The Egyptian papyrus is an 5,000 year old scroll from ancient Egypt. It currently resides in the ancient Egyptian exhibit in the Louvre.

Appearance

The papyrus is old and warn. It is mostly covered in hieroglyphs, along with larger images depicting the 1,000 mummies and an offering ritual.

In hieroglyphs, the papyrus tells the event of King Tutankhamun I planning to sacrifice an innocent woman in order to bring back his deceased wife, Princess Nefertiti, using the power of his scepter. However, the Ladybug of the time prevented him from succeeding.

Trivia

  • The hieroglyph of the girl about to be sacrificed has glasses similar to Alya's. Because of this, the Pharaoh believes she must be his new offering in the episode of the same name.
  • Some of the hieroglyphs are of Tikki, Ladybug, King Tut, Princess Nefertiti, and Tut and Nefertiti embracing.
  • A photo of part of the papyrus is featured in Histoire.
