't a bother no more making Socqueline relieved and proud of Marinette that learned how to stand up to her.

While out jogging Marinette found her dressed up as her alter ego making her aware that she greatly admires the heroes but knowing of the trouble she could get herself into Marinette tried to dissuade her to not take unnecessary risks, as that would also force them to take risks as well. As Ladybug, she unintentionally proved her point when she took Socqueline's alliance ring and used it as her altergo putting in danger regardless, she was determined to save her from Darker Owl after his defeat Ladybug makes her see that the best way for her to help is to not place herself in unnecessary danger. Unknown to her, Marinette received great help from her by discovering a dark secret about the rings. Nevertheless, Socqueline will always help the heroes in their plans, like she did in "Transmission" and "Perfection".

Félix Fathom/Flairmidable/Argos

Marinette never knew Félix personally, but was shocked to see him (pretending to be Adrien) sending an insulting video message, and Marinette quickly knew he wasn't Adrien. However that led to Alya, Rose and Juleka's akumatization. Also because of Félix's stealing Adrien's phone, the latter never saw her video where she confessed her love for him.

As Ladybug, they're in bad terms with each other, where after saving Félix from her akumatized friends, he tried to force her to kiss him, which led Ladybug to punch him in self-defense and to realize he wasn't the real Adrien, and Cat Noir arrived and told her he was Félix, Adrien's identical cousin, and Félix quickly managed to steal the Punishers Trio's akumatized tablet, and Ladybug told him to break it to defeat the villains, but was shocked when Félix instead decided to help Hawk Moth to get her and Cat Noir's Miraculouses in exchange of a piece of jewelry.

Despite that encounter, Ladybug was still willing to save Félix from his akumatized uncle (who was really a sentimonster of the real Gabriel Agreste), when the villain was determined to capture him.

In "Risk, after being influenced by said supervillain, Ladybug decided to convince Adrien to stand up to his father instead of forcing him to go in a world trip with Lila Rossi, however she was unaware that Félix and Adrien swapped places to avoid the latter from going to said trip. And this trick led her to lending him the Dog Miraculous, enabling him to become the superhero Flairmidable, and she revealed that her yo-yo allowed her to access to her Miracle Box, quickly they traveled to the past at the time where Risk was akumatized to tag his akumatized object with Fetch and then returned to the desolated present where Flairmidable used his power to retrieve said object and deakumatize Risk, freeing all Parisians from his influence. And Ladybug congratulated "Adrien" for his success and the two did pound it, and in the sewers they detransformed and Marinette once again thanked him for his help and offered to take him to the train, however she was surprised when "Adrien" refused to go back to the train and instead wanted to stay and help her, saying she gave him the courage to stand up to Gabriel, which flattered her.

After recharging the Kwamis, the two met up with the other heroes and introduced Flairmidable to the rest of the team and then explained her plan to defeat the sentimonster Strikeback, and didn't notice Flairmidable secretly tagging her yo-yo with his ball and he quietly abandoned the mission. After defeating Strikeback, Ladybug went to the sewers to retrieve the Dog Miraculous from Félix but he wasn't here and she arrived to the Agreste mansion, finding the real Adrien, who was confused when she asked him for the Dog Miraculous and revealed her she gave it to Félix, much to her horror which intensified when Félix used Fetch to steal her yo-yo and thus the Miraculouses in her box and panics and when retransforming she found he gave away all the Miraculouses to Shadow Moth, who named himself Monarch.

In "Multiplication", shortly after retrieving the Rabbit Miraculous from Monarch. Ladybug informed Cat Noir about her mistaking Félix for Adrien and giving him the Dog Miraculous realizing he must know who Monarch is and quickly used their Space power up to fly to London and find Félix. However at the Fathom apartments, the heroes only found his mother Amelie there claiming that her son hasn't returned home and doesn't know where he was. However, unknown to Ladybug, Amelie was lying to protect her son from them and that he was really in hiding with the Peacock Miraculous in his possession, which he got in exchange of the other Miraculouses.

Due to Félix's actions, Marinette briefly decided to let go of her feelings for Adrien and briefly fell in love with Cat Noir.

They encountered each other in "Emotion", when Marinette infiltrated Gabriel's Diamond's Dance and approached Félix (impersonating Adrien again), told him about her feelings and turned to leave. But Félix took her hand and started dancing with her but told her the party guests were monsters, which quickly made Marinette realize he wasn't Adrien, but Félix, who revealed having the Peacock Miraculous in his possession and after transforming into Argos. He revealed his sentimonster Red Moon, which allowed him to disappear anyone he wanted and quickly kidnapped Marinette, who angrily demanded to know what he did to Adrien, and Argos told her he cared about his cousin and he was lucky to have her and put her inside a dumpster to protect her from Red Moon. Marinette determinedly transformed into Ladybug and watched Argos disappear all Parisians before angrily confronting him about his betrayal in "Strikeback", and giving the Miraculouses to Monarch not caring about endangering innocent people, to which Argos calmly confirmed but corrected her that he worked for no one and only did that to get the Peacock Miraculous and his wish to create a free world without oppressors. But Ladybug refused to surrender her Miraculous and allowed Argos to disappear her to let him see the consequences of his actions, which he did thanks to Adrien and Kagami, and was restored by him.

In "Pretension", learning Argos had returned to Paris and kidnapped Kagami, Ladybug became determined to get her friend and the Peacock Miraculous back, but when she and Cat Noir found them, they were surprised when Kagami defended him, stating she wasn't a prisoner and he wasn't an enemy but misunderstood. And when confronted by the villain Matagi Gozen, Ladybug decided to trust Félix and allow him to escape with the Peacock Miraculous, hoping they won't regret it.

In "Representation", unknown to her that he and Kagami noticed her crying that Adrien went to London, but she was fooled by Felix's impersonation again and then led to the school where she watched him and Kagami put on a play to tell her the truth and face the man of the son that he loves. By learning of Felix's family history she fully understood why Felix did what he did and like Adrien he was sentimonster too.

In "Re-creation", he joined with Team Miraculous on the rooftop and set off on another adventure.

Gabriel Agreste/Betterfly

Marinette was surprised when Betterfly saved her.

She first met him as Marinette when he appeared in her room through Alya who was kamikotized into Ubiquity, much to her surprise. However, Betterfly introduced himself, apologized for his sudden appearance and asked for her help to find Ladybug and Cat Noir, to which a distrustful Marinette lied telling him she didn't know how where to find them as she was just a normal girl. But their conversation was cut short by the appearance of Shadybug and Claw Noir, leading Betterfly to take Marinette away to safety.

Once at the Eiffel Tower, Marinette noticed Betterfly receive his purified Kamiko and asked him if it was an Akuma, much to the superhero's confusion, and soon Marinette was saved by the superhero from falling from the tower after it began to fall down because of Claw Noir's Cataclysm, and before the superhero went to confront the rogue Miraculous holders himself, he told her to stay safe and that no one should suffer for a fight that isn't theirs.

Ladybug demanding Shadybug and Claw Noir to release Betterfly.

Seeing the three fight, Marinette was confused until Tikki explained that the trio came from one of billions of parallel universes in the multiverse and that unlike Monarch this incarnation was his good self. Refusing to leave another in need she transformed, despite never believing she would say or do it, Ladybug ordered Shadybug and Claw Noir to release the Butterfly holder and fought alongside him. And after escaping thanks to Betterfly's kamikotizing Cat Noir into an angel-like superhero, they went to the Sewers, where Betterfly told the heroes his story and about his fight against the Supreme asking for their help to stop their counterparts, but Marinette told him about her recent loss of the Miraculous to his bad counterpart Monarch and doubted she and Cat Noir could help his world where they couldn't save their own, to which Betterfly reassured they could as they worked together as a team for the greater good unlike their counterparts, this lifted up Marinette and Adrien's spirits and they agreed to help him.

Ladyfly sent a Kamiko to a willing Gabriel.

When informed by Alya that Shadybug and Claw Noir teamed up with Monarch to set them a trap, Ladybug formulated a plan in where Betterfly willingly lent her his Miraculous and allowed her to kamikotize him to protect her and Cat Noir from Monarch's powers. After reforming Shadybug and Claw Noir and returning the Butterfly Miraculous to Betterfly, just when they were about to go home, Ladybug and the group realized that Monarch hadn't given up this time going after her and Cat Noir's counterparts across the multiverse. Ladybug accepted the kamiko's power turning into Ladybiquity and after their universe counterparts were safe, Ladybug thanked him for helping her to regain hope into defeating Monarch.

In the final battle against Monarch after discovering that he is Gabriel she likely concluded that Betterfly is Gabriel Agreste from an Re-Verse.

Shadybug/Ladybug

Marinette first met her alternate universe counterpart, when she and Claw Noir called for Betterfly and threatened to destroy the main universe.

When seeing the three fight, Tikki told Marinette that Shadybug was the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous from one of billions of parallel universes, although a bad version and at seeing her using her powers without detransforming, Tikki told her that using her Miraculous for evil override the limiter countdown but also risked her counterpart's health of corruption which would inevitably destroy her.

Deciding to help Betterfly, Marinette transformed and demanded her counterpart to give up her Miraculous as they weren't meant to be used for evil, only for the greater good, but Shadybug ignored her and attacked her with her Lucky Charm weapons.

When, she, Betterfly and a kamikotized Cat Noir tried to escape the rogue holders, Ladybug noticed Shadybug hanging from Celesticat's belt and unstrapped it, making her bad counterpart fall into the ground.

Detransformed in the sewers, Marinette sadly asked Tikki if Shadybug could be her alternate self in the alternate universe.

Unknown to her, her suspicion was correct as Shadybug when arriving to Marinette's room, found her diary and saw she had a happier life than her and after detransforming, alternate Marinette tried to use her and Adrien's Miraculouses to summon Gimmi to wish to switch lives with her good counterpart, only to fail by the Supreme's blocking seal.

Upon learning her bad counterpart teamed up with Monarch and set them a trap, Ladybug received the Butterfly Miraculous to become Ladyfly and confronted her counterpart, who ranted at her about her depressing life, as unlike good Marinette, she was bullied by Chloé her whole life and didn't have good friends or a loving mom, making Ladyfly realize she read her private diary but confirmed they were the same person, and detransforming, Marinette reassured her she didn't need a magical jewel to change her life but to love herself, which moved Shadybug and at Marinette's suggestion performed a Miraculous Shadybug, changing her outfit and healing her affliction, much to Shadybug's joy who hugged her good counterpart.

Later, when the two reunited with the others, Ladybug asked her counterpart what would be her new superhero name, and Shadybug decided to call herself Ladybug in honor of her main counterpart. After preventing Monarch from stealing the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses from other universes, Ladybug hugged alternate Ladybug, who returned to her world with her new two teammates.

Ladybug frees Sentibug.

Ladybug and Sentibug teams up.

Ladybug met her sentimonster doppleganger when Cat Noir easily fell for Mayura's trap and came to his rescue. But when Cat believed that there was nothing monstrous about Sentibug despite being so human after the latter summoned a large blaster while she summons a fork. After Ladybug seized the opportunity to grab the Eiffel Tower keychain. She prepared to remove the amok, but stopped after realizing that Cat Noir is right as there is nothing monstrous about Sentibug being except that whoever possesses the amokized object controlled her and that she couldn’t help but follow orders. Instead Ladybug gave Sentibug the keychain, declaring her free, and asks her to help in defeating Mayura.

Grateful that Sentibug agrees to help them to defeat Mayura and take the Peacock Miraculous. However both their joy become horror when she sees Mayura destroy/plus murdering her, Cat Noir attacks Mayura in anger and rage, trying to avenge the deceased sentimonster, but Hawk Moth mocks him about being sentimental on Sentibug, they calls him a real monster for not showing any sympathy.

Ladybug saddened that Sentibug couldn't be brought back

After fixing the damage, they were sad that Sentibug couldn't be brought back by the Miraculous Ladybug's powers and Ladybug disappointingly agreed that the Peacock Miraculous is even more cruel than the Butterfly Miraculous when used wrongly since the power creates life, can also take it away.

Acquaintances

Manon Chamack

Marinette tries to babysit Manon.

Manon, being a child with an energetic and outgoing personality, is tiring for Marinette, who doesn't have experience with siblings or skill in bonding with younger children. No matter how exhausting it is to take care of Manon, Marinette does care for her and her safety, promising to her as Ladybug that she'll save her and Alya from the ice dome they're trapped in and trying to change her back to normal in "The Puppeteer" by Hawk Moth. She will often call Alya to help her babysit Manon, as seen in the episode "Prime Queen".

As of "Puppeteer 2", she continues to babysit Manon, after becoming the guardian she still continues to do so as seen in "Simpleman" but finds it more difficult including her friends. However when she sent them to be watched over by her grandfather until she gets back. Under the effects of the titular villain's powers, she was stopped by Manon and her friends and after following their lead in deakumatizing Rolland as Ladybug she praised the young ones for saving them.

Chris Lahiffe

Chris angry at Marinette after she doesn't let him play video games.

Marinette tries to entertain Chris as much as she can when she babysits him, but it mostly backfires as he tells Marinette is a big boy, insisting that he doesn't play with toys. In "Christmaster", after Marinette sees him discover the presents she made for Adrien, she lied to him because she thought he would tell Nino, who would tell Adrien if she told the truth. Claiming she was one of Santa's elves, which caused him to be upset, then later caused him to be akumatized since he wanted it to be Christmas early. After he was deakumatized, she apologized and told him the truth, which made him disgusted as he found out the presents were for a boy.

After becoming the guardian she still continues to babysit Chris in "Simpleman" but finds it more difficult including his friends until she sent them to be watched over by her grandfather until she gets back.

As Ladybug, she was determined to deakumatize him. Under the effects of Simpleman's powers, she was stopped by Chris and his friends and after following their lead in deakumatizing Rolland as Ladybug, she praised the young ones for saving them.

Dean Gate/Doorman

As Ladybug, she was aware that Doorman was one of the adult heroes running wild in New York because of Hawk Moth akumatizing Techno Pirate again but into Miraclonizer with the powers of a Miraculous that they had never seen before, the Eagle Miraculous. Through careful planning, she was able to trick him into helping them, retrieve the jewel back and with Eagle reversing the effects of Liberation return him to normal.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Monarch's defeat Doorman is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding.

As of "The Last Day", Ladybug unknowingly had Doorman's help in defeating the Miraculized army.

Olympia Hill/Majestia

At first, Marinette met Majestia, when she lead her team in stopping Techno Pirate from causing a plane crash and welcomed Marinette and her friends to New York for Friendship Week.

As Ladybug, she gets reprimanded by Majestia for their recklessness during their fight against Techlonizer despite that when Majestia runs wild with all the other adult heroes as a result of Hawk Moth akumatizing Techno Pirate again but into Miraclonizer with the powers of a Miraculous that they had never seen before the Eagle Miraculous. Through careful planning and by tricking Doorman into helping them, Ladybug leads her team in the fight against him retrieving the jewel back and with Eagle reversing the effects of Liberation they were able to return Majestia and the others to normal. After seeing how the young heroes handled everything on their own Ladybug earned Majesta's recognition.

In "Jubilation", in her dream after recovering the Miraculouses they are returned to their rightful owners and Monarch's defeat Majestia is seen attending her and Cat Noir's wedding.

Through careful planning and by tricking Doorman into helping them, Ladybug leads her team in the fight against him, retrieving the miraculous, and with Eagle reversing the effects of Liberation, they were able to return Knightowl and the others to normal. After seeing how the young heroes handled everything on their own, Ladybug earned Knightowl's recognition.

Marinette is delighted when Gabriel declares her hat the winner in a fashion design contest.

Marinette treats Gabriel with respect, knowing how formal and strict he can be as Adrien's father, but she also admires his work as a fashion designer and hopes to be on good terms with him. In "The Collector" finding out that he won't let Adrien go back to school until the book was returned, she gave it back to him, saying she borrowed it believing it was a portfolio of Adrien giving him the impression that she was one of his son's admirers. She asks Gabriel where he got it, being informed he got it during a trip overseas. During "The Queens' Battle", she receives good praise from him when talking about her derby hat design.

In the alternate future of "Cat Blanc", Marinette is approached by Gabriel demanding that her relationship with his son ends to preserve his company's image, and if not, he'll pull Adrien out of school. Not wanting her love to suffer, she tearfully agrees to his demands unaware that it was a ruse just so he could akumatize her.

Over time through Marinette and Adrien becoming a couple, she gets the impression that Gabriel doesn't approve of their relationship then suggested that it might be a misunderstanding and to talk to him in "Emotion".

Marinette torn between her dream to be a famous fashion designer and Adrien after being offered a bribe/threatened by Gabriel.

But when it does happen in "Pretension", during their talk she discovers that they both have different ideas in fashion as she was willing to listen to others and help express themselves. While her idol compared her to a pancake as with his support Marinette could become the greatest designer but she'd do it without Adrien and was told what the fashion industry is really like unveiling his dark side about he changes people into what he thinks they should be. Even being told that the love she has for his son is nothing more than an illusion, even being pushed to choose between having her future or her dreams. A little saddened she leaves but with a smirk towards Gabriel, Marinette shows him that she'll never give up on her love for Adrien or abandoned him and criticized Gabriel about his pancakes then leaves.

Outside of the mansion, Marinette loses her nerve and hyperventilates asking what she done and couldn't believe she did that unknown to her that her outburst towards her idol made him decide to separate them by the school year's end. In "Revolution", Adrien sadly tells Marinette of his departure and despite it, she refuse to break her promise to him and raced to the airport and the two shared their first kiss, witnessed by his father. In "Representation", she tries to brave a face for her friends' sake and runs off when she thinks Adrien disobey his father to see her when it was really Félix. Despite learning Adrien's family history, it didn't change her love for him and wants to negotiate for his freedom in "Conformation".

Despite not meeting him in her civilian form yet like everyone else she knew Monarch was out there. It wasn't until "Ladybug", she was touched by his akumas when put into enough vulnerability nearly surrendering her earrings to the villain but her akumatization was called off when Nathalie was too sick to continue.

Just like Adrien through the events of "Miracle Queen" and without knowing it, Marinette also experienced how her archenemy felt. As they both did reckless and/or selfish actions that led them push others away but also into danger. But her sadness in "Truth" and "Gang of Secrets", likely stemmed from her accepting that unlike Gabriel, the past shouldn't be changed for one's own selfishness. In "Shadow Moth's Last Stand", it hit a critical point when through him she learns what happens when someone obsesses over what they want or tries to control everything.

Even more so without knowing it yet Marinette also unintentionally through the problem she partially created she inherited his problems.

After rescuing Fluff, Marinette was shocked to meet Monarch in person for the first time in "Destruction", with him asking for the gift scared she keeps her cool and gives him the key and told him that Ladybug trusted her with Mouse Miraculous.

Then, her breakdown about her love failures don't go unnoticed by Monarch in "Elation" being touched by his megakuma promising her she could have Cat Noir's love if she knew who he was in exchange for the heroes jewels and she nearly gives him her earrings until being stopped by Cat Noir with a kiss making her realize how wrong she was. Also unknown to her is that Monarch is beginning to hate her as much as her alter ego.

Returning to the pool which was the place of her first heartbreak because of Kim's and Chloe's prank, Marinette suffered a terrible panic attack which Monarch noticed and attempted to akumatize her again in "Derision". But this time knowing what's going on instead of giving into him, she reexamined her past, understood why she was panicking, then made peace with it rejecting his akuma and proud of herself for doing so.

In "Stoneheart (Origins - Part 2)", Ladybug and Cat Noir are introduced to Hawk Moth when akumas form a large likeness of his head while the two duo are fighting Stoneheart at the Eiffel Tower. Rather than being intimidated, she confidently warns Hawk Moth that she and Cat Noir will find him, and he'll be the one giving them his Miraculous.

With Hawk Moth, however, she is fully aware that he is the culprit for the akumas and supervillains. She works very hard to stop him, not wanting him to win via taking her Miraculous.

In "The Collector" through deductive reasoning, Marinette concludes that Hawk Moth's secret identity is Gabriel Agreste, but she was dissuaded when he akumatized himself despite saving him she was unknowingly correct. After learning about the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses' combined wishing power from Wang Fu in "Robostus", she agreed that Hawk Moth must not get access to her and Cat Noir's Miraculouses, let alone him getting more would be dangerous in "Sapotis".

During "Heroes' Day", when Ladybug saw Hawk Moth commence his biggest plan yet, she expressed minor doubt on how to beat him since they had never faced him before and he had found a way to amplify his powers. Despite being enemies and talking to an illusion, she tried to convince him to do the right thing. It's also implied that she is aware that Hawk Moth made a mistake, but is unaware of what it is.

In "Miraculous Shanghai", Ladybug noticed that Hawk Moth has created less akumas recently, taking the pleasure to relax. But actually he was in Shanghai trying to steal the Prodigious even though she didn't know what it was; she couldn't let him have it working alongside Renren and Cat Noir to do so. Backing him into a corner, she advised him to surrender. However, she was shocked when he turned his akuma on Mei Shi akumatizing the guardian into his biggest villain yet. Even more so, when YanLuoShi went turncoat and eradicated him implying that Ladybug wanted Hawk Moth's actions to be justified but in prison.

In "Ladybug", she was horrified that Hawk Moth had no sympathy for her sentimonster doppelganger and agreed with Cat Noir that he is a monster. Continuing their fight against him in the alternate future of "Cat Blanc", she and Cat Noir managed to corner him in his secret chamber, but was shocked that what she had figured out previously was true, and his actions. Despite this, she remains true to her duty to stop him, aware of the price of using such power. However it's likely deep down she felt sad for him too as her own archenemy gave up on her before she was given the chance to try and find a better way help him. During "The Battle of the Miraculous" despite trying to save Master Fu and her friends, she is still affected by his taunting.

Being attacked by akumatized villains and sentimonsters together, Ladybug realizes that Hawk Moth is using the power of the Peacock Miraculous as Shadow Moth regardless she becomes more determined to stop him. Unknown to her through "Truth" he discovered about her crush on his son. Realizing the true power of Creation, she can now create Magical Charms and give them to the deakumatized victims to protect them from him taking in the pleasure of limiting his victims preventing him from using them for his own benefit.

During "Optigami", she noticed that Shadow Moth had been using information he gained from "Miracle Queen" against of them and aware of his sneaky nature, Ladybug started to understand his tricks foiling his attempt to learn her identity.

Due to his sneaky tactics Marinette had nightmares about him discovering her identity and obtaining the Miracle Box in "Sentibubbler". Even more so, when she saw him as his fused alter ego; noticing the amokized object and the two Miraculouses but aware she couldn't take all. As Pegabug, she surprised him taking his amokized object first saving Alya's family. Seeing him escape again she was disheartened but was assured she'd get another chance to stop him.

Witnessing her family being reakumatized in "Dearest Family", despite her giving them Magical Charms, she realized that he found a way to break them by turning his akumas into Mega akumas. Even though, she continues to give his victims Magical Charms hoping they would keep him at bay someway.

Unknown to her because of her outburst towards Cat Noir and unaware of partner's identity in "Glaciator 2", she almost gave her archenemy the opportunity to akumatize her partner creating the nightmare she was tried to avoid.

Before Sass' Second Chance in "Ephemeral", unknown due to their slip up Marinette was shocked that Shadow Moth obtained her partner's Miraculous and soon hers.

In "Shadow Moth's Final Attack", without knowing it as Ladybug, she witnessed Shadow Moth create his deadliest plan yet, first she was infected by the villain Risk and forced into making mistakes. Even though, she and her friends defeated the sentimonster despite it all (thanks to trickery) Ladybug was devastated that Hawk Moth stole all Miraculouses from her. With her archenemy nearly having them all but thanks to Cat Noir she was filled more determination than ever to stop him.

In "Evolution", despite his threats she continues to defy him assuring the people once again of their promise to protect them. Seeing a time version of Monarch and herself, she knew he couldn't wait to use the jewels against them starting with the Rabbit Miraculous. Through constant time hops and overtaxing the kwamis, she warned him of the consequences of it and demanded the jewels back. With the help of Alix and playing on his greed, the trio manages to rescue Fluff but not before he gets away with the other kwamis leaving Ladybug determined to stop him.

Anticipating his actions of using the kwamis to find her, Ladybug planned a trap for him but much to her distraught and shock Monarch gets away with them but not before the villain forcibly cataclysms himself. Even though, they are enemies she didn't want to see him harmed. Weeks go by and Ladybug has grown wary that Monarch hasn't appeared until he hatched a new in plan in "Multiplication", she was shocked that he had discovered a way to give his villains the powers of the other jewels without giving them away.

In "Jubilation", due to the Pig Miraculous power, it was shown that Ladybug's biggest desire was to defeat Monarch and retrieve the Butterfly Miraculous, but when she wakes up from her dream, she was really upset when she realized Monarch used Gift to play on her and Cat Noir's emotions. She figured out that out that Monarch is using the power of the alliance rings to find her but unknown to her, that's how he transferred the powers to his villains. When that looked like a possibility in "Illusion", by the Resistance Marinette hesitantly agrees with the plan as Ladybug but ends the same way as in "The Collector" being right but tricked.

Then in "Kwamis' Choice", from Tikki, Marinette accepted that her fight against Monarch is over and that someone would succeed her but it was short lived seeing the kwamis powers spread like wildfire, she knew Tikki and Plagg were caught by Monarch donning a disguise and lucky charm in hand. She approached Monarch explaining the destruction and tried to convince him to return her Miraculous so the damage could be repaired but knowing he wouldn't she fooled him with a fake lucky charm and with the Resistance's help her powers were restored and then in turned retrieved her partner's Miraculous from him. However they were left baffled on how he found them so quickly. Regardless understanding that she and Cat Noir are the only ones who can defeat him they resume their mantles as well as praise their kwamis and their allies for their bravery against the mastermind.

In "The Last Day", Marinette discovered that Félix and Kagami were really telling her the truth about Gabriel being Monarch. After being confronted by a bunch of Miraculized, she's forced to seek cover and retransformed in the kitchen.

After fusing with the Black Cat ring, she transformed to Bug Noire and the two have their final battle. They first fight in the kitchen to the foyer and down to the basement.

Down in the crypt, Bug Noire discovered Mrs. Agreste's comatose state and denounces Monarch about how far he's willing to cause so much destruction and lives, just for Emilie to come back, heal his Cataclysm wound, and for Adrien and Kagami to be the world's new eternal icons. She also chewed him out about how he no longer cares about Adrien as a person anymore; not as long as Adrien gives him a horrible excuse for his terrible deeds. Despite defeating him and giving him the hard and sad truths, she's willing to come up with a result with him. Gabriel used Venom on her and took the two Miraculouses for himself. Realizing Marinette's right, Gabriel sacrificed himself for Nathalie to come back and to be with Emilie in the afterlife and ask Marinette not to let Adrien know about any of this.

After the wish, Marinette was saddened that Gabriel redeemed himself and that he could've become a better person like his heroic counterpart: Betterfly, if he wasn't Cataclysmed by Cat Noir in "Destruction".

Chloé Bourgeois/Queen Bee

Marinette has been in the same class with Chloé for four years and states that she has always been bullied by her. On the first day of the new school year, she was frustrated that Chloé and Sabrina force her out of her normal seat, but didn't protest due to being intimidated by her social standing. Until Alya encouraged her to stand up to Chloé, but it isn't until after her success as Ladybug at the end of "Stoneheart", now full of confidence, Marinette calls out Chloé for her awful actions telling her to take her attitude and sit somewhere else.

Marinette dislikes Chloé and disapproves of her actions. Hating how she mistreats everyone, including her "best friend" Sabrina. As her main target, she constantly deals with Chloé's contemptuous attitude towards her. Nevertheless, Marinette occasionally manages to outmaneuver her with thrilling success, such as proving in "Mr. Pigeon" that Chloé stole her derby hat design by revealing her own signature as a unique design element that Chloé and Sabrina neglected to remove, or when she successfully ends her campaign for class representative in "Darkblade" by contrasting her own helpfulness and honesty from Chloé's selfishness and manipulation.

In "Despair Bear", she is annoyed when Chloé disrupts her father's cooking lesson. When Chloé invited all their classmates to a party, Marinette is skeptical of her seeming change of heart. While she does, as Ladybug, later appreciate Chloé's assistance in stopping Despair Bear, Marinette agrees with Adrien that she will probably never fully change, reverting from kindness towards her classmates to usual behavior

In "Zombizou" when she realizes it was Chloé who ruined her present to Miss Bustier, Marinette becomes so angry she almost gets akumatized by Hawk Moth. But thanks to Miss Bustier's mentorship, Marinette understood that she can have a heart of gold when she needs to.

During "Queen Wasp", she becomes shocked that Chloé got disregarded by her mother Audrey, feeling sorry for her and more so when she ended up the Bee Miraculous. As herself, Marinette helped her rival fix things with her mother. In "Malediktator" when Marinette hears that Chloé is leaving for New York, she took pleasure in the news, believing that fewer people will be akumatized and that no one else won't have to deal with her cruel nature anymore. Then, taking Adrien's words to heart, she begins to see that there's more to Chloé than she originally thought, and after seeing her actions as Queen Bee, Marinette and her classmates throw her a party to thank her, hoping that Chloé's time as a hero will help her become a better person.

Her hopes were dashed after the betrayal, Marinette sees that Chloé's attitude had gotten worse towards everyone; surprised that she treated even her own sister Zoé so poorly, and was responsible for Zoé's behavior change in "Sole Crusher". Once again in "Queen Banana", when she tried to takeover the class' movie project calling it unfair and was nerved with her demands. Having enough of Chloé's fantasy, Marinette rallied everyone in making their original movie. After Chloé is deakumatized once again and upon seeing her accept the charm from Zoé, Marinette hoped Chloé having a sister around would finally improve her.

From "Deflagration", Marinette continues to be the target of Chloé's harassment and bullying when she ridiculed her during a lunch date with Adrien in the cafeteria. When Chloé went as far as to reveal her rival's love towards Adrien hoping to embarrass her, Marinette showed no fear as everyone else already knew and supported her much to Chloé's anger.

Marinette sees that Chloe continues to take things even lower in "Adoration", as she took advantage of her friend Sabrina just to frame her.

And yet, they cross paths at the Diamond Dance in "Emotion", while Marinette was disguised she discovered Chloé's "niceness" but it ended when Chloé blew her cover and removed her mask despite that she was horrified that Chloé disappeared.

From "Derision", a year prior Marinette was the constant target of Chloe's pranks and humiliates by her every change she got because of their social standings so much to the point where she would avoid her. Worst of all, when it came to her first crush Chloe along with Kim pulled a mean trick that traumatized her love life so much that Marinette vowed the next time she'd fall in love with another guy she'd know everything about him so she wouldn't get tricked or hurt like that again. Returning to the place of where it started Marinette discovered the trauma of the trick she and Kim had pulled was still there and nearly led to her akumatization but by reexamine the past, she fully understood happened and made peace with it driving the akuma away.

By "Confrontation", from Sabrina, Marinette heard from her that Chloe and Lila were working on another scheme to frame her but Marinette turned the tables on her with her own plan.

Marinette vows to put an end to Chloé's nastiness like she did to Lila in "Confrontation".

Even with their latest scheme crushed Marinette saw that Chloe wasn't done yet, as she continued to make everyone miserable even up to the point where she fired Ms. Bustier from her job and nearly expelled her once again regardless she vowed to stop her.

In "Revolution", after Chloé stages a coup after her father is forced to resign as Mayor of the city in "Collusion" with the help of Gabriel and Tomoe Tsurugi, she starts imposing new laws and rules. At first, she tried to ask Adrien if he could talk to his father but he turned it down then later along with everyone Marinette held a strike against Chloe unless Ms. Bustier and Mr. Damocles were reinstated. By the episode's end, Chloé's reign as Mayoress is over and she's forced to leave by her father, Marinette saddened about Adrien's departure received a final message from Chloe her about him, only for the latter to tell the former to be quiet, since she already knows and that he will always love her; knowing Chloé couldn't do anything about it. Marinette slaps Chloé with the hard truths, saying she lost any and all power over everyone in Paris. Even calling her "Ridiculous. Utterly. Ridiculous", getting justice for herself and everyone Chloé bullied over the years, and those she had driven to akumatization before ending the call on her for good, leaving Chloé in tears.

Chloé's love for Ladybug does not change Marinette's attitude; in fact, it makes her more annoyed when she has to watch over or protect her, as seen in several episodes. Considering Chloé to be her rival for Adrien's affection, Marinette doesn't like how she is always throwing herself at him, to the point of using her Lucky Charm in "The Bubbler" out of jealousy, to prevent her from kissing him while slow dancing. However, as the series progresses as her alter ego, Marinette begins to see another side of Chloé, seeing her as brave, loyal, remorseful and courageous, starting in "Despair Bear" when she thanks her for her help commenting that she was nice to do so.

In "Kung Food", Chloé complains that Ladybug took too long to rescue her and threatens to tell everyone. Ladybug roughly drops her with a sarcastic "Oops!" in retaliation and as payback for sabotaging the Celestial soup and getting Cheng Shifu akumatized.

In "Zombizou", Ladybug she sees Chloé's regretful apology and her brave action of sacrificing herself to stop Cat Noir from infecting her. The next day at school, Marinette takes back her angry comments from yesterday and commends Chloé for helping Ladybug.

Seeing Chloé’s recklessness and irresponsibility as Queen Bee during "Queen Wasp", Ladybug demanded the Bee Miraculous back but things go from bad to worse when she and Cat Noir find her akumatized with it. After Queen Wasp's defeat when Ladybug apologetically told Chloé that the Miraculous must be returned, her rival asked for another chance, realizing her mistake. The heroine retorted her own mistake by losing it, encouraging Chloé to do the right thing and thanked her for returning the miraculous.

They get closer as allies in "Malediktator" when Ladybug hears Chloé admit that everyone was right about her having no purpose. Taking Adrien's words to heart, she helped Chloé become honest about what happened and fix her mistake by offering her the Bee Miraculous again. This time, with a calm head, she works well with Queen Bee. After the ordeal and seeing her return the Bee Miraculous without any resistance, Ladybug sees that Chloé fully understands the weight of being a hero. She does the trademark fist-bump with her as Chloé had earned it for doing a good job. The two fight well together in "Mayura".

There split began in "Miraculer", due to Hawk Moth knowing Chloé's identity as Queen Bee, Marinette has been hesitant about giving her the Bee Miraculous, not only out of losing another Miraculous but also putting Chloé and her family in danger, showing that she does care about her. After having come to an understanding, Marinette hopes she didn't hurt Chloé too much.

However, even after that, Chloé continues, in vain, to wait for Ladybug to ask for her help, and in "Heart Hunter", things get worse. When Chloé's parents are akumatized together, Ladybug sees that Chloé is again waiting to receive the Bee Miraculous. She chooses to ignore her, choosing instead to ask Ryuko for help. This leads to drastic consequences, which prompt a disappointed and furious Chloé to ally with Hawk Moth, who gives her the Bee Miraculous.

In "Miracle Queen", Ladybug faces the titular villain, aka the akumatized form of Queen Bee, realizing with dismay that the latter has voluntarily chose to betray her and to ally herself with Hawk Moth and Mayura. After defeating her, she expels Chloé from the team (seemingly for good), which seemed to upset her, as she did not wish for Chloé to go down this road.

In "Queen Banana", Ladybug faces the titular villain once again and when Chloe is deakumatized. She sees that Chloé is still spiteful from their previous encounter, even more so that the heroine had picked a new Bee Miraculous holder. Nonetheless, Ladybug calmly tells Chloé that her anger must be controlled offering her the magical charm as a way to do it. But when Chloé refused, Ladybug was concerned, despite her attitude and actions she didn't deserve to used by Hawk Moth like everyone else.

Chloé appeared in her nightmare in "Sentibubbler", berating her and noting her hypocrisy kicking her off the team for revealing her identity while Alya (who's identity is also known by Hawk Moth) is still allowed to work for Ladybug, implying that Marinette may have had other reasons for being wary to select her. It can be assumed that Marinette still felt guilty about what went down in "Miracle Queen" and possibly in "Queen Wasp".

However even though Marinette hates being compared to Chloé there were incidents where she acted just like her. Using her position as Ladybug out of jealously and anger the same way Chloé used her position as the mayor's daughter to get her way. But unlike Chloé, Marinette felt remorse for her mistakes and did what she could to fix them.

Despite all this, she does not seem to hold any animosity towards Chloé. It can be assumed that Marinette still felt sorry for her, but is hesitant to trust her because of her reckless and selfish actions. Unknown to Marinette it was the neglect that Chloé endured because of her mother that caused some of her behavior.

In "Determination", Ladybug figures out that Chloé is the cause of another akumatization because of her ongoing grudge against her. Through Lila, as Ladybug, she discovered that Chloe continued with her scheming antics in "Confrontation" and especially from "Collusion" to "Revolution", where her unruly behavior caused Ms. Bustier's and Mr. Damocles resignations. Despite deakumatizing Ms. Bustier, she was shocked when Chloé barged in her father's office accusing the heroine of being a villain and capturing her in a net making her realize she misread her lucky charm warning her about Chloé despite it all she and Cat Noir escape but knows that Chloe isn't done with them yet.

As Chloé's reign began, as Ladybug, Marinette was hesitant to do anything against her because she refused to take advantage of her moral code. But things got worse when the heroine decided to act too late as she and Cat Noir fell into resistance protected shellters leaving them powerless and destransforming back. All in all, just to hear Chloé gloat that she had been secretly akumatized but still refusing to give up Ladybug rallied the people to stand up against her and Monarch even with them gone and taking people's courage to heart, the duo obtained their adult powers. Once freed and Chloé defeated, despite everything Ladybug opted to give her a magical charm but was stopped by Andre who promise to correct his errors.

Upon discovering Monarch's identity as Gabriel, horrified by this revelation, Marinette likely figured out that Chloe's downward spiral wasn't only of her own choosing but that he played her like everyone else by doing so with her desire of power and revenge as well as Marinette probably for guilty for not noticing it sooner.

Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca

Marinette hears about Lila (as soon to be under the identity as Cerise) being a new student from Alya, and when she sees her flirting with Adrien, she becomes jealous and upset. She spies on them in the library and gets angry when she hears Lila lie to Adrien and say that she is friends with Ladybug. In addition, Lila states that her vixen superheroine anscestor is more powerful and celebrated than Ladybug. Later at the park when Lila attempts to lie to Adrien about having a Fox Miraculous, Marinette transforms into Ladybug and calls out Lila on all her lies, making her cry and run away, her chances with Adrien shattered. Ladybug eventually regrets her harsh treatment of Lila and uncontrolled jealousy after she realizes that Volpina, whom she was jealous and suspicious of, is the akumatized Lila. Once Volpina is defeated, she apologizes to Lila for her actions, only to have her apology be rejected, with Lila saying they would never be friends, as Ladybug had said earlier on.

In "Chameleon", Ladybug can finally vouch that she's saved Lila's life and offers to make to peace with her. She encourages her to be honest, but unknown to her, Lila's offering of peace is a lie. Despite Lila's lies, as Ladybug, she tries to save Lila from Oni-Chan.

In "Catalyst", when Lila lies to Miss Bustier's class about being in the kingdom of Achu and having been invited by Prince Ali to his palace, Marinette attempts to expose this lie by pointing out that Prince Ali is in the USA, but she is frustrated when Lila deflects the truth once again. Marinette vows to expose Lila's true nature one day.

In "Chameleon", when Marinette chews Lila out about her deceitful nature Lila, retorts that Marinette is either with her or against her. If Marinette is against her, then she'll make Marinette lose all her friends and be all alone. Mortified at what just happened, she complains that Lila is eviler than Chloé and is so upset to the point of tears which leads to her almost being akumatized. When Lila accepts Marinette's choices, she says they're at war, and after this is over, she'll be all alone. Marinette calmly dismisses it by saying, "We'll see." In "Oni-Chan", she is aware that Adrien doesn't have feelings for her.

In "Ladybug", when Marinette is accused of cheating on the mock exam, she knows it was Lila who framed her but can't prove it. This leads to her being expelled from school and nearly akumatizated. Afterwards, knowing that Lila used another lie prove her innocence, Marinette thanks her but is unsure of why she did all this (unknown it was because Adrien convinced her). She becomes aware that Lila can come to her senses sometimes.

During "Illusion", begrudgingly Marinette discovers that Lila is a part of the Resistance too and agrees to work with her unaware that she is Gabriel's personal spy.

Much to Marinette's dismay, she finds out that Lila still continued her threat in "Perfection" and "Protection" with Kagami but both attempts do the opposite and made their friendship stronger.

A critical point hits in "Revelation", when Lila comes after as Marinette for revenge when her and Adrien's strong feelings of love causes Gabriel to angrily strip her of her status as his female model and be replaced with Kagami. Leading to Marinette's position of being class representive being challenged, Lila's akumatization into Hoaxer and her posting lies about Marinette and Paris' heroes. Realizing what to do, she confronted Lila herself, telling her that it was unnecessary to drag and deceive many innoncents into danger just because she was angry and their feud was in between them. She helps Lila reject the megakuma but despite knowing their feud wasn't over. Knowing well enough that she wasn't getting anywhere with her words to prove her deceitful nature by dropping out of the election and letting Lila have her position to prove her own undoing.

Her own undoing comes into fruition in "Confrontation", after being warned by Sabrina on what she and Chloe were going to do Marinette worked with Sabrina to catch them in the act which exposed Lila's deceitful nature to all her classmates and faculty but unknown to her is that Lila's grudge against her isn't over as she is still working with Chloe behind the scenes in "Collusion" and "Revolution". It is revealed that Lila Rossi is now under the identity as Cerise Bianca in disguise, in throughout the series.

After separating Gabriel from the Butterfly Miraculous in "Re-creation", Marinette as AquaBug was unable to find it, as unknown to her, Lila (in disguise under a new identity) somehow managed to retrieve it from the repository without either Marinette or Gabriel noticing and planned to use it to get revenge on Marinette, by enrolling at the same school at her by the next year under a new identity.

Nathalie Sancoeur/Mayura

Marinette and Nathalie don't interact much, but Marinette knows that she is Gabriel's assistant and treats her with respect. Although unknown to her, Marinette received Nathalie's support to have a relationship with Adrien.

She is unaware that Nathalie is Mayura and secretly hates her alter ego wishing to end her reign. Aware that she is Hawk Moth's partner, Ladybug knows of her existence in "Mayura" and "Reflekdoll". The two officially meet in "Miraculer" when she tries to convince Chloé to join her and Hawk Moth.

When the heroine knew of Mayura's deception with a sentimonster of her in "Ladybug", she finds a way to flush her out. After setting her sentimonster counterpart free, she is horrified that Mayura destroyed her, despite being a living creature. During the fight, she notices Mayura's weakened state and catches her, but seeing Cat Noir in the same predicament, Ladybug releases her, knowing she can get her Miraculous another day. Because of Mayura, she knows how of cruel the powers of the Miraculous can be when used for evil, believing her power is more dangerous than Hawk Moth's.

But seeing Shadow Moth use the Peacock Miraculous up to the point of trading with Felix, Ladybug is aware that Mayura is no longer active.

In "Evolution", due to playing on Monarch's greed Ladybug isn't aware it caused their enemy to lose his greatest ally.

Then, as Ladybug and Lady Noire, she fights Nathalie directly as the akumatized villain Safari in "Passion", unaware that she allowed herself to be akumatized so she could take the heroes jewels herself.

In "Conformation", as Ladybug, she infiltrated the Agreste mansion, looking for Nathalie to know of Adrien's wherabouts and neogiate his freedom. However, when looking in her room, she became suspicious when she found Master Fu's tablet there with information on the other Miraculous wielders, but her suspicions were true when she saw Monarch carrying a weakened Nathalie to her bed and detransform into Gabriel, there she overheard him saying he knew Nathalie would betray him as she supported Adrien's relationship with Marinette and left her to relax with her Alliance ring. Then Ladybug turned off and angrily asked Nathalie where Adrien was, being told he was safe but she wasn't as Gabriel sent all humanity after her and Cat Noir. Noticing Nathalie's condition, she offered to take her to the hospital but was told her illness was beyond any medicine, due to her using of the damaged Peacock Miraculous, which made realize Ladybug her former identity as Mayura, to her shock, and in her final moments Nathalie handed her Emilie's phone with her video recordings, urging her to stop Gabriel, his madness and also telling her to transform back before succumbing to her illness and falling into a deep sleep as a result, much to Ladybug's sadness who urged her to wake up.

Mike Rochip/Techno Pirate/Techlonizer/Miraclonizer

Neither as Ladybug nor herself, Marinette has never been on friendly terms with Techno Pirate as he almost took one of the plane's engines nearly causing the plane she and her classmates were on to crash.

Their terms soured even more when, as Ladybug, she discovered that Techno Pirate was akumatized by Hawk Moth and was in league with him. Despite fighting him, she wasn't able to deevilize him. When they fought again, Ladybug noticed something was different about him, and upon Sparrow's realization, the heroine deduced that the villain had the power of the Eagle Miraculous, causing the adult heroes to run wild. She lead the young heroes in a fight against him and through careful planning trickery, they defeated him.
