Ivan Bruel is a supporting character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a former student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont.
In "Ladybug & Cat Noir", after Kim teased him for not having the guts to ask Mylène out, he got akumatized by Hawk Moth and became Stoneheart, a rock-themed golem supervillain.
Because Ladybug didn't purify the akuma after defeating him the first time, he got reakumatized in "Stoneheart" when Mylène ran away from him because of his loud serenade.
In "Penalteam", Ivan receives the Ox Miraculous from Ladybug. When the Miraculous is inhabited by Stompp, Ivan becomes Minotaurox, an ox-themed superhero who will help Ladybug and Cat Noir during "particularly difficult missions" in the fourth season.
After the events of "Strikeback", Ivan was temporarily unable to become Minotaurox after Monarch managed to steal the Ox Miraculous along with all the others contained in the Chinese Miracle Box from Ladybug's yo-yo.
In "The Final Day", Ivan fell victim to Perfect Alliance believing that Ladybug and Cat Noir had "kidnapped" Adrien and Kagami Tsurugi, becoming a Miraculized until Nino freed him by destroying his Alliance ring. After Monarch's defeat, Ladybug recovers the stolen Miraculous and reforges them, Ivan is given back the Ox Miraculous permanently and reunites with Stompp.
Appearance
Physical appearance
Ivan is large and bulky with dark gray eyes. His hair is short and black, except for a tuft of long, dyed blonde hair above his forehead.
Civilian attire
He wears a black t-shirt with a white design of two crossing bones printed on the chest. He also wears black slacks with large belt loops and large pockets, along with white socks and light golden work boots.
As Stoneheart
Stoneheart was a huge and muscular grayish gold rock golem with glowing chartreuse eyes.
As Minotaurox
As Minotaurox, Ivan retains his short black hair with a small tuft of blonde hair at the front. His gray eyes are covered by two navy, crescent ovals forming a sort of mask. Minotaurox has two large horns on either side of his head. He wears a navy blue outfit with a gold ring on his chest.

Personality
Ivan guaranteeing to Mylène that the mask isn't something to be scared of.
Ivan is a tough guy with a tender heart.[6] He often appears grouchy and stubborn, particularly around situations he isn't interested in, like while being held captive at the Bubbler's party in "The Bubbler", but he also can sometimes be openly enthusiastic and expressive, cheering for Alix to beat Kim in "Timebreaker". The only person so far that he has shown a lot of warmth towards is Mylène.
Although, he is willing to help others in dangerous or bad situations, like when he fought off Zombizou's zombies so that the rest could escape.
He gets angry when he or his friends are unfairly treated or teased, sometimes standing up towards the culprit—even occasionally willing to physically fight back—and other times quietly moping about it. On the other hand, when people are kind and patient with him, he is able to open up about his inner feelings and listen to their advice.
According to Nino and Marinette in "Party Crasher", Ivan is known to be very honest to the point of being a terrible liar.
As Minotaurox, Ivan has more confidence in himself, specially when it comes using his own power without being afraid of hurting others.
As Stoneheart, he was extremely aggressive and furious, his enemies, including Kim and Chloé, being the ones he was the most furious at. He still loved Mylène, but his reasoning had been clouded when it came to her and he believed that Hawk Moth would bring the two together forever.
Abilities
As Ivan
Ivan plays the drums, is able to create song lyrics, and understand them, but his singing is loud and terrifying. He is also shown to destroy a phone by stomping on it once.
As Stoneheart
Stoneheart was a golem endowed with superhuman strength. He had a strong grip with his hands, being able to securely hold human victims or the wad of paper that was the akumatized object. Although not very fast when running, he still had fast enough reflexes to grab things in mid-air, and could throw things, like a human or vehicle, with a lot of power. Additionally, when he got hit with an attack, he grew in size and his strength increased.
Due to Ladybug not purifying the akuma, the akuma multiplied and transformed civilians into frozen versions of Stoneheart. When Ivan became Stoneheart again, the copies of Stoneheart began to move, and they were under the original Stoneheart's control.
As Minotaurox
Minotaurox has enhanced physical abilities. His tool is a Mallet. His power is Resistance, this superpower allows him to make himself impervious to other people's attacks and powers.

Ivan has romantic feelings for Mylène and cares about her deeply. He comforts her when she is scared or sad and he treats her very gently and considerately. His crush on Mylène is an indirect cause of his akumatization in "Ladybug & Cat Noir", and in "Stoneheart" he gets akumatized again because Mylène runs off after being scared by his loud serenade. Once he transforms the second time, he kidnaps Mylène so they can always be together. Ladybug also uses his crush to her advantage: by making Stoneheart accidentally kiss Mylène by tying them with her yo-yo, she makes him drop his akumatized object. After Mylène gets to read his song and explains she couldn't understand it while he was shouting, Ivan apologizes and vows to sing softer. In response, she hugs him to his surprise and causes him to blush.

When she is upset for being easily scared in "Horrificator", Ivan tries to cheer her up and gives her a pin. They also share a kiss after Myléne is no longer akumatized. In "Darkblade", he continues to be compassionate with her, hugging her to comfort her when Darkblade and his knights are closing in outside the Hôtel de Ville. In "Glaciator", Ivan shares an ice cream cone with Mylène at André's ice cream stand, also mentioning that they had gone there before as a couple.
Their love is so strong that in "Zombizou", after Ladybug defeats the titular villain and the Miraculous Ladybugs set everything to normal, a brief moment is shown where both Ivan and Mylène are sitting on a bench kissing, and when freed from Zombizou, nothing seems to change as they continue to kiss.

Ivan is friends with Marinette, and according to Marinette in "My Birthday Party", he always treats her nicely. They both agree that Chloé is terrible, and Ivan can be seen grinning at Marinette after stands up against Chloé at the end of "Stoneheart". He also listens to her suggestions, deciding to write a song for Mylène and try to remain positive about his situation with her. In "Darkblade", Ivan is happy when Marinette runs for class representative. He shows concern for Marinette when she becomes disappointed about Adrien not coming trying to comfort with the others in "Glaciator". Not being aware of Marinette's crush like Mylène and others, he is curious about who has green eyes that Marinette has feelings for.
When it comes to Ladybug, Ivan is glad that there is a hero watching over Paris. He is able to reveal his romantic feelings for Mylène thanks to Ladybug's help in "Stoneheart".
Alix Kubdel/Bunnyx
Ivan and Alix appear to be good friends. In "Mr. Pigeon", they're seen talking to each other, he cheers for her at the race with Kim in "Timebreaker", and in "Pixelator", the two have a pillow fight while getting work experience in Le Grand Paris.

In "Ladybug & Cat Noir", Kim sends him a teasing note in class about him not having the courage to ask Mylène out, this annoys Ivan, who tries to beat him. Later, once he is akumatized, Stoneheart goes after Kim in revenge, but after being de-evilized, he apologizes to Kim the next day in "Stoneheart", noting he wasn't himself. Their relationship improves after this experience, especially Kim's character development into a nicer guy, as seen on several occasions such as "Party Crasher".

Ivan gets angry when Chloé hurts Mylène’s feelings.
Ivan despises Chloé and the way she treats others. In "Stoneheart", Chloé calls him a monster because of his akumatization the previous day. It almost makes him angry enough to be akumatized again, but Marinette manages to calm him down. When he does get akumatized again, though, he kidnaps Chloé, along with Mylène, and eventually throws her from the Eiffel Tower, where she gets saved by Ladybug. Aftermacth, he hears Marinette standing up against Chloé, which makes both him, and the rest of the class burst out laughing.
Ivan is also infuriated by Chloé when she hurts Mylène's feelings in "Horrificator", informing her she is lame in response to her calling Mylène lame.
In "Collusion", he becomes furious when Chloé once again insults Mylène, to the point of almost punching her.
In "Revolution", Ivan joined in the protest against Chloé's tyranny, pointing out that Chloé likely didn't know what democracy is since she couldn't even pronunce the word properly.

In ¨Sole Crusher¨, when Ivan hears about what happened to Zoé in the past Ivan gives her a big hug to welcome her into the group.

- His superhero identity is based on a a mythical Greek creature portrayed during classical antiquity with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man known as Minotaur.
- Speaking of, he is the second character to have his superhero alias be based on a mythological character, the first being Pegasus.
