She's so cute and chubby!
Her reaction when bumping into Adrien rivals Marinette's.
How could Sabrina possibly know when to clap for Chloé's award imitation?
This episode has a lot of shots of Marinette wearing her Ladybug earrings, but this is the most blatant one.
This must be particularly hard for her who has a pantomime actor as a father. She must be thinking that she's letting him down.
This is a question that probably doesn't cross many people's minds, but where does he put his staff when he does this?
Well, the answer is simple: under his armpit.
She smiles at Chloé's indignation.
Poor Max, covered by an imaginary background.
I would have done the same as Alya here.
Maybe Nino thought this was one of those arguments that end in a kiss.
If that's the case, he'll be disappointed.
Horrificator could have totally attacked Marinette here.
This episode is a gold mine of Marinette's facial expressions.
She's pretty cute for a cold-blooded killer.
The door's window was opaque earlier...
This is the closest they get. I checked frame per frame.
Probably, this is also the reaction of most fans at this scene.
I love how this band only appears in some episodes, mostly when it must be used as a plot device (like in this one and Animan).
I can't believe Chloé eye-rolled at Marinette's disappearance.
Y'know Alya, Nino has the right to film too.
I love when there are consistencies between episodes. For example, some characters have their unique colored backgrounds for some action moves/special reactions (like Ladybug's pink or red backgrounds and Cat Noir's grey or green ones).
Well, the Bubbler's backgrounds are colored just like this one.
You know, maybe when there aren't any other immediate problems at hand, she actually enjoys his dorkiness.
If you look at the shoe he took off, it was actually his left one, but here it is a right shoe (it also points the other way).
If he's so bad at lying, I wonder how he manages to keep his secret identity...
Here, though, it goes back to being a left shoe (the logo is supposed to be on the outer side), but it's flipped (you can actually see the logo).
Speaking of which, it's probably Gabriel Agreste's logo, and it seems to be a stylized butterfly. This may come from the fact that the word “Agreste
” means “Grayling
” (a type of butterfly) in French. I'm not implying anything else with this theory that links Gabriel to butterlflies. Really.
My classmates are in danger? Who cares!
